Pisscharge-Edën lp

Pisscharge is a new D-beat hardcore punk band  inspired by 80's and '90's  Brazilian hc/punk scene  and also heavily influenced by Discharge. Started in December 2017 and band members come from several countries, Brazil, Chile and Germany, all living in Linden, Hannover and as they say "We sing in different languages about what we think are problems that threat the planet. Antifa Punk, no Grayzone!", well this sounds good!
The record consists ofe thirteen songs of D-beat with metallic surface, angry vocals from Kassandra who sings in Portuguese (and that increases the Latin American feeling), fast D-beat drumming with some slower breaks, excellent sound quality and social, left-political lyrics. It was recorded, mixed and mastered at DNA Anti Studio, Celle and artwork was made by Lakshmi Weiẞmann, it comes in 500 copies of black vinyl, track #7, Marielle is dedicated to Brazilian activist Marielle Franco, a Brazilian politician, feminist, and human rights activist who was murdered in March 2018. Franco had been an outspoken critic of police brutality and extrajudicial killings, shortly before her death she became chairman of a commission for the investigation of military interventions in Brazil.
The band is quite active with their concerts, and in the summer they are going to play in More Noise For Life Fest. Edën is available from Aback distribution and many other distros,  also available for streaming/downloading in bandcamp. You can read a review in Punkdistro

Nocturnal Scum-st ep

And as the cold winter plagues Eiropean continent, Nocturnal Scum unleash hellish fire and their stenchcore attack makes the freezing cold a bit bearable, or do they make the temperature dive into more cold? Anyway, Nocturnal Scum formed in Berlin, Germany a few years ago, their first work was their 2016 demo and their first mark of solid metallic crust/stenchcore. Two years later they strike again with a six track ep and hell yeah, they deliver the goods!
The new material comes out as 12" MLP on Angry Voice Records, it was recorded in winter 2017/18  in band's rehearsal space, it was mastered by Enormous Door and artwork was made by Ernst Morsch. Music wise, the band remains devoted to the old school stenchcore they brought in their demo. Heavy metallic guitar riffs, driving bass, rough female vocals from  Katrien (ex-Last Legion Alive) and clanking drums with slower/midpaced parts and D-beat when the pace goes faster. There is an old school feeling, this rotting, primitive sound reminiscent of '80's/early '90's  crust and stenchcore from UK: The spirit of Deviated Instinct, early Hellbastard, Extinction of Mankind and Amebix seems to live in Nocturnal Scum and  reflects on their music and the eerie front cover artwork.
All and all this is a great piece of stenchcore crust delivered in 300 copies of vinyl, available from Angry Voice Records, the ep is also available for streaming/downloading in bandcamp along with lyrics.Listen it and let there be hell!

Tribünal-D-Beat Beast

Tribünal is back after an almost two years hiatus, for those unfamilar with the band, Tribünal is one man band from Hildesheim, Germany, meat-free, god-free, drug-free ideals are stated in bandcamp and seem ok. The project started a few years ago by S who changed slightly the music direction in his releases: From D-beat/D-beat Cust in his debut FTW, to raw punk in All Hope Is Lost (tape), Helpless (tape) and Watch you suffer (tape) and then a turning to Swedish death metal in Age of Iron (supposed to come out as 7").
D-Beat Beast is the latest recoding, it consists of four tracks, recorded and mixed during summer '18, mastered in December '18 and marks another slight change: D-beat driven tracks with the simple verse/chorus structure (plus a break with some cool solos), typical for the genre riffs and crunchy guitar sound inspired by the Swedish crust scene reminiscent a combination of early Disfear and Skitsystem and some melodic moments inspired by Wolfbrigade, excellent sound quality, rough shouted vocals, lyrics are dealing with personal topics with the exception of the opening track,Nuclear Winter wich deals with the post nuclear destruction nightmare, As about drumming, it is D-beat nicely placed in the mix. S used drum software in his previous releases, he probably doess here too but drums section is so well worked and you can't recognize if is either real drummer or a drum software.
All and all D-Beat Beast is an excellent come back to action, incorporating the Boss HM 2 sound of Swedish Death Metal into D-beat and Crust,  everything is well done and there 's nothing to complain here. Currently available in bandcamp but not any ifno about physical release.

Discommand-Hell is Here

Deathly crust metal from Stuttgart, Germany: Discommand started in 2017 with War is Terror, a heavy piece of crust with death metal influences, D-beat and doublebass drumming and rough vocals. The band describes their music as an effort "to portray the horrors of war and our contempt for different aspects of human destructiveness. this is anti war and totally anti right-wing shit! . Well said.  Hell is Here is their last and second full release since their other two releases, Nuclear Winter is ep and Mesmerize is a single track. Hell is Here lasts nearly twenty minutes, it brings seven tracks including an intro and music wise this is crust metal with hardcore and death metal influences,metal-edged and thick guitar sound, rough crusty vocals, D-beat and also doublebass drumming. Lyrics deal with sociopolitical topics. This came out as cassette and cd, self-released by the band, and is also available in bandcamp.

Doomed Again/Sarkast-Doomed Sarkast split tape (Desorden, 2017)

Doomed Sarkast is a split of Doomed Again from Greece and Sarkast from Germany, it comes in cassette format and is released by Desörden. Doomed Again are not new here since i have posted their previous works , this split is their fifth release and they just announced the recording of new tracks for an aupcoming ep titled "D-Beat the Bastards". For those who are not familiar with the band, Doomed Again was formed by people who carry a history in noisy, grinding acts such as Head Cleaner, Slaughtergrave, Homo Iratus etc and they deliver old school D-Beat coming straight from the 80's. Here they contribute three tracks and they deliver the goods without reinventing the wheel. Old school worship without the grinding hnts of their early relases. Sarkast come from Bremen, Germoney, birthplace of Carol, Acme, Acid rain Dance etc they are a crust/powerviolence band, and they recently released their first lp, De-Genaration  Here, they offer four songs of crusty powerviolence/hardcore with fast beat and rough shouted vocals. Visions of Dystopia-st demo 2014

A few years ago i posted the demo of a band named Visions of Dystopia when someone contributed their demo tracks, link here, the band seemed already defunt and the demo was from 2009 or 2010 or so, A few years later and in 2014 Visions of Dystopia formed again and recorded seven songs incl. two old tracks and unleashed it in bandcamp. The new recording is in the same pathway of fast D-beat crust as their old demo but with much more brutality and better sound quality. The band seems to be inactive again since their farcebook isn't updated for a long time and i didn't find any physical format of demo. even the artwork they used is a picture from they had used for the first demo., looks like there is digital format only  for this.

Kriminal-Demo 2016

"Kriminal is a new Berlin based D-Beat/HC-Punk Band(not really any Crust in here but i think it somehow fits on you Page) with ex and current members of Nocturnal Scum, Instinct of Survival, Countdown to Armageddon, Guided Cradle, Endrophobia,....). Musik is best described as fast HC-Punk influenced by Swedish HC (Totalitär/Anti Cimex)as well as State of Fear and Consume and with occasional RocknRoll Riffs thrown in here and there."
This was the mail i received from Lasesie and more or less describes this demo: Six tracks and ten minutes of filthy D-beat driven punk with crust hints incorporating the hardcore parts of Totalitär and early Anti Cimex with the power and crustcore rage of Consume and State of Fear. This is something different from these guys considerng their past in stenchcore and crust bands. Available in bandcamp.

Plant-Consious punk

"We are Plant. We three people and play a mixture of HC-Punk, Crust, Sludge und Dub. Since we formed the band we played a lot in DIY music places in Hamburg and recorded some songs at a friends studio. We consider ourselves an anarchist bands, we're all active in different subculture stuff (political groups, diy concerts). All our music is up for free download and we try to play only shows which have a diy and leftwing background. We also do all the stuff ourselves (booking shows, artwork, etc. ) or with the help of friends. The songs will also be released on tape in a few months via Amator Tapes (own tape label) and Uga Uga Tapes which is run by a close friend of ours."
Consious Punk consists of seven tracks of punk blended with a shitload of genres,:Dub, ska punk, hardcore, crust etc, with shouted vocals, if you are into such mixing of genres then this is for you but as i said in Repressione's post a few days ago, the most important in such bands is their political stance,. This is available in bandcamp, check their blog, its very interesting with many political statements and local news. Guys apologies for the delay to post your recording

Nocturnal Scum-Demo 2016

Nocturnal Scum is a female fronted crust/stenchcore band from Berlin, incl. members of Kriminal and here's their fresh new demo. The demo consists of four tracks and nearly sixteen minutes of metallic crust: Nocturnal Scum incorporate crust and metal and deliver heavy, metal influenced crust by blending some classic bands of the genre (Amebix, Misery, Deviated Instinct) with the Swedish death metal bands of early '90's: There are slow and midpaced emotional parts, faster passages where the D-beat appears, metal edged heavy, metallic and solid sound delivered by the guitar duet and rough vocals by Katrien (ex-Last Legion Alive singer) that fit nicely with the sonic hell, All and all this is a nice piece of metallic crust, simillar to bands such as Hellshock and the likes. I didn't find any info about physical release yet, this will come out as cassette in a few weeks, currently this is available in bandcamp for your listening pleasure. The demo was finished recently, it was recorded Dec 2015/Jan2016 .

Dishope-Peace is more than the lack of war tape

Dishope hail from Germoney, they are a D-beat raw punk band and Peace is more than the lack of war is their cassette, released in 2014 by Mentalna Smrt Fanzin, As usual, i don't know anything about the band, anyway the cassette came out in 100 copies and consists of nine songs and fourteen minutes of raw and distorted D-beat: Dishope's noise is similar to Disclose and the myriads of bands with the same direction: Endless feedback of chaotic noise and D-beat driving force, the voice of singer has a Japanese feeling, i can only compare it with Japanese singers and the vocalist of Go Filth Go who has the same voice tone, Lyric wise the band is in the usual territory of anti-war, anti authority and meat means murder topics, Mentalna Smrt stands behind the Hellback/Nuclear Altar split tape and the Propast/Hellback/No Name/Nuclear Altar-4 way split tape, Copies are still available, you can get them contacting the zine, or get it from Discogs or stream it in bandcamp.

Tribünal-Watch you suffer tape 2015

“Watch You Suffer” sees Tribünal return to the metallic sound of “All Hope Is Lost”, creating a (Swedish) death-metal influenced sound while still remaining true to it’s d-beat and crustpunk roots. The result is Tribünal’s most brutal and devastating material yet.Recorded and mixed strictly DIY at Tribünal’s homestudio the songs were then mastered by Andi “ND” Brunke. The tape features 5 songs and comes in a silkscreened handmade cover with a b/w-insert, released in an edition of 50 by Colossus Tapes. Tribünal was founded in April 2013. Desteufels-Live demo 2014

Desteufels hail from  Germany they are a brutal crust three man band and here is their first demo, recorded in autumn 2014. The demo has excellent sound and music wise they deliver death metal orientated brutal crust simillar to Korades and Accion Mutante, actually the bass player/vocalist was in Korades. You have to expect heavy, distorted and thick guitar, heavy bass lines, hard hitting D-beat drums with some moments of blast beats and brutal vocals. I like this shit. The demo is available in bandcamp and these tracks will appear in an upcoming release

Tribünal-Helpless tape 2014

Tribünal is the one man noise machine from Germoney and Helpless  is S's third release, it came out as cassette and consists of five songs. The previous releases was a hybrid of Wolfbrigade/Anti Cimex blending but in Helpless there is a step in the noise side of this and in the area of Electric Funeral, Paranoid, Dropend and such raw punk acts: Helpless in chaotic and gritty, raw and distorted, primitive and violent. The tape in available through Kink Records, Contraszt and directly from the band, its also available in bandcamp

Bluntshit-Demo 2014

Bluntshit is a three piece hardcore act from Beerlin, Germoney and this is their first demo. I don't know much about them since their farcebook page has not any information. Anyway, the demo came out in January '14 and music wise blending a handhul of genres and deliver a mixture of hardcore heavinly polluted by punk and crust: There are some parts where the band falls from hardcore into crust territories, there are even some moments of neo-crust hints (Alle Schockiert, Nichts Passiert and in the end of GMRE) and straightforward d-beat driven crust (PitShit, which is a song about the macho behaviour in gigs), but they mostly walk in hardcore pathways (60€, DBSB) delivering heavy hardcore with angry shouted vocals full of power, lyrics are mostly in German but there are some song with lyrics in English, the guitar delivers heavy riffs and there are some nice leading parts (check the final part of Revenge of Stench), The demo consists of eight songs and lasts nearly thirteen minutes, track #7, VDH is a seven second. microsong. The sound quality is excelent, it helps the band to deliver the goods and all instruments sound in place. All and all this is a decent effort for hardcore fans and people who like genre blending. I didn'nt see any information about physical copies of it but you can stream and download it for free in bandcamp. The band is going to for a mini tour in March and April in Germany. My apologies for the long delay to post this..

Piss-Demo 2013

Piss come from Gernoney and this is their Bible, hey, wait no! this is their demo! ok now? They are a trio with two guys from Sweden and one from Spain, the guys from Sweden were also in Batalj and Sänkt so despite their young age they carry some history . Batalj were/is an expermental noise band while Sänkt is in the usual punk/hardcore territories. The demo was recorded in Berlin in 2013, it comes on cassette and the band had the smart idea to make it look like a bible book: The whole shit, front, back cover and even the inlay look like a bible or a religious book whatever, check the pictures here. Very interesting idea and someone would expect it from a death metal or black metal band or from a death/black metal orientated crust band and not from these raw punks, Piss have no any relation with these genres and i guess their only conenction with religion is a song titled Religion. The demo comes in 100 pieces of black cassettes and was released by Static Age, music wise this is frantic anf raging hardcore punk, simillar to the punk of Sänkt but even more rough, raw and pissed off with cacophonous dual shouted vocals and song titles such as Puke On the Patriarchy, How Simple Can Punk Get? Rest In Piss and Civil Cops. Thesy seem to have great sence of humor, i wish i could read their lyrics. There are nine songs and the singers shout in English and Swedish. The demo is a available via Static Age and also there is a mediafire link here, provided by the band (thank you!)
