Car model advice and general buying discussion.

This is a GOOD fucking question because I'm still livid over a car I bought last week. It was in another state and we did all the haggling and finance stuff over the phone a week prior to me coming to the dealer, and they still made me wait 4 hours before finally signing the paperwork. Literally nothing else needed to be discussed or negotiated. All they needed to do was print the shit out and have me sign it. I actually got a good deal on my car, but this bullshit left a BAD taste in my mouth and I still thinking about leaving a bad review for the dealer. If I can help it, I am never buying from a dealer again. Terrible experience.

The most controversial post on this subreddit of all time …

I was always willing to give him another shot. Our OC sucked. Our O line sucked. He was playing hurt and it was his first year with a new team since he entered the league. He certainly could have played better early on, but we had several problems and he was definitely not the only one to blame. I found it so silly people were immediately calling for his head. I think those people should be found and shamed.

Sources to me and @RapSheet: The #Dolphins are placing QB Tua Tagovailoa on injured reserve in order to give him ample time to progress through the stages of concussion protocol and meet with outside neurologists.

Nope! What's bad for the offense is bad for the offense. They still need a competent QB to convert 3rd downs and move the ball down the field. Achane is incredibly talented, but also not very durable. They can't lean on him as a workhorse, especially if teams know all they can do is run the ball.

Someone tell me I'm reading this right. Almost 10k in fees???

Replying to this so it's visible: Just FYI anyone trying to buy a car, the only fees you are legally required to pay are non tax fees, which are the actual DMV registration fees, and are typically no more than $200-300 for a regular car, if that. Any document, processing, dealer, protection, warranty, vin etching, lojack, etc. fees are optional or negotiable.

Yyyyep. I said this in another comment here, but it's not the parts that will kill you. It's she shop charge for labor (and they will over charge you for the parts, too). My BMW takes the same type of oil as my Mazda. General maintenance is basically the same cost as any other car if you DIY. Oh, and also NEVER bring it to the stealership for general maintenance. If you must, find a reputable independent shop.
