Chaos UK - Just mere slaves cd & Stunned to silence cd

Hellbastard - Hate Militia CD

Hellbastard was one of the founders of crust punk sound and genre, their groundbreaking Ripper Crust was recorded in 1986 and gave name to the new genre.
After the Ripper crust cassette the band recorded Hate militia in summer of 1987, in this recording they made a step into metal territory and started adding some metal elements that can easily be discovered here but they stay in the crust fields too balancing somewhere in the middle.
Here we got the CD version of Hate Militia released by Black Konflik who contiues to re-release some old diamonds: This is the first reissue of the originally released cassette. This CD contains 12 page booklet with classic photo, band liner notes and the original 8 tracks plus 7 bonus unreleased tracks taken from rough mix of Natural Order LP from 1989, also comes with obi strip. A totally raw & dirty classic crust!

A killer release from Black Konflik and this time the label brings the demo of these UK grindcore legends: PROPHECY OF DOOM hailed from Gloucestershire and immediately made an impact on the UKHC / grind / death scene in the late 80s, becoming firm favourites of John Peel and standing out for their unique lyrics and subject matter focusing on philosophy and psychology.   Insanity reigns supreme is band's demo from 1988, released by BK as cd in 350 copies.

Zygote-89-91 cd

A Zygote compilation with tracks taken from demo and live recordings from 1989 until 1991. Original released in 1993 on vinyl by Skuld Releases and now reissue on cd version by Black Konflik.
Zygote formed after Amebix split in late 1980's and included former Amebix members Spider, George Smutpig & Stig with the addition of former The Smartpils member, Tim Crow. The band was short-lived and only released one full-length album.

APEDREADO-Demo 2019

Chaotic raw punk from Leeds England, UK. Distortion to the maximum for the guitar and bass, D-beat drums, vocals are drown in echo and reverb and the singer sings in Spanish. The demo brings four tracks , it came out as cassette on Cold Comfort, also available in bandcamp

Haavat-Demo 1 2019

Haavat is a new band from Norwich UK formed by members of Agnosy, Viha, Deviated Instinct and Revulsion. Demo 1 is obviously the first recorded material of band, recorded at Plug Studios, Norwich UK and engineered by Pete Fellows.
The demo consists of nine tracks and brings female fronted D-beat driven hardcore punk reminding of Viha because of Katri's vocals and her singing in Finnish but also because of Mid's guitar work. This is fast and intense hardcore punk with a slight Finnish flavor. The artwork of cover brings Mid's signature and the whole demo lasts seventeen minutes. The recording is available in bandcamp. First gig of Haavat is with Doom, Agnosy, Myteri (Sweden) and Arboricidio, here

Excrement of War-Cathode Ray Coma (tape)

This is a cassette reissue of classic album from the '90's by these lengendary crusties. from UK. Extrement of War released Cathode Ray Coma as cd and tape back in 1994, Black Konflik re-releases this old gem as cassette with new artwork made by Si Brown from Warrior Graphics, John Antisect and Gus Hellkrusher, the 14 tracks of cassette were remastered by Kenko Meanwhile. All these sound interesting, add the quality of cover/inlay paper Black Konflik is know for and all these make a worth to chase down cassette. The remastered  songs are not available anywhere so you need to get the tape if you want to listen

Doom-Europe 2016(tape)

Live Europe is a seventeen track tape released by Black Konfik and consists a live recording in Utrecht, Netherlands 09 April 2016 when Doom played there during their European Tour, the tracks were recorded by Erik Minnen. Seventeen od and new songs (you can see the tracklist here,) that bring you the feeling of a Doom's gig. The cassette sold out soon and now there is a repress . There is not any sound sample for this tape, if you wanna listen it you have to get a copy. the cassettes come with free sticker and high quality cover and printing

Doom-Consumed to death & 2011 USA tour' tape

Black Konflik is a Malaysian label, active since 2004 and expertising in cassette releases and so far they have released a shitload of tapes and among them there are some really great bands. Here we got the cassette version of  Doom's Consumed to death 7" and 2011 USA tour lp (incl the Celtic Frost and Shitlickers covers). This is really amazing but things do not stop here: The cassette includes three tracks that previously appeared only in compilations, the new songs are Fahrenheit 451, OEF and Human Meat (Jap Mix) and appeared in A new world in our heart' Comp and OEF comp. Totally 14 tracks. There is also a cd version of this tape, released by Black Clouds, Doom's own label. Godhole/Crozier-Anthropophobia split 7"

A piece of brutal noise here: Savagely dissonant yet emotive grindcore/powerviolence trio Godhole team up with Scottish harsh noise legend and cultivator of Vile Noise Records, Crozier on this brutal 7". The 7" features 7 tracks of face melting punk chaos slamming against barbaric harsh noise walls, brain scrambling signal generators and ear bleed inducing noise. The release is accompanied by a three track EP bonus purist power electronics tracks collaborated on by Jamie of Godhole and Crozier. Thats the soundtrack of a world that collapses into its own misery and chaos, 7 minutes total running time for 7 songs without gaps among them are enough cause some ear bleeding, this is sick and catastrophic as can get. Doom-Consumed To Death ep

No need to say much here since you probably already know the news: New recording by Doom is unleashed in bandcamp: Consumed To Death is their fresh new ep, this is a a benefit for the families affected by the tragic deaths at Doom's concert in Santiago, Chile, on April 16th, 2015, so paying a small ammount you give a help to the relatives of those who died. Consumed To Death will come out as vinyl, still unknown when, so go and stream it (great recording, great songs, lyrics and artwork, check the Rainbow Hub for a review on music) and pay  some shit, if you are in UK there is no better place than 1 in 12 Club Bradford to be in September 25 for the Chile Benefit gig, if you can't be there just check The Chile Benefit comp in bandcamp (23 bands inc. Troglodytes-Avoid/Survive tape

Troglodytes come from London and was formed by the guy who's behind the one man project Sesso Violento: Avoid/Survive is a cassette ep that delivers ten songs and nearly eight minutes of blistering fast and abrasive harsh hardcore punk in the vein of Aerosols, Vile Gash, Nazi Dust and Raw Nerves. The band include members of british grind and black metal underground acts Cthulhu Youth, Cease to Exist and Turbo Chong. All and all this is a nice piece of shitty and raw noize with fast drumming and guitar riffs and shouted vocals. This is limited edition of 50 copies (40 clear + 10 red with folded lyrics insert) and was released in March 2015 and is available Yamabusi Recordings

One man black metal/with crust, punk and metal infuences: 'Domini Canes is one man band from uk, black metal, punk/crust, thrash, dsbm and death metal influences with a very slight industrial tinge and some pretty rough and raw production and mastering, lyrics covering religion, society, disillusion, philosophy, The cover art and the name of this demo was intended as a mockery of "all the black metal pseudo-elitism which seems so rampant these days".  The demo consists of five songs and is available in soundcloud.

Iron Eagle-On the Attack 2014

No,don't get fooled by  the cover, this is neither thrash metal nor motorcharged metal punk: Iron Eagle come from Southwest UK and bring death/stench/punk, blending Integrity, Bolt Thrower and Winter, the band includes members of Human Cull, Disfortune and Witch Cult. Their first recorded material was a four track Practice demo and was followed by On The Attack which is a lethal blending of the aforementioned bands, 4/5 tracks appeared also in their demo, this is heavy and emotional, i enjoyed mostly the Bolt Thrower death metal influences that pop up here and there. Agnoia-4 track demo

Agnoia come from Northampton, England,  formed around the start of 2013 and here is their four track demo which delivers anarcho-hardcore with old school flavor. This sounds like been recorded sometime in '80's, a nice effort for the fans of genre, the songs are avialable in band's reverbnation page

Dis-Tank-D-Beat Machine demo tape 2014

Dis-Tank is a new band from England, i don't know anything about them, all i know is one guy is also in The Domestics from Sudbury/Ipswich. Architects of War is their eight song debut tape, limited to only 50 copies and released by Kibou Records. I had no chance to listen the complete tape but three of eight tracks of cassette including one Ramones cover. As you probably understood, D-Beat Machine is what the title says: Rough and noisy D-beat from the early days of Discharge, typical d-beat drumming fast and steady, guitars and bass full of reverb and distortion, echo-ed shouted vocals, the usual raw noise recipe. I Lost My Mind, originally by Ramones i well covered and sounds like original Dis-Tank song, maybe the best of three songs here. All and all this is a honest effort, no novelties or whatever, just pure noisy D-beat. If the rest songs of tape are in the level of these three tracks then this is a nice debut demo. The fold out cover includes the lyrics, the demo comes with download code. As i said this is the first Dis-Tank release, they also appear in Kibou's 7" comp Without Kibou There Is Nothing (Vol 2), Kibou is a small distro.label from Suffolk area with several releases under their belt, check their farcebook page for more. You can get a copy of D-Beat Machine from them, get it before they sell the 50 copies.

Sunsmasher-Hell/Noise/Church

Time for some heavy and emotional sludge with loads of crust influences: Glaskow based doom metal monsters Sunsmasher strike back with Hell/Noise/Church which is their first release after the Mammothian/Loud/Cult demo from 2011 (posted here). After the very positive reviews of demo they shared the stage with some "big" names such as Dragged Into Sunlight, Monarch and others, during 2012 and '13 some line up changes took place and thus Hell/Noise/Church sounds slightly different to their demo. Including three tracks and total running time nearly seventeen minutes they deliver their usual heavy as hell of doom metal inspired by the misery and painful tunes of Electric Wizzard, Swans etc and they add a flavor of crust and aggression in their sludge swamp of darkness, pain and despair. Redeemer is my fav track here. Imagine two wounded mamoths in pain, fighting each other and destroying everything around them. This is Hell/Noise/Church. Recorded at Riverside Music Complex with Kevin Hare (Black Sun), mixed by Kevin Hare and Sunsmasher  mastered by James Plotkin (Khanate/O.L.D.). A great piece of crust influenced doom/sludge, heavy as an unbearable weight in someone's soul and heart. This is available on bandcamp. Catch them on stage and catch the dark spirit they reflect.

Doom-Corrupt Fucking System lp/cd (Black Cloud, 2013)

Its been lesss than 24 hours since Doom anounced the release of their 8th LP which is the first LP since 2001 and World of Shit. Corrupt Fucking System comes out on Black Cloud, Doom's own label on vinyl and cd as well, the vinyl comes in gatefold cover and artwork was made by Mark Skinny Orton. The recordings took place in Studios 1 in 12 Club in Bradford. Now lets get straight to the point: Corrupt Fucking System consists of fourteen tracks There are fast thunders full of wrath and power such as Suffer in Silence, Thatchercide (omg, this is THE song title of the year!  and of course deals with beloved Maggie), Human Meat or the opening track Stripped, Whipped and Crucified (which first appeared in Moshpit Tragedy's Doom comp 25 Years of Crust) and catchy slower/mid paced tempo songs such as Better off Dead, Own Worse Enemy while sometimes they combine fast and mid pace (They Still Test on Dogs (with backing vocals by Charlie of Anti Cimex), Eat Shit & Buy).  #2 track, Prey for our Souls its a shorta Pt2 of Stripped, Whipped and Crucified  since lyrically is connected with the previous song, the eponymous track is a kind of manifest with its spoken word narrated by Fag Ash Lil, the last song Cults of Human Sacrifice is in the same vein with the use of samples. Sound wise, Bri Doom did great work and everything is perfect. Overall i 'd say this continues the Doom legacy in the usual high levels and adds another great chapter in their history, i can say i was surprised by the power and aggression they deliver, this stuff comes directly from late '80's and kicks ass. Looks like they are like the good wine that gets better as it gets older.  Lyric wise they deliver all out political rhymes, against religion and Vatican church, consumerism, government, capitalist system, fascism etc (i think Final Hour (for the Golden Shower) deals with the greek nazi scum rise). Doom announced the release of Corrupt Fucking System in their farcebook page, here. For all those who have no patience to put their hands on it on have lack of funds to purchase it, they uploaded the whole record in bandcamp and offer it for streaming and downloading incl. the lyrics. What a great Crustmass present! Thank you Doom! The cd version will come out sometime in next January.
