Lynch was drafted by the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in the third round (82nd pick overall) of the 1993 NFL Draft. Lynch played his first 11 seasons in the league with the Buccaneers. When he arrived, the Buccaneers were among the worst teams in the league; his first three years were the last of a record stretch of 10-loss seasons. However, he was a key player on the aggressive Tampa 2 defenses of the late 1990s and early 2000s. In 2002, Lynch collected a Super Bowl ring in Super Bowl XXXVII with the Bucs. From 1997-2005 the Tampa Bay Buccaneers had one of the Best Defenses of All Time. Under Defensive Coordinator Monte Kiffin the Bucs placed top 10 in defense 9 out of 9 years. 7 out of the 9 years they were top 5. 8 different defenders were sent to the pro bowl (Donnie Abraham, Hardy Nickerson, John Lynch, Warren Sapp, Simeon Rice, Derrick Brooks, Shelton Quarles, and Ronde Barber) 5 of which were All Pro at some point. Sapp and Brooks were named Defensive player of the year during that span ( Sapp 1999) (Brooks 2002) The 2002 Buccaneers were the #1defense in yards allowed and points allowed. They gave up an oppose passer rating of 48.4. They were the last defense in NFL History to hold opposing teams to under 200 points (they gave up 196) They had 31 interceptions in regular season play. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ngfH-77qPJk Duncan Edwards by opponents & teammates Depending on your point of view, George Best is either the carefree hedonist who played football for the love of it, and gleefully enjoyed the fringe benefits (booze 'n' birds) which came with the territory, or he is the sad, shambolic, wife-beating alcoholic who frittered away his God-given gifts. Both perspectives are given a full airing in Best Intentions, an old Ulster TV documentary which has been re-released on video to coincide with Best, the recent biopic starring John Lynch as George Best. This isn't exactly a polished piece of film-making. Many of the interviews seem to have taken place in howling gales (you can¹t listen to Dennis Law without being distracted by the way his hair dances in the wi...

BEGOTTEN Dir. E. Elias Merhige, 1990. USA, 72 min. THURSDAY, OCTOBER 2 – 7:30 PM WEDNESDAY, OCTOBER 8 – 7:30 PM MONDAY, OCTOBER 20 – 10 PM “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.” -John 3:16 (King James Bible) Easily one of the most singular films in the history of experimental cinema, E. Elias Merhige’s BEGOTTEN is a deeply religious, allegorical nightmare carved onto celluloid distanced from place or time, uncovering visceral, primitivist brutality that may be unparalleled in the history of the moving image. “One of the ten most important films of modern times.” -Susan Sontag Despite its near-total lack of cultural reference points, the churning, repetitive, symbolic actions of the...
PEP SQUAD is a lurid trip through the lives of a handful of students attending the seemingly average Oak Hill High School. But what might have been a pleasant little tale about teen life in the Midwest quickly turns rotten. The student body is uniformly jaded, obsessed with sex, drugs and suicide, the parents are clueless, self-involved and thoughtless, the principal is a lecherous bum who gets a well-deserved comeuppance, the cheerleaders are a bunch of drunked sluts in short-skirts and pompoms who can be easily bought off and the coveted title of Prom Queen is something the candidates would kill for ... literally! Sacrificial lamb Beth is complemented by the lusciously evil Cherry, a sadistic bitch in towering platform boots who'll do anything to get her coveted crown. Her arch rival is...

He took some time off from art school to play music with The Soup Dragons (85-90) but went back to art school when he realised he was enjoying making the record covers and posters and t-shirts much more than the direction in which the band’s music was going. How's it going everyone in this RPG Maker MV First Impressions video we take a look at Tranquility by Domo. This game is still in an early stage where I can see many placeholder maps, items, skills etc. The animations on the skills look nice but some of them are missing sound effects which results in them feeling non-impactful. Sure that's a word you know what I mean. :) The mapping in this game is pretty bad. It's very inconsistent and includes many novice pitfalls. Some of the events that are on the ground layer are accessible while the player is on a cliff, a higher layer. This can be fixed by simply moving some events around so not a huge deal, but needs to be addressed. The combat is an ATB and feels kind of slow. As the game progresses the fights get longer and more broken. Change th...

Recently, actor John Caroll Lynch made the decision to step behind the camera to direct Lucky, a semi-fictionalized account of the life of 90-year-old Hollywood legend Harry Dean Stanton. The film made its world-premiere this year during SXSW. At the event Lynch chatted with website UpRoxx about what drew him to the project. He also shared that he'd had a desire to direct for a while now and this project presented the perfect opportunity. He went on to say that when he talked about the project with the films' producers that there were essentially four or five films that were in the writers’ minds in terms of style and vista, you know. All ’70s movies, “Lucky” follows the spiritual journey of a 90-year-old atheist — played by Stanton — and the quirky characters that inhabit his off-the-map ...

UPDATE TO THIS VIDEO: https://vimeo.com/203616527 We had so much fun putting together every best picture ever, we thought we'd highlight every best visual effects winner next. For the 1927/28 Academy awards, the award was for engineering effects. There was no award again until 1938 where it was called a special award "for outstanding achievement in creating special photographic and sound effects. The very next year the award was combined with sound effects and called the Award for Special Effects. It wasn't until 1963 that the award became the Award for Best Visual Effects (which it is still called today). It was given every year from 1963 to present, with the exception of 1973. Hope you enjoy! **Also we apologize for the two title mistakes. We had already uploaded it when we noticed...

BEST OF BEST! BEST OF BEST! BEST OF BEST!
The mind's conceit has conquered all the real beauty
Grinning from a mask of hollowed bone
Where a human is somewhere to be found
But where I don't know
And things couldn't be better
From behind the halls we cannot pass
Hear the muffled traces of a boyish laugh
Hear the monster screaming "what have I become?"
Before his looking-glass
And things couldn't be better
This is one fine life
This is one fine wine
This is one fine wife
This is one fine lie
And things couldn't be better
