Got it wrong should have written 1200miles x 2500miles I been doing it 20 odd years now with dirt cheap oil and filter.20euro for a gallon oil and about 8 for a filter -my bad
This is so bizarre. You initially stated that you changed your oil at an incredibly log interval and now you say that you change it a stupidly short interval? Changing oil at 1200 miles is wasteful no matter how cheap the oil is. At your claimed 460k kilometers, you have changed your oil 230 times!?!? As a comparison, I had a Lexus that had close to 500k kilometers, and I've changed the oil on that car about 40 times.
