Honorifics, Titles, etc.

Honorfics and Titles comparable to “Mr.” or “Ms.”/“Mrs.”, but made with nonbinary, genderqueer and gender non-conforming individuals in mind.

  • De/Dᵉ: A neutral, otherly honorific . Pronounced “Done”.
  • Ind.: A non-gendered title meaning “individual”.
  • Lwss: A way to address someone who is between Male and neutral; Neutromme. Based off the term “Lyss”.
  • Lyss: A way to address someone who is between Female and neutral; Neutremme. Based off the term “Lass”
  • Mre.: A neutral honorific. Pronounced “Mistree”.
  • Mir: A blend of the honorifics Miss and Mr/ Sir and Madam. Pronounced “Mer”.
  • Misc.: A title derived from the Latin word miscellus, meaning “mixed”, for Nonbinary people whose have aspects of various genders at various times.
  • Ml: A neutral, otherly honorific. Pronounced “Misla”.
  • Mn.: A neoneutral honorific. Pronounced “Mixen”.
  • Mrx: A neutral, xenine, otherine honorific. Pronounced “Mirx”.
  • Msr: A blend of “Miss” and “Mister”. Pronounced “Misser”.
  • Mt: A young Mx; demineutral. Pronounced as “Mixt” or ”Mistix”.
  • Mv.: A title that can be used to refer to a Maverique person.
  • Mx.: A gender-neutral title.
  • Mz./Mzz.: a title for unknown and defined gender. Pronounced “Miz”.
  • Mzr.: A variation of Msr. Pronounced “Mizzer”.

Terminology Describing Categorization of Gender Identities

Terms in this category are focused upon the categorization of gender by it’s qualities and it’s relationship to the Gender Binary.

  • Abinary: Sitting at a comfortable distance from the binarity; nonbinary genders that does not reference the binary; identities/experiences existing outside of the gender binary and not having anything to do with it. Also called Offbinary and Exterbinary.
  • Agingender: An umbrella term for all genders that are genderless in nature.
  • Agiaspec: Describing anyone on the “genderless” spectrum; it includes anyone who does not have a gender, only partly or sometimes has a gender, whose gender is un/nonaligned (including folks with genders belonging to other viagender spectra), or whose gender is in some way similar to/resembling of genderlessness.
  • Aiaspec: Describing anyone on the “aporagendered” spectrum; it includes all aporagenders, partial aporagenders, apora-aligned and adjacent genders, aporaflux, and genders which are in some way similar to/resemblant of aporinity.
  • Aingender: An umbrella term for all genders that are aporine in nature.
  • Anonbinary: A gender that definitely isn’t binary, but is still even outside of nonbinary.
  • Apisgender: Abinary genderedness.
  • Aporagender: An umbrella term for genders that are separate from Male, Female and any androgyne gender, while still having a very strong and specific gendered feeling.
  • Auingender: An umbrella term for all gender that are autonomous in nature.
  • Binarism: The classification of genderinto two distinct, opposite forms of masculine and feminine, whether by social system or cultural belief.
  • Eligender: Other genderedness.
  • Epigender: Nonbinary genderedness.
  • Epingender: An umbrella term for all genders that are epicene in nature.
  • Etcegender: Anonbinary genderedness.
  • Exorgender: Referring to binary gender.
  • Femai: A term for genders connected to or related to womanhood.
  • Fiaspec: Describing anyone on the “female” viabinary-to-binary spectrum; anyone whose gender is female/wifgender, partly wifgender (but not partly miagender), wifgender-aligned or adjacent, wifgenderflux, or is in some way similar to/resemblant of wifgenderness (without them necessarily being feminine or Fingender).
  • Fingender: An umbrella term for all genders that are feminine in nature.
  • Flingender: An umbrella term for all genders that are fluix in nature (FLIN).
  • Genderqueer: Describing non-normative, queer gender.
  • Idingender: An umbrella term for all gender that are fluid in nature (IDIN).  
  • Liaspec: Describing anyone whose gender fits on both the fia- and mia- spectrums; anyone with a mesogender (without them necessarily being androgynous or Lingendered.
  • Lingender: An umbrella term for all genders that are androgynous in nature.
  • Maloi: A term for genders connected to or related to manhood.
  • Miaspec: Describing anyone on the “male” viabinary-to-binary spectrum; anyone whose gender is male/wergender, partly wergender (but not partly fiagender), wergender-aligned or adjacent, wergenderflux, or is in some way similar to/resembling of wergenderness (without them necessarily being masculine or Mingendered).
  • Midbinary: nonbinary identities/experiences associated to gender binary; genders (un)related incompletely to the binarity (as opposed to abinary, exterbinary or offbinary); sitting on top of the binary but not necessarily in it; existing within the context of the gender binary but are not strictly one or the other. Also called Endobinary.
  • Mingender: An umbrella term for all genders that are masculine in nature.
  • Niaspec: Describing anyone on the “neutrally gendered” spectrum; anyone whose gender is neutral, partly neutral, neutral-aligned or adjacent, neutralflux, or in some way similar to/resembling of gender neutrality.
  • Nilagender: Nullary/Anary genderedness.
  • Ningender: An umbrella term for all genders that are neutral in nature.
  • Nonbinary: An umbrella term to describe any gender that is not entirety and completely Male or Female.
  • Oingender: An umbrella term for all genders that are otherine in nature.
  • Outherinity: Qualities of gender unrelated to masculinity, femininity, androgyny, neutrality or genderlessness. Otherine genders may be derived from these concepts, but are inherently unique from them.
  • Uingender: An umbrella term for all genders that are unquantifiable in nature.
  • Uxingender: An umbrella term for all genders that are flux in nature (UXIN).
  • Wergender: Being a male, man, boy or guy.
  • Wer(w)ifgender: Referring to being male-female, wer(w)ifman, girl-boy, gal-guy
  • Wifgender: Being a female, woman, girl or gal.
  • Xenic: Referring to genders that can only be defined and described in terms of nouns, archetypes, concepts and sensations as opposed to traditional binary and non-binary concepts of gender, like femininity, masculinity or any concept that references the binary in any way, shape or form. These genders cannot be described using traditional terminology.
  • Xeninity: Relating to qualities or attributes regarded as characteristics of xenicity.
  • Xiaspec: Describing anyone on the “xenogendered” spectrum; it includes all xenogenders, partial xenogenders, xeno-aligned and adjacent genders, xenoflux, and genders which are in some way similar to/resembling of xeninity.
  • Xingender: An umbrella term for all gender that is xenine in nature.
  • Xorgender: Referring to binary gender(s).

Terms Referencing the Gender Spectrum

Terms in the category cannot be defined without referring to the Gender Spectrum, including the Gender Binary.

  • Binaryprox: A gender that is very near to the Male/Female Gender Binary, but not strictly Male and/or Female. A Binaryprox individual identifies with certain aspects of Maleness and/or Femaleness, but not all aspects.
  • Diagender: A singular gender identity that can be described as a line made through the gender spectrum. Genders that exist upon or very closely to this lie are represented in one’s gender identity, whereas gender that exist further form this hypothetical line are less represented. This gender has qualities of multiple/many genders, but not all. An experience that is not entirely within the (non)binary spectrum, making it difficult to locate, classify or describe.
  • Entitygender: A gender that simply exists independently from the concept of a gender binary. A vacant, non-restrictive and flexible gender.
  • Metagender: To identify around or beyond a gender. Where your gender identity is almost that gender, but not quite, and also extends beyond that.
  • Perigender: to identity near or around a gender.
  • Skoliogender: A gender which is almost recognizable, but is just slightly off; a gender which approaches a recognizable gender, before sharply veering off.
  • Tragender: A gender that encompasses the entire gender spectrum.
  • Quoibinary: Finding the concept of the gender binary to be confusing, inaccessible, or inapplicable to oneself.

Terms For Feelings and Experiences Relating to Gender Identity and Expression

A variety of terms for discussing attitudes surrounding gender identity and expression.

  • Anongender: A gender that is unknown to others, as well as yourself.
  • Apothigender: A term to express repulsion to at the concept of gender or a specific gender or genders.
  • Bijoumme: Describing a femininely presenting Achillean/Cincian or Azurian individual who does not experience gender femininity.
  • Coexta: A term to describe a vague, inconsistent relationship with gender. This can encompass feeling like gender does not apply to the individual, or that their gender is indescribable. A Coexta is never strongly aligned in anyways. A Coexta may or may not be genderless.
  • Contreogender: An individual who believes that society’s attitudes surrounding gender and gender roles are harmful, and that gender should not be regarded as important.
  • Decligender: Being repulsed by the concept of gender in a general sense.
  • Dubgender: A term used to indicate doubt that a given existing gender label will be entirely accurate for self-description.
  • Gyneurnimasculine: Describing a Sapphic individual that is transitioning towards masculinity in some way as part of their gender expression and/or identity without being Male in any way, shape or form. Also called Gyneurnimasc.
  • Furotium: Referring to a transgender individual whose presentation and/or identity is tied to being non-dysphoric. It is nonconforming for a Furotium individual to express anger and defiance of the cisheteropatriarchy and transphobic rhetoric.
  • Futchfluid: A change in presentation from butch to futch to femme, and so forth.
  • Gendereaux: A feeling of being detached from the concept of gender, but simultaneously identifying with or encompassing many nonbinary experiences or identities.
  • Genderfree: Undefined gender basis in which gender is not present; when gender is insignificant or irrelevant to the individual, but is still definitively queer.
  • Genderfuck: Subverting traditional gender binary by mixing or bending one’s gender expression, identity, or presentation; A colloquial term for culture and resistance against gendernormativity. Also called Genderpunk.
  • Hathosgender: A transgender/nonbinary person who derives euphoria from the complete rejection of the gender binary. Can be used with a specific gender or genders.
  • Inter(sex)-aligned: A nonbinary alignment (Ex: masculine/male aligned, femminine/female aligned, & unaligned) meant for intersex enbies who are, rather than masc/fem aligned, are aligned with their intersex identity.
  • Integender: A term exclusively for intersex people who feel that their gender identity, whatever it may be, is intrinsically tied to being intersex.
  • Lacunox: A term to describe when one fully knows their gender, but feels as though existing terminology cannot adequately describe it. Because of this, they may use many terms to describe themselves and/or use broad terminology; questioning language/terminology, but not one’s gender.
  • Laetium: Referring to a transgender individual whose presentation and/or identity is tied to them being non-dysphoric. It is nonconforming for a Laetium individual to express excited, joy and acceptance of their identity and themselves.
  • Lesboi: An admasculine, Sapphic individual. Also called Saphboi.
  • Licentium: Referring to a transgender individual whose presentation and/or identity is tied to them being non-dysphoric. It is nonconforming for a Licetium individual to express confusion about their gender or engage in genderfuckery.
  • Molebug: The opposite of gender; identifying with unreality, disconnection from humanity and an attachment to an intense, surreal alien-like sense of self.
  • Nonbinary Kao: A nonbinary individual who fully identifies as nonbianry, but do not mind presenting as the gender they were assigned.
  • Peach Femme: An aesthetic term for femme lesbians who highlight and accentuate their body and facial hair as part of their femme presentation.
  • Post-ium: Having a connection to your Assigned Gender At Birth simply by virtue of it being your AGAB, regardless of gender identity/expression.
  • Postalium: Having a connection to being Intersex simply by virtue of it being one’s gender assignment, regardless of gender identity/expression.
  • Postertium: Have a connection to being Third Gender simply by virtue of it being one’s gender assignment, regardless of gender identity/expression.
  • Postfeminium: Having a connection to being Female simply by virtue of it being one’s gender assignment, regardless of gender/identity expression.
  • Postmascuium: Having a connection to be Male simply by virtue of it being one’s gender assignment, regardless of gender identity/expression.
  • Pregender: A feeling that one’s gender is growing into, but not quite yet at, a particular gender.
  • Quoigender: Uncertainty, confusion, frustration and/or a lack of identification with current notions of gender.
  • Resbis: A person who feels regularly conflicted by and is trying to reconcile with their gender identity or has in the past. This term is exclusive to intersex people.
  • Solverigender: Having a loose or weak connection to a gender or certain qualities, but not actually being that gender. Also called “Emigender”.
  • Telegender: A gender that one has but is disconnected and/or distance from in some way.
  • Viralgender: A gender that has to do with infecting/destroying the gender binary/gender roles. Reclaims the idea of transness as an illness/disease.

Pallet System

A system used to describe nonbinary presentation.

  • Cerul: Nonbinary individuals that present in a traditionally feminine way.
  • Cinnab: Nonbinary individuals whose presentation has traditionally masculine and androgynous features.
  • Fuchs: Nonbinary individuals whose presentation has traditionally masculine and feminine (but not androgynous) features; distinct from Pewt.
  • Indig: Nonbinary individuals whose presentation has traditionally masculine, feminine and androgynous features.
  • Laven: Nonbinary individuals whose presentation has traditionally feminine and androgynous features.
  • Pewt: Nonbinary individuals who presentation is traditionally androgynous; distinct from Fuchs.
  • Vermil: Nonbinary individuals that present in a traditionally masculine way.
  • Virid: Nonbinary individuals that present in a way that reject binary descriptions entirely.

Floral System

A system that describes the relationship between nonbinary gender and gender expression as being integral to one’s identity.

  • Amaranthian: A nonbinary person who expresses their gender in a xenine way, and that expression is very important to their identity.
  • Azalean: A nonbinary person who expresses their gender femininely, and that expression is very important to their identity. Does not have to be lunarian / femininely aligned.
  • Carnatian: A nonbinary person who expresses their gender masculinely, and that expression is very important to their identity. Does not have to be solarian / masculinely aligned.
  • Heatherian: A nonbinary person who expresses their gender both masculinely and neither, either at the different times or all at once, and that expression is very important to their identity.
  • Lavenderian: A nonbinary person who refuses to express their gender masculinely or femininely, and that expression is very important to their identity. May just want to confuse people with their presentation. Does not have to be stellarian / unaligned.
  • Magnolian: A nonbinary person who expresses their gender both femininely and neither, either at the different times or all at once, and that expression is very important to their identity.
  • Myosotian: A nonbinary person who expresses their gender in a feminine and xenine way, and that expression is very important to their identity.
  • Rosarian: A nonbinary person who expresses their gender both femininely and masculinely, either at the different times or all at once, and that expression is very important to their identity.
  • Viscarian: A nonbinary person who expresses their gender in a masculine and xenine way, and that expression is very important to their identity.
  • Wisterian: A nonbinary person who expresses their gender both femininely, masculinely, and neither, either at the different times or all at once, and that expression is very important to their identity.

Nec/Gec/Gen/Formare System

A system made to describe the union of gender and gender non-conformity.

  • Feminec: A Male gender that is deeply tied to one’s feminine gender nonconformity; a Male gender in which one’s feminine gender nonconformity is part of their gender iteself.
  • Neutranec: A Male gender that is deeply tied to one’s neutrals gender nonconformity; a Male gender in which one’s neutral gender nonconformity is part of their gender itself.
  • Formarenec: A Male gender that is deeply tied to one’s gender nonconformity;  a Male gender in which one’s gender nonconformity is part of their gender itself.
  • Formarenecflux: A fluctuating Male gender that is deeply tied to one’s gender nonconformity, whether their nonconformity is feminine or neutral; a fluctuating Male gender in which one’s gender nonconformity is part of their gender itself. One may fluctuate between gender nonconforming and gender conforming.
  • Neutragen: A Female gender that is deeply tied to one’s neutral gender nonconformity; A Female gender in which one’s gender nonconformity is part of their gender itself.
  • Formaregen: A Female gender that is deeply tied to one’s gender nonconformity; A Female gender in which one’s gender nonconformity is part of their gender itself.
  • Formaregenflux: A fluctuating Female gender that is deeply tied to one’s gender nonconformity, whether their nonconformity is masculine or neutral; a fluctuating Female gender in which one’s gender nonconformity is part of their gender itself. One may fluctuate between gender nonconforming and gender conforming.
  • Femigec: A Neutral gender that is deeply tied to one’s feminine gender nonconformity; a Neutral gender in which one’s gender nonconformity is part of their gender itself.
  • Mascugec: A Neutral gender that is deeply tied to one’s masculine gender nonconformity; a Neutral gender in which one’s gender nonconformity is part of their gender itself.
  • Formaregec: A Neutral gender that is deeply tied to one’s gender nonconformity; a Neutral gender in which one’s gender nonconformity is part of their gender itself.
  • Formaregecflux: A fluctuating Neutral gender that is deeply tied to one’s gender nonconformity, whether their nonconformity is masculine or feminine; a fluctuating Neutral gender in which one’s gender nonconformity is part of their gender itself. One may fluctuate between gender nonconforming and gender conforming.

Demigender Spectrum

Terms relating to partial genderedness.

  • Demigender: A umbrella term for nonbinary gender identities that have a partial connection to a certain gender.
  • Dodransgender: A subset of demigender where one’s identity feels exactly three-fourths one gender and exactly one-fourth another.
  • Engender: Being, largely, of a certain gender.
  • Hemigender: A subset of demigender where one’s identity feels exactly half one gender and exactly half another gender.
  • Magigender: A subset of demigender where one’s identity is mostly one gender and only slightly as another.
  • Mosaigeder: A type of demigender where one’s identity feels composed of pieces or fractions of many genders and feelings.
  • Nanogender: A type of demigender where one’s identity is only very slightly one gender and mostly something else.
  • Neutrogender: Being mostly Neutrois with a slight connection to another gender.
  • Quartergender: A subset of demigender where one’s gender identity is ¼th one gender and ¾ths something else.
  • Subgender: A gender experience that encompasses some, but not all of, the element of a given gender; being blow the threshold for having a particular gender.
  • Themisgender: A gender that is primarily one gender, but has a partial connection to another without being genderless. The usage of this term places emphasis on the partial connection.

Idingender, Uxingender, Flingenders and Other Genders That Vary Over Time

Terms describing fluctuating genders, fluix genders and fluid genders.

  • Alexigender: A gender that is fluid between more than one gender, but the individual cannot tell what those genders are.
  • Amplusian: A gender better describes as a lenient, non-strict identity, or when your gender is very wide, varied and miscellaneous; the polar opposite of suptilian. This gender is neither static, solid or stable. Also called amplusgender.
  • Aneuflux: A gender that fluctuates between being genderlessness and unaligned nonbinary gender.
  • Anvisidin: Describing apathy with regards to whether one’s gender is fluid or stable.
  • Anvisuxin: Describing apathy with regards to whether one’s gender is flux or still.
  • Apisfluid: A fluid gender identity that only encompasses abinary identities.
  • Augender: A fluid gender that is always growing and incorporating new traits and qualities from other gender; similar to Plugender, but exists in a state of action and/pr growth.
  • Axigender: A fluid gender experience consisting of two genders, one of which is Agender, that includes no overlapping and a very short transition time.
  • Binaryfluid: A gender that is fluid between both Male and Female and/or does not having stark boundary between the two; flowing between both binary genders freely.
  • Blurifluid: A gender which is so vague and blurred that you can’t figure out specifics, only that it is genderfluid.
  • Blurifluix: A gender which is so vague and blurred that you can’t figure out specifics, only that it is genderfluix.
  • Bluriflux: A gender which is so vague and blurred that you can’t figure out specifics, on that it is genderflux.
  • Cendgender: A fluid gender that switches between a given gender and it’s antigender.
  • Certfluid: A gender that is always fluid between the same genders.
  • Conflinuso: Describing confusion with regards to whether one’s gender is fluix or stable-still.
  • Confusanvisidin: Describing apathy and confusion with regards to whether one’s gender is fluid or stable.
  • Confusanvisuxin: Describing apathy and confusion with regards to whether one’s gender is flux or still.
  • Confusidin: Describing confusion with regards to whether one’s gender is fluid or stable.
  • Confusuxin: Describing confusion with regards to whether one’s gender is flux or still.
  • Connumgender: A gender that is fluid between multiple neutral genders or other gender identities of a given alignment, but is never a singular gender.
  • Demifluid: A gender that is fluid between demigenders.
  • Demiflux: A gender that is partially fluid and partially static.
  • Diastimian: When your gender intensity is firmly fixed; opposite of genderflux.
  • Elissogender: A term used to describe a gender which vaguely moves around with no direction.
  • Endogender: Having a fluid and/or fluctuating gender, but always being at least partially aligned to a given gender or gender(s). Can be used as Endogirl, Endoagender, Endoambigender, etc.
  • Femmefluid: A fluid gender that mostly or only feminine genders. Also called Venufluid.
  • Flinavis: Describing apathy with regards to whether one’s gender is fluix or stable-still.
  • Flinflexible: Being predominately genderfluix, but being flexible or somehow diverging from this identity.
  • Fluktuaz: An identity to describe when one’s gender is static, but one’s connections to the genders with which they identify with is fluid and/or flux.
  • Fractigender: A gender identity characterized by different genders with varying intensities that are still somehow connected through expression, interpretation and/or simultaneous experience.
  • Frythen: A nonbinary gender that switches between androgyny, masculinity and femininity.
  • Genderfluid: Having a fluid gender; a gender identity that varies over time.
  • Genderflux: Having a gender identity with fluctuating intensity; a gender that varies in intensity over time.
  • Genderspike: When one is usually of a particular gender, but occasionally changes, always returning to their usual genderedness.
  • Iactogender: A type of genderfluidity that, rather than fluctuating between genders, one fluctuates between their connection to femininity, masculinity and androgyny.
  • Idinflexible: Being predominately genderfluid, but being flexible or somehow diverging from this identity.
  • Juxefluix: Being fluid and/or flux between agender woman, nonbinary woman and, rarely, binary Female.
  • Kymenian: Consistent gender; opposite of genderfluid.
  • Lofluid: A fluid gender that is fluid between genderfluid identities.
  • Mascufluid: A fluid gender that mostly or only masculine genders. Also called Marsfluid.
  • Maeflux: A gender that fluctuates between genderlessness and Anonbinary gender.
  • Mesofluid: A fluid gender fluctuates between both binary genders and/or there is no stark boundary between each one; flowing between girl and boy
  • Mesoflux: When one feels mostly or entirely binary the majority of the time, but experiences fluctuating intensities of binary identity. This can be fluid with any other identity.
  • Mezclaby: An umbrella term to describe a blend of two or more abinary genders; a multigender describing the result of at least one abinary gender mixing with one or more abinary genders.
  • Mezclandrogynous: An umbrella term to describe a blend of two or more androgynous genders; a multigender describing the result of at least one androgynous gender mixing with one or more androgynous genders.
  • Mezclafeminine: An umbrella term to describe a blend of two or more genders; a multigender describing the result of at least one feminine gender mixing with one or more feminine genders.
  • Mezclagender: An umbrella term to describe a blend of two or more genders; a multigender describing the result of at least one gender mixing with one or more other genders.
  • Mezclamasculine: An umbrella term to describe a blend of two or more genders; a multigender describing the result of at least one masculine gender mixing with one or more masculine genders.
  • Mezclamidaby: An umbrella term to describe a blend of two or more midabinary genders; a multigender describing the result of at least one midabinary gender mixing with one or more midbinary genders.
  • Mezclamidby: An umbrella term to describe a blend of two or more midbinary genders; a multigender describing the result of at least one midbinary gender mixing with one or more midbinary genders.
  • Mezclaneutral: An umbrella term to describe a blend of two or more genders; a multigender describing the result of at least one neutral gender mixing with one or more neutral genders.
  • Mezclanonbinary: An umbrella term to describe a blend of two or more nonbinary genders; a multigender describing the result of at least one nonbinary gender mixing with one or more nonbinary genders.
  • Mutare: A type of genderfluidity where you are never the same gender twice; a constantly changing and evolving gender. Also called Hengender.
  • Nixefluix: Being fluid and/or flux between agender man, nonbinary man and, rarely, binary Male.
  • Nobifluid: A fluid gender that mostly or only androgynous genders. Also called Eafluid.
  • Pangenderflux: A gender that is fluid between genderlessness and being omni-aligned.
  • Polinumgender: A fluid polygender identity where one experiences multiple genders, but the amount of genders one experiences is constantly in motion.
  • Polywave: Having multiple gender identities that vary in intensity over time.
  • Queerfluid: A fluid gender identity that only travels between nonbinary genders, never Male or Female.
  • Quivergender: When your gender fluctuates or is fluid in such minute amounts that the label itself doesn’t change.
  • Scorpigender: A gender fluid between unknown genders.
  • Sorozgender: A type of gender fluidity where one cycles through a given set of gender identities in a particular order. When these genders are all Agingender, this is called Sorozagender.
  • Suptilian: Someone who is both diastimian and kymenian; gender that is neither fluid or flux.
  • Switchfluid: A type of gender fluidity where any individual is usually of a given gender, but it may “switch” off, leaving a “blank space” where this gender usually is. This blank space may be interpreted as an Agingender and/or Quoigender. Eventually, the gender will “switch” back on, and the individual will resume being their regular gender.
  • Tinegender: A fluid gender identity where changes are so minute that one’s overarching identity does not change. Also called Quivergender.
  • Transexpressive: An identity where one’s gender is static, but expression is fluid. Describes individuals who cannot accurately express themselves with presentation traditionally assigned to their gender.
  • Uxinflexible: Being predominately genderflux, but being flexible or somehow diverging from this identity.
  • Vibragender: A genderfluid identity that is mostly stable, but occasionally changes rapidly before stabilizing again.
  • Versandrogyne: A fluid, androgyne identity where one’s connection to masculinity and femininity fluctuates.

Genderfae/faun/firth/feor/flor System

A system used to describe genderfluid polygender/multigender and/or pangender/omnigender individuals.

  • Genderfae: A fluid gender that never encompasses being Male and/or masculine.
  • Genderfaer: A fluid gender that is never completely and entirely Male.
  • Genderfaun: A fluid gender that never encompasses being Female and/or feminine.
  • Genderfaunet: A fluid gender that is never completely and entirely Female.
  • Genderfeor: A fluid gender experience that exclusively encompasses xenogenders. Also called Genderfoan, Gendersylph and rarely, Genderfen.
  • Genderfrith: A fluid gender experience that never encompasses genders that are completely removed from masculinity or femininity.
  • Genderfirthen: A fluid gender experience that only includes masculine and feminine genders, but is never completely and entirely Male or Female.
  • Genderfirther: A fluid gender experience that includes only includes masculine and feminine genders, but is never completely and entirely Male.
  • Genderfirthet: A fluid gender experience that includes only masculine and feminine genders, but is never completely and entirely Female.
  • Genderflor: A fluid identity that never encompasses being Male or Female.
  • Genderfloren: A fluid gender that is never full Male or fully Female, but can be fully unaligned.
  • Genderflorer: A fluid gender that is never Female and/or feminine or fully Male, but can be fully unaligned.
  • Genderfloret: A fluid gender that is never Male and/or masculine or fully Female, but can be fully unaligned.

Binary Terms and Descriptors

Terminology used to describe binary transgender and intersex individuals.

  • Ipsogender: When an intersex person identifies as the gender they were medically assigned (Male or Female).
  • Neofemale: A term for binary transgender women who embrace their self-perceived sense of “otherness” when it comes to fitting in with cisgender women.
  • Neomale: A term for binary transgender men who embrace their self-perceived sense of “otherness” when it comes to fitting in with cisgender men.
  • Transgender Man: A man who was assigned Female at birth.
  • Transgender Women: A woman who was assigned Male at birth.

Fingenders and Other Terminology of Significant Femininity

Terms that describe gender that are Feminine in Nature (FIN) or otherwise significantly feminine.

  • Adfeminine: Transitioning towards femininity.
  • Blurigirl: A gender which is so vague and blurred that you can’t figure out specifics, only that it’s feminine.
  • Ceterogirl: A gender with specific feelings of femininity.
  • Demifeminine: An identity that is partially feminine, but not entirely so.
  • Efeminogender: An identity expressed through effeminacy or a gender tied to being effeminate.
  • Ellagyn: A gender with underlying femininity that has androgynous and feminine strata.
  • Erique: Having a partial connection to Womanhood.
  • Eratum: A gender that is partially Female and partially gender-neutral.
  • Femgender: A nonbinary gender that is feminine in nature (FIN); identifying with femininity without being explicitly Female. Also called “Fegender” and “Femmegender.
  • Finflexible: Being predominately fingender, but being flexible or somehow diverging from this identity.
  • Flexfingender: A flexible gender that is predominately feminine, but somehow diverge from gender femininity.
  • Girlflux: Being Female the majority of the time while experiencing varying degrees of Female identity, ranging from genderlessness to completely Female.
  • Gynx: A gender between Midgender and Female; A significantly feminine Androgyne.
  • Girlby: Being a nonbinary woman, either as a polygender/gendervast of nonbinary and female, as lunarian nonbinary woman or a multigirl with abinary genders.
  • Girlprox: A term to describe individuals who have a connection to femininity, have a connection to the Female gender regardless of actual identity, a sense of belonging in Women’s spaces, a feminine gender presentation, identifying with being AFAB if that is their designation, assigning significant value to female-coded life experiences and/or identifying or partially identifying as a Woman.
  • Gxrl: Being a genderless boy; being either simultaneously or fluidly agender and male-aligned.
  • Femil: A Female gender that has no alignment toward femininity, but instead has masculine and/or other nonfeminine alignment(s).
  • Feminenby: An umbrella term for gender that is at least nonbinary and feminine.
  • Femiritas: When your gender is indifferent, but you still want to be perceived as feminine.
  • Femproche: A gender expression that is feminine, despite a gender identity that is not. An identity where one’s feminine gender expression is an integral part of one’s queer experience. Can sometimes be used as a synonym for Juxera.
  • Fiagender: Anyone whose gender is Female, partly Female (but not partly miagender), or in some way similar to/resembling of Femaleness.
  • Intrafem: A gender which encompasses infinite, largely varied feelings of feminine gender; femaleness is the most important, expansive, constant part of them.
  • Juxera: A gender relative to Female, but is distinct from it. It does not lie outside of the Gender Spectrum. A term to describe gender that is immediately proximal to Female in the Gender Spectrum.
  • Neutremme: A gender in-between Female and Epicene; A significantly femininity epicene individual.
  • Neulier: A Female gender that is entirely neutral as opposed to feminine.
  • Nonpuella: Someone who is not Female at all in any way, shape, or form, but feels a strong connection to femininity within their gender.
  • Overfemme: Both encompassing and transcending femininity while not approaching masculinity.
  • Syndegirl: Being a girl, but feeling strongly associated with masculinity.
  • Transfeminine: transgender people who were assigned male at birth, but identify with femininity to a greater extent than with masculinity.
  • Xenogirl: Being a xenic woman, either as a polygender/gendervast of xenogender and female, as a lunarian xenic woman or a multigirl with xenic genders.
  • Xirl: Someone who identifies in some way as a nonbinary girl or nonbinary girl-adjacent, but wishes to distance themselves from the word “girl”.

Mingenders and Other Terminology of Significant Masculinity

Terms that describe gender that are Masculine in Nature (MIN) or otherwise significantly masculine.

  • Admasculine: Transitioning towards masculinity.
  • Androx: A gender between Midgender and Male; A significantly masculine Androgyne.
  • Beauboy: A transmasculine individual who has a connection to their perceived femininity but little to no connection to being Female.

  • Homproche: A gender expression that is masculine, despite a gender identity that is not. An identity where one’s masculine gender expression is an integral part of one’s queer experience. Can sometimes be used as a synonym to Proxvir.
  • Intramasc: A gender which encompasses infinite, largely varied feelings of masculine gender; maleness is the most important, expansive, constant part of them.
  • Manugender: A nonbinary gender that is masculine in nature (MIN); identifying with masculinity without being explicity Male. Also called “Mascgender” and “Mascugender”.
  • Masculenby: An umbrella term for gender that is at least nonbinary and masculine.
  • Mascuritas: When your gender is indifferent, but you still want to be perceived as masculine.
  • Melle: A Male gender that has no alignment toward masculinity, but instead has feminine and/or other nonmasculine alignment(s).
  • Miagender: Anyone whose gender is Male, partly Male (but not partly fiagender), or in some way similar to/resemblaning of Maleness.
  • Minflexible: Being predominately mingender, but being flexible or somehow diverging from this identity.
  • Neutromme: A gender in-between Male and Epicene.
  • Neumale: A single gender that is a mix of Male and Neutrois.
  • Neuvir: A Male gender that is entirely neutral as opposed to masculine.
  • Nonpuer: Someone who is not Male at all in any way, shape or form, but feels a strong connection to masculinity within their gender.
  • Overmasc: Both encompassing and transcending masculinity while not approaching femininity.
  • Pojkevän: A gentle and caring masculine gender identity that eschews toxic masculinity and is specifically characterized by love, protection and kindness.
  • Proxvir: A gender relative to Male, but is distinct from it. It does not lie outside of the Gender Spectrum. A term to describe gender that is immediately proximal to Male in the Gender Spectrum.
  • Syndeboy: Being a boy, but feeling strongly associated with femininity.
  • Transmasculine: Transgender people who were assigned female at birth, but identify with masculinity to a greater extent than with femininity.
  • Virangyn: A gender with underlying masculinity that has androgynous and masculine strata.
  • Viritum: A gender that is partially Male and Partially gender-neutral.
  • Virique: Having a partial connection to Manhood. Also called Viricum.
  • Xenoboy: Being a xenic man, either as a polygender/gendervast of xenogender and male, as a solarian xenic man or a multiboy with xenic genders.
  • Xoy: Someone who identifies in some way as a nonbinary boy or nonbinary boy-adjacent, but wishes to distance themselves from the word “boy”.

Lingenders and Other Genders of Significant Androgyny

Terms that describe gender that are Androgynous in Nature (LIN) or otherwise significantly androgynous.

  • Androgyne: Both an identity and umbrella term. A nonbinary individual who has an androgynous gender; an umbrella term used to describe genders between Male and Female.
  • Angiflux: Being Androgyne the majority of the time while experiencing varying degrees of Androgyne identity, ranging from genderlessness to completely Androgyne.
  • Bluriandrogynous: A gender which is so vague and blurred that you can’t figure out specifics, only that it’s androgynous.
  • Ceteroandrogynous: A nonbinary gender with specific feelings of androgyny.
  • Dudegal: Identifying as both masculine and feminine, but not explicitly male or female, either as a form of multigender, ambigender or vastgender. Also called galdude, galboy or dudegirl.
  • Duogender: Feeling that one’s gender is a combination of male and female as a result of being intersex. For use by intersex people only.
  • Flexlingender: A flexible gender that is predominately androgynous, but somehow diverge from gender androgyny.
  • Gynandrocuritas: When your gender is indifferent, but you still want to be perceived as androgynous.
  • Liagender: Anyone whose gender is both Fia- and Mia-; Anyone with a Mesogender (including Femache, Centrigender & Ambigender)
  • Linenby: An androgynously-aligned nonbinary individual.
  • Linflexible: Being predominately lingender, but being flexible or somehow diverging from this identity.
  • Linproche: A gender expression that is androgynous, despite a gender identity that is not. An identity where one’s androgynous gender expression is an integral part of one’s queer experience. Can sometimes be used as a synonym for Proxangi.
  • Midgender: An Androgyne gender that exists at the midpoint of Male and Female gender binary.
  • Neuangi: An androgynous gender that is entirely neutral as opposed to androgynous.
  • Neutrangi: A gender in-between Midgender and Epicene; A significantly epicene androgynous individual; a midbinary indeterminate, ambiguous gender.
  • Neutrangiflux: Being Neutrangi the majority of the time while experiencing varying degrees of Neutrangi identity, ranging from genderlessness to completely Neutrangi.
  • Nonpuerlla/Nonvirmina: Being neither Male or Female in any shape or form but feeling a strong connection to both masculinity and femininity within their gender.
  • Propegender: Varying between very feminine boy, very masculine girl and/or a gray area inbetween. The gender rarely strays too far towards either binary.
  • Proxangi: A gender relative to Midgender, but is distinct from it. It does not lie outside of the Gender Spectrum. A term to describe gender that is immediately proximal to Midgender in the Gender Spectrum.
  • Suprandrogyne: An experience that encompasses and exceeds being androgyne. Also called Superandrogyne.
  • Transdrogynous: A term used to describe transgender people identifying with androgyny to a greater extent than masculinity or femininity.
  • Xenangi: A xenic androgyne, either as a polygender/gendervast of xenogender and androgyne, as an eclipsian xenic androgyne or multiandrogynous with xenic genders.

Ningenders and Other Gender of Significant Neutrality

Terms that describe gender that are Neutral in Nature (NIN) or otherwise significantly neutral. This category includes both midbinary and abinary neutral genders.

  • Blurineutral:  A gender which is so vague and blurred that you can’t figure out specifics, only that it’s gender-neutral.
  • Cenrell: A gender identity located somewhere on the gender neutral spectrum that has strong ties to masculinity.
  • Censari: A gender identity located somewhere on the gender neutral spectrum that has strong ties to both masculinity and femininity.
  • Ceteroneutral: A nonbinary gender with specific feelings of gender neutrality.
  • Epicene: A Nonbinary gender that is characterized by a lack of masculine or feminine characteristics; an ‘unisex’ gender.
  • Epiceneflux: Being Epicene the majority of the time while experiencing varying degrees of Epicene identity, ranging from genderlessness to completely Epicene.
  • Faesari: A gender identity located somewhere on the gender neutral spectrum that has strong ties to femininity.
  • Flexningender: A flexible gender that is predominately neutral, but somehow diverges gender neutrality.
  • Juxtaneu: A gender relative to Epicene, but is distinct from it. It does not lie outside of the Gender Spectrum. A term to describe gender that is immediately proximal to Epicene in the Gender Spectrum.
  • Neucuritas: When your gender is indifferent, but you still want to be perceived as gender neutral.
  • Neuproche: A gender expression that is neutral, despite a gender identity that is not. An identity where one’s neutral gender expression is an integral part of one’s queer experience. Can sometimes be used as a synonym for Juxtaneu.
  • Neutrenby: A neutrally-aligned nonbinary individual.
  • Neutrois: An abinary gender that is neutral across all genders; a neuter gender.
  • Neutroisflux: Being Neutrois the majority of the time while experiencing varying degrees of Neutrois identity, ranging from genderlessness to completely Neutrois.
  • Neutroix: When one is Neutrois as a result of being Intersex.
  • Ninflexible: Being predominately ningender, but being flexible or somehow diverging from this identity.
  • Supraepicene: An experience that encompasses and exceeds being Epicene. Also called Superepicene.
  • Supraneutrois: An experience that encompasses and exceed being Neutrois. Also called Superneutrois.
  • Transneutral: Transgender people who were assigned male or female at birth, but identify with neutral gendered feelings to a greater extent than with femininity or masculinity. They usually are nonbinary but could be trans men or trans women.

Agingender and Other Terminology of Significant Gendrelessness

Terms that describe gender that are Agender in Nature (AGIN) or otherwise significantly genderless.

  • Agender: Lacking a sense of gender and/or having neutral gender.
  • Agenderflux: Being Agender the majority of the time while experiencing varying degrees of Agender identity through partial connection to a given gender or genders and fluctuation.
  • Agenderpunk: Lacking a sense of gender while actively resisting gender normativity.
  • Aginflexible: Being predominately Agender, but being flexible or somehow diverging from this identity.
  • Anvisgender: Describing an individual who is too apathetic to care about their gender identity or sense of genderness. Also called Apagender and Inersgender.
  • Apogender: A subset of the Agender identity in which one feels not only genderless, but also removed from the concept of gender entirely.
  • Blurigenderless: A gender which is so vague and blurred that you can’t figure out specifics, only that it’s genderless.
  • Cassgender: A gender where one is entirely indifferent to gender or finds it to be unimporant.
  • Ceteroagender: A nonbinary gender with specific feelings of genderlessness.
  • Dubiucine: Someone who is partially, but not entirely, gender apathetic or always in flux.
  • Euagender: An absolute genderlessness, agenderness or gender nullity; being verily Agender.
  • Exgender: An outright refusal to accept or identify in, on or around the gender spectrum.
  • Flexagender: A flexible, lack of gender that somehow diverges from genderlessness.
  • Genderliminal: A gender on the edge of existing and not existing (between gender and agender), or one that dances between the two.
  • Gendernull: Being without gender while also having a tangible sense of genderlessness (nullity).  
  • Gendervoid: Lack of contact with any gender; lacking a sense of gender, explicitly.
  • Ingender: Feeling no sense of gender as a result of being intersex.
  • Lackgender: Describing one’s complete or partial genderlessness while having having a connection to a particular gender or genders.
  • Libragender: Being mostly Agender with a slight connection to another gender.
  • Nullenby: A null-aligned nonbinary individiual.
  • Panantagender:  An agender identity opposed to all genders; someone who has all accesible antigenders & agenders.
  • Spanogender: Barely identifying as a gender or gender(s) and, therefore, being almost entirely genderless.
  • Spatia: A gender defined by it’s nonexistence; an objectification of vacancy; A null gender with a tangible nothingness. Also called Spatiatype.
  • Supragenderless: An experience that encompasses and exceeds being genderless. Also called Superagender.

Nixic Genders

Terms to describe genders that are simultaneously aligned and genderless.

  • Ambonix: An identity that is comprised of genderless and ambi-aligned aspects, which may manifest as partially identifying as Femache.
  • Apéra: Being simultaneously péra and Agender.
  • Maverisa: Being simultaneously Maverique and Agender.
  • Neutrix/Neutrisa: Being simultaneously Neutrois and Agender.
  • Nijuxera: An identity that is comprised of both genderless and Juxera-aligned aspects, which may manifest as partially identifying as Juxera.
  • Nixangi: An identity comprised of both genderless and partial androgynous or androgyne-aligned aspects. These aspects can be experienced either simultaneously, fluidly, or through fluctuations.
  • Nixavire: An identity that is comprised of both genderless and girlboy-aligned aspects, which may manifest as partially identifying as a girlboy; the combination of Nixera + Nixvir.
  • Nixera: An identity that is comprised of both genderless and girl-aligned aspects, which may manifest as partially identifying as a girl.
  • Nixpangi: An identity comprised of both genderless and partial pandrogynous or androgyne pan-aligned aspects. These aspects can be experienced either simultaneously, fluidly, or through fluctuations.
  • Nixtaneu: An identity that is comprised of both genderless and Juxtaneu-aligned aspects, which may manifest as partially identifying as Juxtaneu.
  • Nixtrangi: An identity that is comprised of both genderless and Neutrangi-aligned aspects, which may manifest as partially identifying as Neutrangi.
  • Nixvir: An identity that is comprised of both genderless and boy-aligned aspects, which may manifest as partially identifying as a boy.
  • Omnixic: An identity that is comprised of both genderless and pan/omni-aligned aspects, which may manifest as partially identifying as a pangender
  • Panixique: Anixic pangender-ness; an identity comprised of both genderless and partial pangender or pan-aligned aspects. These aspects can be experienced either simultaneously, fluidly or through fluctuations.
  • Péraverisa: Being simultaneous Péramaverique and Agender.
  • Pronixangi: An identity that is comprised of both genderless and Proxangi-aligned aspect, which may manifest as partially identifying as Proxangi.
  • Pronixvir: An identity that is comprised of both genderless and Proxvir-aligned aspects, which may manifest as partially identifying as Proxvir.

Uingenders and Other Terminology of Significant Unquantifiability

Terms that describe genders with elements of uncertanty, unknowability, undefinability, unidentifiability, unexplainibility and undeterminability (UIN). Uingender is not the same as Questioning, as it describe the quality of being unquatifiable, whereas questioning refers to the process of attempting quantification.

  • Arigender: An unfathomable gender that cannot be described or is very difficult to explain.
  • Bluruin: A gender which is so vague and blurred that you can’t figure out specifics, only that it’s unquantifiable.
  • Discordian: A gender that is chaotic, largely incomprehensible or unexplainable that is characterized by a sense of confusion, unease and/or discomfort. Discordians can have other elements to their gender or be Agender.
  • Enperceptine: An individual whose gender is entirely unknowable and fundamentally incomprehensible. It cannot be understood in any way, shape or form.
  • Flexuingender: A flexible gender that is predominately indescribable, but somehow diverge from gender unquantifiability.
  • Hvarrneu: A gender that has masculine, feminine and neutral elements that are all weak and undefined.
  • Indivisc-abal: A gender that has abinary elements, but is still indescribable.
  • Indivisc-anonbal: A gender that has anonbinary elements, but is still indescribable.
  • Indivisc-eal: A gender that has epicene elements, but is still indescribable.
  • Indivisc-fal: A gender that has feminine elements, but is still indescribable.
  • Indivisc-mal: A gender that has masculine elements, but is still indescribable.
  • Indivisc-nal: A gender that has androgynous elements, but is still indescribable.
  • Indivisc-xal: A gender that has xenic elements, but is still indescribable.
  • Indivisical: When one’s gender is so complex it is barely comprehensible to themselves and almost impossible to describe with one term.
  • Ineffabillisian: A gender that is utterly ineffable. It cannot be explained, other than that it simply exists; Comuingender.
  • Ineffigender: A gender too great or extreme to be expressed or described in words.
  • Konaneu: A gender that has feminine and neutral elements that are both weak and/or undefined. A gender that is FIN, NIN and UIN.
  • Kunneusik: A gender with autonomous and neutral elements that are both weak and/or undefined. A gender that is autonomous, NIN and UIN.
  • Margmenneu: A gender with a multitude of alignments, at least one of which is neutral, that are all weak and/or undefined. A gender that is UIN and Polygender/Pangender/Omnigender/Multigender/Trigender, that includes at least one Ningender.
  • Maringender: When a part of one’s gender is identified, but the rest of the identity it unidentifiable.
  • Neuatrith: A gender that has androgynous and neutral elements that are both weak and/or undefined. A gender that is LIN, NIN and UIN.
  • Neuekki: A gender that has genderless and neutral elements that are both weak and undefined. A gender that is AGIN, NIN and UIN.
  • Neukenna: A gender that has aporine and neutral elements that are both weak and undefined. A gender that is AIN, NIN and UIN.
  • Neuolikr: A gender that has xenic and neutral elements that are weak and/or undefined. A gender that is XIN, NIN and UIN.
  • Nymhs: A gender which exists but is nebulous or undefined.
  • Resgender: A fluid, ever-changing gender experience that is wholly unidentifiable and nodescript, but capable of manifesting in an extremely vast multitude of identities and alignment. Also called Cengender.
  • Uinflux: Being Uingender the majority of the time while experiencing varying degrees of Uingender identity, ranging from genderlessness to completely Uingender.
  • Undrion: referring to an individual whose gender is characterized by being comfortable with the fact that it is undefined or unknown; a comfortable Uingender.
  • Verrneu: A gender that has masculine and neutral elements that are both weak and/or undefined. A gender that is MIN, NIN and UIN. Also called Verrneugender.

Aporagenders, Non-Neutral Abinary Genders, Nontrinary Genders and Otherine Genders

Terms for non-neutral genders that are Aporine In Nature (neither Male, Female nor Androgynous), abinary (being entirely unrelated to the gender binary), nontrinaray (not solely fitting in the trinary of Male/Female/none) or Otherine In Nature (new gender qualities that are related to the quadanary of Male/Female/Androgynous/Neutral, but are fundementally defined as standing part from these concepts.)  

  • Ambigue: An ambiguous gender. A gender identity associated with ambiguity.
  • Ambigueflux: Being Ambigue the majority of the time while experiencing varying degrees of Ambigue identity, ranging from genderlessness to completely Ambigue.
  • Ambinique: A gender that results from society’s gender roles, stereotypes, and expectations being mixed and blurred over time into something entirely new and unique.
  • Frannchlen: A term to describe abinary, neuter and null individuals whose gender coincidentally shares some qualities with androgynous genders despite not being derived or related to masculinity, femininity, androgyny, epicenity or any other (mid)binary concept.  
  • Generique: A generic gender.  
  • Herrlein: A term to describe abinary, neuter and null individuals whose gender coincidentally shares some qualities with masculine genders despite not being derived or related to masculinity, femininity, androgyny, epicenity or any other (mid)binary concept.  
  • Madchen: A term to describe abinary, neuter and null individuals whose gender coincidentally shares some qualities with feminine genders despite not being derived or related to masculinity, femininity, androgyny, epicenity or any other (mid)binary concept.  
  • Péra: An Abinary gender is not at all Female, Male, androgynous, epicene or neutrois. Pera is not a lack of gender, confusion about one’s gender, or apathy about one’s gender. It is completely removed from the gender trinary of male/female/none.
  • Pérangi: Being perandrogynous; A gender with that is simultaneously Péra and Androgynous/LIN.
  • Péraverique: Being completely beyond the gender trinary of Male/Female/none, while at the same time, with an autonomy and inner conviction regarding a sense of self that is entirely independent of masculinity, femininity or anything which derives from the two while still being neither without gender nor of a neutral gender.

Atrinary Gender, Anonbinary Genders and Xenogenders

Terms to describe atrinary (genders completely unrelated to the trinary of Male/Female/None), anonbinary (gender removed not only from the binary gender, but other nonbinary genders as well) and Xenogender (genders that can only be defined and described in terms of nouns, archetypes, concepts, sensations, etc. as opposed to traditional binary and non-binary concepts of gender).

  • Altegender: A Xenogender that feels as though it is on a “different plane” and/or is “parallel” to a specific gender inside or outside of the Binary Gender Spectrum.
  • Anler: An abinary gender that exists independently of masculinity, femininity, androgyny and neutrality that is characterized by passion, determination, a sense of security, autonomy and conviction that one’s gender is entirely Abinary. A choleric, maverique gender.
  • Antheic: A xenic gender identity characterized by beauty and love in one’s identity.
  • Degovgender: An ungovernable gender, that goes in a masterless way, uncontrolled by its owner, not essentially misruled. As if this gender does not have owner, it’s pragmatically programmed to function alone.
  • Exoproso: An umbrella term referring to one’s gender which is inexplicable within the context of human gender. This gender can encompass a variety or alignments or none at all, and can be fluid, flulx fluix, stable, still or stable-still. Can be used as Exomasc, Exofemme, etc.
  • Gendermaverick: A (a)nonbinary gender in which the meaning is self-determined to challenge societal notions of binary gender. A combination of Maverique and Genderpunk.
  • Jouine: An Abinary gender that exists independently of masculinity, femininity, androgyny and neutrality that is characterized by euphoria, autonomy, conviction and sense of individuality that insists upon a gender that is entirely abinary; A joyful, maverique gender.
  • Liberique: A gender that brings with itself the convictions and/or the ability to express it, despite the external pressure to not do so. Also called Libergender.
  • Maverique: An Abinary gender that is characterized by autonomy and inner conviction regarding a sense of self that is entirely independent of masculinity, femininity or anything derived from the two while still being neither without gender not of a neutral gender.
  • Maveriqueflux: Being Maverique the majority of the time while experiencing varying degrees of Maverique identity, ranging from genderlessness to completely Maverique.
  • Mnioct: A gender which encompasses The Void, but is filled with all.
  • Mniobainin: A feminine gender which encompasses The Void, but is filled with all.
  • Mniodrach: A neutral gender which encompasses The Void, but is filled with all.
  • Mniofirin: A masculine gender which encompasses The Void, but is filled with all.
  • Orupin: An abinary gender that exists independently of masculinity, femininity, androgyny and neutrality that is characterized by logic, reason, autonomy, conviction and sensibility that one’s gender is entirely Abinary. An objective, maverique gender.
  • Spesgender: An anonbinary, autonomous gender that is defined by hope; a gender that encapsulates one’s personal aspiration as they exist independent of binary, midbinary and abinary concept of gender.
  • Tragmat: An Abinary gender that exists independently of masculinity, femininity, androgyny and neutrality that is characterized by individuality, tranquility, autonomy, conviction and sense of ease regarding that one’s gender is entirely Abinary. A serene, maverique gender.
  • Transxenine: A term used to describe trans people identifying with xenine gendered feelings to a greater extent than with femininity or masculinity. They usually are nonbinary but could be trans men or trans women.
  • Xenby: A xenic nonbinary individual.
  • Xenogender: A gender that is entirely removed from common descriptors of gender, instead using nouns, sensations, abstract concepts and metaphors to describe one’s experience with gender.

Auingenders And Other Genders of Significant Autonomy

Terms describing autonomous, or self-governing, socially empancipated genders (AUIN).

  • Abinique: An Abinary, autonomous gender. A gender that is simultaneously autonomous and Abinary-In-Nature (ABIN).
  • Aginique: An autonomous genderlessness. A gender that is simultaneously autonomous and Agender-In-Nature (AGIN).
  • Ambiguique: An autonomous yet ambiguous gender.
  • Ambitrique:  An Ambitrois, autonomous gender.
  • Angique: An androgynous, autonomous gender. A gender that is simultaneously autonomous and Androgynous (Male/Female)-In-Nature (LIN).
  • Autonomique: A purely autonomous gender defined by self-governance, a sense of personal freedom in one’s identity and independence from gendered concepts without being genderless, xenic or maverique; Comauingender; Being completely Autonomous-In-Nature (AUIN).
  • Epicenique: An epicene, autonomous gender. A gender that is simultaneously autonomous and Epicene-In-Nature (EPIN).
  • Equilibrique: An Equilibrtrois, autonomous gender.
  • Feminique: A feminine, autonomous gender. A gender that is simultaneously autonomous and Feminine-In-Nature (FIN).
  • Generique: A generic, nonspecified yet autonomous gender.
  • Masculinique: A masculine, autonomous gender. A gender that is simultaneously autonomous and Masculine-In-Nature (MIN).
  • Midabinique: A Midabinary, autonomous gender.
  • Midbinique: A Midbinary autonomous gender.
  • Negatrique: A Negatrois, autonomous gender.
  • Neutrangique: A Neutrangi, autonomous gender. A gender that is simultaneously autonomous and Neutrangi-In-Nature (NAIN)
  • Neutrique: A neutral, autonomous gender. A gender that is simultaneously autonomous and Neutral-In-Nature (NIN).
  • Nullique: A Nulltrois, autonomous gender.  
  • Othrinique: An Otherine, autonomous gender. A gender that is simultaneously autonomous and Otherine-In-Nature (OIN).
  • Panautonomnique: Experiencing all autonomous genders that are accesible to your culture and experience. Also called Panauingender.
  • Panique: A Pangender, autonomous gender; experiencing all genders accessible to your culture and experience while being simultaneously Autonomous-In-Nature (AUIN).
  • Péraique: A Péra, autonomous gender. A gender that is simultaneously Péra and autonomous.
  • Positrique: A positrois, autonomous gender.
  • Uinique: A undefined, autonomous gender. A gender that is simultaneously autonomous and Unquantifiable(etc.)-In-Nature (UIN).
  • Xenique: A xenic, autonomous gender. A gender that is simultaneously autonomous and Xenic-In-Nature (XIN).

Terminology Defined by Inherent Queerness

Terms to describe queerness as an inherent qualitiy of one’s gender identity.

  • Angiqueer: An androgynous gender that is defined by inherent queerness. Describing the sum of androgynous gender, presentation and queer experience. An Angiqueer may or may not identify within the Androgyne Spectrum
  • Femqueer:  A feminine gender that is defined by an inherent queerness. Describing the sum of feminine gender, presentation and queer experience. A Femqueer may or may not identify as a “woman” and/or “Female”.
  • Mascqueer: A masculine gender that is defined by an inherent queerness. Describing the sum of masculine gender, presentation and queer experience. A Mascqueer may or may not identify as a “man” and or “Male”.
  • Neuqueer: A neutral gender that is defined by an inherent queerness. Describing the sum of neutral gender, presentation and queer experience. A Neuqueer may or may not identify as Neutrois.

Galactian Alignments

An alternative system that was created to describe nonbinary alignments without directly using terms like “masculine” or “feminine”.

  • Annulian: A nonbinary alignment that is xenic, neutral and masculine.
  • Celestian: A nonbinary alignment that is partially unaligned, neutral or somehow ‘other’. Also called demistellarian
  • Daenixian: A nonbinary alignment that is partially xenic, partially masculine and partially neutral.
  • Dawnian: A nonbinary, demi-masculine alignment. Also called demisolarian.
  • Duenixian: A nonbinary alignment that is partially xenic, paritally feminine and partially neutral.
  • Duskian: A nonbinary, demi-feminine alignment. Also called demilunarian.
  • Eclipsian: A nonbinary alignment that is both feminine and masculine, either fluctuating or simultaneously.
  • Galaxian: A nonbinary alignment that is feminine, masculininty and unaligned/neutral/‘other’, either fluctuating or simultaneously.
  • Hafian: A nonbinary alignment that is partially xenic and partially neutral.
  • Lunarian: A nonbinary, feminine alignment.
  • Meteorian: A nonbinary alignment that is masculine, feminine and xenic.
  • Nebularian: A nonbinary alignment that is both feminine and unaligned/neutral/‘other’, either fluctuating or simultaneously.
  • Novarian: A nonbinary alignment that is both masculine and unaligned/neutral/‘other’, either fluctuating or simultaneous.
  • Penumbrian: A nonbianry alignment that is xenic, feminine and neutral.
  • Siderealian: A nonbinary alignment that is xenic, feminine, neutral and masculine.
  • Solarian: A nonbinary, masculine alignment.
  • Stellarian: A nonbinary alignment that is unaligned, neutral or somehow ‘other’.
  • Synodian: A nonbinary alignment that is partially xenic, partially feminine, partially neutral and partially masculine.
  • Voidarian: A nonbinary individual who is nonaligned and/or completely rejects gender alignments. Also called singularian.
  • Wanian: A nonbinary alignment that is partially xenic and partially feminine.
  • Waxian: A nonbinary alignment that is partially xenic and partially feminine.
  • Umbrian: A nonbinary alignment that is partially xenic, partially feminine and partially masculine.

Multigender and Polygender Identities

Terms that describe having more than one gender.

  • Alchmiabaonic: A core identity that is made up of other identities, all of which come together to create one core identity.
  • Ambigender: A static bigender identity in which two genders are experienced simultaneously.
  • Ambonec: Being both Male and Female, but neither simultaneously.
  • Ambonic: Being both Male and Female, but none simultaneously.
  • Bluripolygender: A gender which is so vague and blurred that you can’t figure out specifics, only that it is comprised of multiple genders.
  • Creagun: An umbrella term used to indicate when one’s gender is comprised of various elements of other genders, without necessarily being entirely or at all of that gender or genders.
  • Duragender: A polygender/genderfluid identity that involves a stable, long-lasting component.
  • Ergender: A little bit boy, a little bit girl, a little bit nonbinary, and the rest of your identity is something else.
  • Equilibriogender: A gender that strikes a balance between two or more genders at the same time.
  • Faengender: A gender that is feminine, masculine, and androgynous all at once, but mostly androgynous.
  • Faenegender: A gender that is feminine, masculine, and androgynous all at once, but mostly feminine.
  • Faunegender: A gender that is feminine, masculine, and androgynous all at once, but mostly masculine.
  • Femmegender: A multigender involving two or more fia-spec genders.
  • Gemigender: A polygender identity where one’s genders feel as though they are opposite to each other but still work together with each other.
  • Genderdox: Multiple genders and nothing/genderless at the same time summed up into one, as if a paradox.
  • Genderfain: A type of bigender in which you feel that you are both genderfae and genderfaun at different times.
  • Hordidem: To describe those who “collect” genders and experience them all simultaneously.
  • Femache: A simultaneous Male-Female experience.
  • Fraspe: A multigender that can be both be experienced as the sum of its genders or by each gender itself. Fraspe individuals can feel each of their genders individually, simultaneously and/or be fluid in between them. These genders can be be known or unknown to the individual.
  • Hemiage: A single, kymenian gender whose alignment is the result of experiencing two hemigenders in tandem.
  • Inversegender: Having two very different, separate gender identities that fluctuate in and out, never going away.
  • Juproxevira: A gender relative to Femache, but is distinct from it. It does not lie outside of the Gender Spectrum; a simultaneous Juxera-Proxvir experience.
  • Malinegender: A multigender involving two or more miaspec genders.
  • Plerugender: When one has multiple genders but a specific one is dominant above the rest, also called domgender and supragender.
  • Plugender: Can be used to describe those who have multiple genders, or who sees their gender as being one multifaceted thing, possibly comprising multiple genders into one.
  • Plurigender: identifying with more than one gender at once; multigenderstatic; polykymengender.
  • Poly-fractal: A multigender comprised of multigenders.
  • Puellix: A term to describe abinary, omni-aligned/pangender/multigender/polygender individuals whose gender(s) coincidentally share some qualities with feminine genders, despite not being derived or related to binary or nonbinary notions of masculinity, femininity, androgyny, epicenity or any other (mid)binary concept.
  • Puerix: A term to describe abinary, omni-aligned/pangender/multigender/polygender individuals whose gender(s) coincidentally shares some qualities with masculine genders, despire not being derived or related to binary or nonbinary notions of masculinity, femininity, androgyny, epicenity or any other (mid)binary concept.
  • Scorigender: Fluid, flux and/or fluix with three genders that are somewhat similar.
  • Tintgender: Being of a given gender, while having Androgynous, Neutral and Masculine or Feminine elements that affect the manifestation and presentation of the given gender. The fundementaly, underlying given gender is stable, though the additional elements can exist in a state of fluidity and/or flux. Can be combined with relevant terms, creating possibilities like Tintboy, Tintgirl, etc.
  • Transfeminine Man: An individual who experiences both Manhood and gender femininity.
  • Transmasculine Woman: An individual who experiences both Womanhood and gender masculinity.
  • Trinversegender: A gender identity is made up of three very distinct and different genders that all fluctuate in intensity.
  • Quesgender: A term to describe individuals who have identified one of the genders that comprises their multigender/polygender identity and know that they have at least one other gender, but are unable to describe it with current terminology at the present time. This identified can be used permanently, while questioning and/or while searching for adequate terminology to describe oneself.
  • Virea: A term to describe abinary, omni-aligned/pangender/multigender/polygender individuals whose gender(s) coincidentally shares some qualities with androgynous genders, despite not being derived or related to binary or nonbinary notions of masculinity, femininity, androgyny, epicenity or any other (mid)binary concept.

Omnigender and Pangender Identities

Terms that describe identities where very many or all genders accessible to an individual are part of their experience.

  • Allekeinegender: Being simultaneously all accessible genders, yet none at all.
  • Apangender: A genderedness that is both agender and pangender and/or somewhere between them.
  • Genderlanguor: A gender that is both omni-aligned/pangender, nonchalant and indifferent; an omni-aligned gender with an apathetic quality.
  • Panea: Being Pangender with all accessible Nonbinary genders. Also called Panenby.
  • Panabingender: Experiencing all abinary genders within one’s culutre and experience.
  • Panbingender: Experiencing all masculine and feminine genders within one’s culture and experience.
  • Panfingender: Experiencing all feminine gender within one’s culture and experience.
  • Panidingender: Experiencing all fluid genders within one’s culture and experience.
  • Panlingender: Experiencing all androgynous genders within one’s culture  and experience.
  • Panmidbingender: Experiencing all midbinary genders within one’s culture and experience.

  • Pangender Nonaby: Experiencing all gender within one’s culture and experience, except for abinary genders. A type of Panoabingender.
  • Pangender Nonenby: Experiencing all accessible masculine and feminine genders, but not experiencing androgyny, epicenity, abinarity or genderlessness. A type of Panbingender.
  • Pangender Nonfemme: Experiencing all gender within one’s culture and experience, except for feminine genders. A type of Panofingender.
  • Pangender Nonmasc: Experiencing all genders within one’s culture and experience, except for masculine genders. A type of Panomingender.
  • Pangender Nonmidby: Experiencing all genders within one’s culture and experience, except for midbinary genders. A type of Panomidbingender.
  • Pangender Noneutral: Experiencing all gender within one’s culture and experiencing, except for neutral genders. A type of Panoningender.
  • Pangender Nonxenby: Experiencing all genders within one’s culture and experience, except for Xenogenders. A type of Panoxingender.
  • Panzerogender: when all genders, accessible within your own culture and life experience, are nullified when combined with their respective antigenders.

  • Mulofini: Being polygender with only feminine and neutral genders.

  • Chimaenox / Chimaenon: A sex category for those with faceted/fractional congruencies.
  • Enbinox / Enbinon: A general sex category for non-binary individuals. Also called Xeunox/Xeunon.
  • Neunon : A sex category for those who are non-binary, with a self-acknowledged congruencies towards neutrality to any significant degree.
  • Ninnox / Ninnon: A sex category for those who are genderless.
  • Nothonox / Nothonon: Someone who is indifferent towards categorization, to any self-identified degree.
  • Xaeinox / Xaeinon : A sex category for those who are non-binary, with self-acknowledged congruencies to both masculinity and femininity of any significant degree.
  • Xainox / Xainon: A sex category for those who are non-binary, with a self-acknowledged congruencies towards masculinity to any significant degree.
  • Xaunox / Xaunon: A sex category for those who are non-binary, and encompass multiple/various self-acknowledged congruencies.
  • Xeanox / Xeanon: sex categorization title for those who are non-binary with a self-acknowledged congruencies towards femininity to any significant degree.
  • Xequinox / Xequinon: A sex category for those who are non-binary, and encompass some ( or many ) self-acknowledged congruencies towards a xenic existence to any significant degree.

  • Abitumbaonic: A gender that departs from one’s overall identity, never to appear again.
  • Adonogender: The want to appear masculine but to remain without a true gender.
  • Antegender: a protean gender which has the potential to be anything, but is formless and motionless, and therefore, does not manifest as any particular gender.
  • Caligender: For when one has a very vague idea regarding one’s gender but cannot or are unwilling to determine specifics.
  • Cattleyagender: Being of a nonandrogynous gender while also possessing androgynous elements, all without sacrificing gender nonandrogyny.
  • Cofundogender: A gendered feeling that is confusing to the person experiencing it, to the point that they cannot define or explain it.
  • Ectogender: A gender that is elusive, constantly out of your grasp and impossible to pin down.
  • Effemal: A gender in which you strongly express femininity but identify as Male.
  • Entitygender: A gender that simply exists independently from the concept of a gender binary. A vacant, non-restrictive and flexible gender.
  • Eramen: A gender that is Male, but not masculine.
  • Irisgender: Being of a nonxenic gender while also possessing xenine elements, all without sacrificing gender nonxenicit
  • Knowgender: A fluid gender that can be related to typical masculinity, femininity, aporagender, and agender; yet still remain incomprehensible or difficult to explain in one way or another due to its vastness and fluidity.
  • Lavandulagender: Being of a nonmasculine gender while also possessing masculine elements, all without sacrificing gender nonmasculinity.
  • Manfuema: A gender where one strongly expresses masculinity as part of their gender, but identifies as female.
  • Moluccellagender: Being of a non-neutral gender while also possessing neutral elements without sacrificing gender non-neutrality.
  • Nongender: A gender that is best described by what it is not.
  • Novigender: When your gender experience (or lack thereof) is complicated in such a way that it is difficult or impossible to fit into one word or term.
  • Pleonotic: A gender experience of someone who does not use other synonymous identities to describe their own gender identity
  • Rhetor: An individual with a gender or genders that are reminiscent somehow of a language. Such a gender may rely heavily on metaphor, with it’s own “grammar” and inner logic". It may be a tool that one uses to understand the word and express oneself. A gender that resembles language that is meaningful to the individual.
  • Roseusgender: Being of a nonfeminine gender while also possessing feminine elements, all without sacrificing gender nonfemininity.
  • Secander: Having two or more genders that are felt with the utmost certainty, while occasionally flowing away or beyond what is typical of said genders.
  • Sinegender: Flowing between two or more gender and reaching everything in between.
  • Tangender: A singular gender that is felt with the utmost certainty, while occasionally flowing away or beyond what is typical of said gender.
  • Taccagender: Being nongenderless while also possessing genderless elements, all without sacrificing nongenderlessness.
  • Taraxacumgender: Being of a nonabinary gender while also possessing abinary elements, all without sacrificing gender nonabinarity.
  • Ultergender: Identifying differently from one’s assigned gender while being intersex; an alternative to the term transgender for people who do not identifying with it due to being intersex.
  • Verella: A gender that is Female, but not feminine.
  • Vexegender: When one’s gender is in the non-binary/agender spectrum, but pinpointing it beyond that is impossible because the individual does not understand the concept of gender.
