Everyone returning to Call Of Duty For Black Ops 6 after they said they were “done with Call Of Duty” 😂

lol exactly. These people act as if ranked hasn’t been a thing for years. They’re basically just saying to play ranked. People have always been able to play people of their same skill. That has existed for more than 15 years.

Confirmed: Kameos will be always be required. No 1 vs 1 modes.

I mean, I guess. I'm just not feeling the whole there being yet one more thing you have to take into account. Like stuff like this is why more people aren't into these games. SF saw that and did something about it. This just feels like they're making something even more complicated. I don't know a single person irl that played MK11 that actually liked that annoying tower assist stuff. And then they go and make an entire game around that. Ugh. I was so excited to see this game revealed and this kameo stuff just threw water all over the little fire I had burning. I was going to try out stick and everything! I guess I can just hope they don't screw up Tekken. Damn it, I really wanted to like this game. I've hated tag stuff ever since I played the first Tekken Tag.

I get what you're saying, but everyone's brain doesn't work like that. It's jarring and will break flow state and make things even harder to understand for people that aren't already familiar with fighting games. This just seems like something that will scare away a lot of people (including me).

No, it's because people have played a 1v1 game for the past 11 games basically and now it's a 1.5v1.5 game. This isn't new. We've known since Tekken Tag that not everybody fs with tag style games. I love DBZ and wanted to play a fighting game but I'm not playing a tag fighting game because I simply don't like them. Same way not everybody likes extraction shooters or hyper realistic games. Fighting games are already niche and complicated, they're just adding onto that. SF had a much better idea to actually get MORE people to play their game rather than the same hardcore fans that continue to dwindle. Big bump at release and then concurrent players drop off a cliff. Why they thought making a game around something a lot of people hated in the towers was a good idea, is beyond me.

“Am i the only one who doesn’t like the Kameos?”

I'm saying! Like if you like tag stuff, cool, a lot of people don't. I love Tekken, I HATED Tekken Tag. That game was the reason I refuse to buy any fighter with a tag system. This feels like another forced tag game but half-assed. No thank you. Just let me 1v1. I hated the tag stuff in the towers in MK11 and I'm not a fan of it now. Having to do those towers with the forced assists was the main reason I stopped playing MK11. I learned my lesson. I think I'll wait for T8 and see what's popping with that.

I don't understand why people are saying Kameos stop this game from being a true 1v1.

Replace immersion with flow state since you people just have such an issue with people using the word immersion as if MK is the only GAME people use that word with. It's used consistently with FPS games and you don't see you little nitpickers moaning about that. Like you people look hella pathetic. You're just picking an argument because you don't like that this person doesn't agree with you.

Lol, exactly. Out of any community that you would think would realize this, it would be the fighting game community. These games are already niche, and then you're just pushing more people away. Okay, enjoy the last few games because there probably won't be anymore if the game doesn't do well. They love to gatekeep these games but they're not the ones funding the companies, the people they don't like (casuals) are. They hate on SF6 for appealing to more people. So, it's a bad thing that more people are playing the game? Then they get butthurt that they can't find matches online. Who's fault is that? You pushed most of the people interested in playing it away!

Something I have never understood about FPS games that XDefiant now fails at too

No. Ironsight feels like playing a mobile game with a mouse. Xdefiant has that same kind of feel.

In my opinion, controller aiming needs a complete rework.

I use kbam and it has the same issue. It feels jittery and clunky and like he said "playing a mobile game". This game does not feel like a PC game when I play it. It feels like I'm playing an old game on an emulator or something.

Come on, it's Urijah Hall lol. Let's be real. No one is placing bets on dude. You never know who's going to show up to fight when that dude steps in the cage. Could be a savage, could be a timid little kid. Who knows!?

Alex did exactly what we thought he was going to do. That fight surprised absolutely no one.

Lol, Strickland and technique? Bwhahahahah!!!! Good one.

Lol, I agree partially. The 2006 one was pretty okay for a B-movie style with an A movie budget. Definitely not good, but it's one of those I could put on and halfway pay attention to and not be too bothered by.

Sean Strickland talks so much shit only to fight like this.

Slip_On_Fluids
commented

Lol, seems like every Strickland fan is delusional. They'll argue all day long about how he's so good and this and that and when he faces actual elite fighters, he gets starched. Alex was the only elite fighter dude has fought in the UFC. Jared and Jack are good, but not elite. The same thing that happened against Alex, would happen against Izzy or Whittaker. Dude just has too many holes and his game isn't diverse at all. That works against guys that don't have an answer for that, but that's not going to work against guys that will bait him into those slips and jabs and crack him for falling for it.

Cabin In The Woods - What monster would you rather have seen chosen instead of the Zombie Family?

Slip_On_Fluids
commented

The choice of zombies took like 3 stars away from the film for me. Out of all of the actual interesting monsters, literally the most boring and overused trope was used. I rolled my eyes so damn hard when zombies were picked. Like seriously? I thought I was one of the few people that had that issue with the film for a long time. This is the number one reason I've not really cared to watch it again. In them trying to be meta or whatever, they made the film as boring as I felt it could have been given how actually good it was otherwise. I can watch Scream for actual interesting meta horror. There are a thousand zombie movies I can watch and them picking zombies as the main villains just made it another zombie movie.

Lol, use your rumor to command me Allison. No one is making you reply lol. You just want the last word to feel like you won because you're exactly like I said you were. Point proven. The irony. Tried to tell the other guy what they could do just like you're doing now. Can't help it huh?

You seem to be a whole lot like Allison lol. You think you can tell people what they're allowed to say, whether to be hypocritical or not, how they should interpret your confrontational tone. Funny how the biggest hypocrites are the ones that don't see that they are one. Also, because I know the first thing you're going to say is some "ism" or "ist", Viktor was one of my favorite characters and Elliot is one of my favorite actors, so please don't come with that copy and paste bs.

how did you think zero build affected the popularity of fortnite?

Slip_On_Fluids
commented

Right? I've got to give it to Epic though, they found a way to completely negate people having zero situational awareness. I've seen my younger family members who could build like crazy on FN get absolutely dumpstered on other FPS games. Not because of their shooting ability, but because they were so used to just being able to take stupid routes and leave themselves completely exposed because they didn't have to actually think about positioning and whatnot. Positioning for a circle everyone can see coming is a lot different than positioning in a normal FPS game. People don't rotate in any other BR like they rotate in FN build because they know they can't just insta cover in the middle of nowhere.

Slip_On_Fluids
replied to tetron4

You're giving these people way too much credit lol. Most of the time, it's because they got caught out with no awareness and used the building as a crutch to make up for their lack of situational awareness. There's a reason this game was never looked at seriously, even in it's prime.

As a 'Zero Build' player this player count surprised me..

Exactly. I used to be able to build super well. But I got tired of having to do it in every damn engagement I got into. I come from a Battlefield (since BC2) and COD (since MW1) background so I like to actually shoot my guns in a game where I have a gun. I was finding that I was doing way more building and gathering materials than I was actually shooting at people. That wasn't fun for me so I moved back to other games. A lot of these people that are super good at building and whatnot, are trash in games where they can't make cover out of nothing. I've got family members that were super good at building and editing and the second you put them into a COD lobby, they got dumpstered HARD. Building skill doesn't translate to anything outside of Fortnite. Guess what did transfer for me though, my accuracy. I murk people in ZB because it requires actual skills that other shooters require.
