Sturmovik-Destination Nowhere cd

Time for some great melodic crust tunes: Sturmovik hail from Poland Poland and inlude members of Wild Bitches and The Dead Goats. Destination Nowhere is their debut cd, released by Selfmadegod Records in 2015, N.I.C re-released it as vinyl in 2016 in 352 copies. This is available in Selfmadegod bandcamp and the label recomments this to fans of Disfear, Wolfbrigade, Victims, Genocide SS, Hellshock and Martyrdöd. This is outstanding and incredibly good melodic crust having its roots and influences in the afforementioned bands, i can only compare them with Instinto in matters of quality level. In other words, this is among the 2015 top releases of melodic crust. Destination Nowhere consists of nine songs and last 30 minutes and is available via Selfnadegod,  people from US can geit it via Earsplit Distro

Deszcz-Rain Keeps Falling

Deszcz come from Poznan, Poland and Rain keeps falling is their first recording, currently on bandcamp and soon as seven inch ep. I Don't know anything about Deszcz, their mail says "We are from Poznań, playing some dark crust/hardcore or just neocrust music. We are also vegetarians and antifascists, I think that all about us." Being Antifa and Veggy is nice and great and to me, social awareness is always a plus to someone's personality. Rain Keeps Falling was recently uploaded on bandcamp and consists of six tracks of neo crust in the vein of Ictus, Madame Germen, Ekkaia, Alpininist and others. In other words, this is black metal driven crust with screamed vocals, pessimistic lyrics, D-beat driven rhythm section and mournful guitar lines. The songs move in fast and some times even faster pace but pessimism and melacholy win all the time. Its like a desperate and futile escape from inner darkness and nightmares that always return. The first song, The Storm Is Coming is an instrumental with slow beginning, next is Afterlife which is a raging in agony neocrust fast song, No Sense starts with a catchy intro before turn into a fast rager, the same structure of slow beginning and then fast outbreak with some midpaced moments is followed in False Promises and Unwanted while The Grey' first half is in mid beat turns into a frantic hell There are not fillers here, all songs are in the same level. This is for fans of melodic crust/neocrust (Downfall of a Gaia, Inhuman Poison and such bands. This will come out as 7" soon. Download link is provided by the band

Kuroi Ame-Demo cd 2012

Kuroi Ame (black rain in Japanese) is a crust trio from Tarnów, Poland, they formed in 2009 and this is their demo cd recorded sometime in 2011. I don’t know anything about them so drop some lines here if you know anyshit. The demo comes in cd format (a cd that looks like vinyl) and delivers seven songs and fourteen minutes of neo-crust in the vein of  Madame Germen, Alpinist and the likes. This is dark and emotional, the singer delivers desperate screams in English while the guitar brings some  mournful riffs, sometimes epic and emotional,  sometimes fast and aggressive, the rhythm section leads the pace from fast parts to slower melodic and emotional/pessimistic passages while some D-beat pops up from time to time when the band speeds on. Some backing vocals pop up too,  the sound quality is decent, the artwork follows the technique used in the sub-genre minimalistic with dark and fading colors, a sheet with lyrics is included. Well done effort for the fans of Ekkaia, Leadershit, Alpinist, Down to Agony, Madame Germen etc
Thanx to T for sending this, download link is provided by the band, you can also stream it in their bandcamp.

Ceaseless Desolation-Demo 2011

Polish crust punk scene has brought some great acts (Infekcja, Filth of Mankind, Sanctus Iuda, Lost, etc) and Ceaseless Desolation seem to be another worth to mention band of this scene: They formed in 2009 and this demo was recorded in March 2011, a cd version of it is released by Blindman Melodies in 100 copies. Here you got five tracks and nearly 19 minutes of crust aggression: Honestly, i was expecting something close to Nuclear Death Terror because of the name but similarities end in name and heaviness: Music wise there is a blending of crust and stenchcore with some black metal hints popping up and take off crust to the raw brutality of black metal (check Dwunożna Autodestrukcja or the ending part of Ucieczka), the the sound quality delivers the goods, the songs are lengthy and fast paced with a few slower doomy parts, vocals are rough in the usual crust way, lyrics are in Polish and deal with "nihilistic and depressive topics, and beside some personal issues, about individual freedoms and thoughts on the conditions of the contemporary society". This is heavy and hell, i wish only there was translation of lyrics in their ReverbNation (babelfish sucks!), you can order a copy from Blindman Melodies or listen and download the demo in their Reverbnation or just click the link below (thanks Mark and cheers!)

Disdrama-Demo 2010

Disdrama hail from Poland and despite the Dis-name they are not another dis-band: Their six track demo was recorded in 2010 and brings 23 minutes of heavy and emotional blackened crust, songs move from fast to midpaced parts, guitars are thick and deliver metallic riffs, there extreme dual vocals (high pitched shrieks vs brutal growls) coming out of the lungs of the same person and they use violin in some parts. Imagine a caldron on fire and bands such as early Kylesa and Bolt Thrower boiling inside. qQlxqln who runs Diy Anarcho Crust Punx blog plays in the band (thanks for the link dude!)

Drip of Lies-Demo

Drip of Lies come from the city of Warsaw,Poland.A newer band, formed by people from some other older bands in poland i guess, they have few on their space page but ive only heard one of those i think, but then again,i dont know much about polish scene in particular. What we have here from this band is their effort to make a solid Wolfbrigade kinda crust d beat, but its not really the same, since on these 4 tracks youll hear a bit more crust/hardcore sound, but in a good kinda way.My oppinion is that this is a good start for this polish quintet. And as ending on this post,im just going to copy paste what they say on space page : Raw,distorted hardcore punk.Founded in 2008.
With members of Use The Brain,The Fight,Snakes Parade,Ultima Ratio,Kill The Famians Feeling.
Support d.i.y ,vegetarian/vegan lifestyle and antifascism.
Drop us a line via myspace or dripoflies(at)gmail.com.Later!;Thats all from me folks, cheers!!

Pandemia Sistema-Demo 2007

Pandemia Sistema was a six piece act from formed in Chodziez Poland, they formed in '06 and the summer of '07 they recorded this seven track demo, in summer of '08 they played their last gigs and called it quits.
The demo must be their only recorded material plus some more tracks available in their last.fm page, the seven tracks last for about eighteen minutes, there are powerful male/female screamed/shouted vocals (plus some growls here and there) and lyrics in Polish, sound quality is excellent, music wise this is crusty hardcore with some nice guitar riffs balancing on the thin line between the genres. The band delivers much more power and aggression than other Polish female fronted bands such as Post Regiment, Eye For An Eye or Wlochaty. Rhythm section makes great work leading the band to fast or faster pathways. I don't know if there is any connection with other bands, they managed to create some nice songs without being a novelty or something groundbreaking, if they were still active they would have brought some more cool stuff.

Delicje-Demo 2008

Just ignore the strange pink cover and focus to the music, this is an amazing demo: Delicje come from Warsaw, Poland and include members of LD50 and El Banda, this demo was recorded sometime in 2008 and delivers four tracks of melodic and powerful hardcore with female vocals reminding of Post Regiment and Kalashnikov from Italy. The lady who sings has excellent voice, there are some nice melodies and interesting guitar riffs and the use of keyboards in some parts works really nice. I don't know anything else about them, i m not into melodic punk but i can listen to these guys and girl again and again, unfortunately the whole thing lasts for only 8:30 minutes. The one and only bad thing here is the one minute crappy ambient intro..just skip it.

Stuck on Ceiling-Intro-wersja (Tape,1993)

i know only a few about these guys, thanks to the visitor who made a comment in 7inchcrust long time ago: Stuck on Ceiling come from Poland, they formed in 1990 and released several tapes, "Intro-wersja ,1993 and "Wahadla godzin",1995 are the most well known. Due to many line up changes their music changed too and their hardcore/crossover hybrid was transformed into crossover and finally to experimental music with "Na horyzoncie rwert" cd (1999)
"Intro-wersja " was recorded back in the old days when the band was in the hardcore territory. It was released on Enigmatic, the cover unfolds and includes lyrics (in Polish), the tape consists of ten tracks and 38 minutes of hardcore/punk, if you known "W prozni" 7" then imagine an early version of it with no screaming vocals
Nuff said,go get it

01:Martwy punkt

03:Wybryk natury
04:Deszcz
05:Na nowo [ moskwa ]

Bomba w Torcie-Anarchia 666 (tape,1996)

..And from Demo(n)cracy we are moving to Anarchy: Bomba w Torcie were a crust band from Poland. I don't know not a fucking shit about them, their myspace has no infos and Google search gives results only in Polish., we would appreciate it if visitors from Poland who happen to know any infos about BwT, make a comment and enlighten us..
Anarchia 666 was a tape released by Enigmatic Records in 1996 and this must be their one and only release (Google search gives no other release of them). BwT deliver eleven tracks of grinding crust with brutal vocals, heavy guitars with some metal and grind elements here and there, blasting drums, decent sound quality and about 39 minutes of grinding crust
Enigmatic Records was a Polish label, i remember a silly photo on their website when it was hacked a few weeks after one of my friends made a 200 euros order, you can find this shitty story about how the guy(s) behind the label treated him here
tracks:
01:Bomba w torci3

Hostility- ...I niech jeden strza (tape)

i found this very underrated shit about a year ago in Profane Existance forum posted by Pawel, guitarist of Filth of Mankind. Hostility, also named as Anti-Hostility for some time of their active years, were a crust band from Poland, active in 90's. Their discography includes only tapes: One unreleased demo tape, a split tape with Fear Of Conform (side project of some of their members) and the...'I Niech Jeden Strzal' tape. There is also a 4-song unreleased 7". Their vocalist Mieczyk commited suicide a few years ago..
this is the 'I Niech Jeden Strzal' tape, it consists of eleven tracks of heavy midpaced crust in the vein of Amebix, Axegrinder Misery and the likes, some Hiatus influences can be found here and there. About 38 minutes of depressing crust, the sound production is not the best but not bad at all, bitrate in 256, 70 Mb but worth to check it out. Lyrics in polish, unfortunately there is no cover artwork...
Tracklist:
01: Intro (Nie Widzisz Zagrozenia) + Zatrzymajmy Sie
02: Massmedia
03: Dlaczego
04: Bez Konsekwencj
05: Dehumanizacja
06: Obojetnosc
07: Totalitarny Swiat
08: Tak bardzo sie boisz
09: To Nie Wszystko
10: Bledne Kolo
11: Potrzebujesz Ich Klamstw
