For all we know, the weight cut fucked her up and she was on the verge of passing out. She’s pale (more than usual), eyes sunken in, and blinking one eye before the other.

Genuinely concerning that nobody on her team looked at her and thought “Maybe she should walk between us and not in front of us” in case she falls over.

    I'm not sure the above poster is suggesting she doesn't know how to cut weight, this is 24hours after she finished cutting weight anyway. But there's all sort of things that could be wrong, she made weight fine but maybe here she hasn't rehydrated properly, or her nutrition is off, or she's tired and run down. Hell, maybe she's caught some kind of flu or she's just severely stressed/anxious (I sure as hell would be).

                        i was watching her last Twitch stream on Monday before the fight and she was answering questions and someone asked if she gets nervous before fights and she said she’s pretty calm during fight week and she only really feels nerves the day of and in the immediate lead up to the fight so I guess this is that but it definitely seems more intense than you would want

                        As someone who deals with crippling anxiety at times I recognize that look and that slow walk so well. If you’ve never dealt with anxiety you can’t really understand but it’s like your body feels rigid and you have to almost force it not to shut down. (At my worst anxiety moments I’d be almost unable to move or even open my mouth to talk. I’ve had people think I’m having a seizure or something but really it’s just an anxiety episode)

                        In the cage when the fight started she looked frozen. Reminded me of when I was an athlete. In big moments my legs felt like they weighed 100’pounds each.

                        I mean I could be totally wrong but this is just what it looked like to me. Felt a little bad for her, hopefully she got a nice pay check and was able to learn from the experience.

                        I don't want to play armchair psychologist, but its possible the moment didn't hit her until she got into the building. All the stuff championship obligations and the fanfare that comes with it, press, etc. Is that her first time doing a walk coming into the building? My guess its her first, and I think she wanted to be careful for the camera to capture her and her team instead of waltzing through a little bit.

                            Nothing would have changed the outcome but maybe she would have been able to show a little bit of her game if she wasn’t affected by the pressure of the moment as much. I’ve seen a lot of recent clips of her in training and she is undoubtedly a legit fighter, a lot better than what she showed.

                            Overall though I’m not debating you or anything, Nunes would have beat her even if Anderson was on her best day and Nunes on was on her worst

                                          It was over before it started. She looked like Jar Jar Binks when he was stumbling around in Attack of the Clones. There was no justification for matching her up against Nunes - except that she was a natural 145 pounder, which is why she was brought in.

                                          Her first fight in the UFC was against Holly Holm, in which she lost decisively but survived. Then against Zingano, which ended after an eye injury at the one minute mark but gave her a W. Then she is submitted in the first round by Felicia Spencer. I believe that Spencer was given to her with the assumption she would win and that it could be used as justification for a title shot against Amanda. This situation was rectified by giving her two back to back victories against fighters fighting in the UFC for the first time, neither of whom have a wiki page.

                                                  There's a loose schedule of about half an hour for a fight, with extra time for the title fights of course. Fights end early and they fill time with promo videos for the later fights still to come and upcoming events, along with some good desk chatter. The UFC only really speeds up pacing after KOs on DWTNCS, Fight pass/ESPN+ exclusives, or early prelims where they don't really have any commercials to play and the commercials are the real reason they pace the show the way they do.

She was the division, with out the win it’s gone and over for quite a few female fighters -all of whom looking at new promotions now because of her loss.
