In the future, when Earth's natural resources aren’t as plentiful as Call of Duty sequels, the United Nations Space Alliance was formed to colonize the galaxy and govern space travel and commerce. As civilization expanded, the UNSA created the Solar Alliance Treaty Organization to keep the peace. Soldiers braved exotic environments and extreme conditions finding new planets but insurgency, and a lack of Burger Towns, halted expansion.
After a War of Secession, a militant group known as the Settlement Defense Front opposed the UNSA. Their fleet headed for Earth led by Rear Admiral Salen Kotch who vowed the SDF would not simply break free, but break the UNSA. The UNSA prepared for battle, but surprise attacks on both their Geneva Headquarters and the Gateway Port on the Moon crippled their forces.
Losing their military brass and all but two warships in the attacks, humanity turns to Lt. Nick Reyes to protect the Earth at all costs. As Reyes, you've proven your skill in combat, but are now forced into the captain's chair. Gather every soldier and wise-cracking military robot aboard the warship Retribution to blast off against the fanatic SDF forces because in Call of Duty, you are told to do everything. Also, there’s a Zombie Amusement park when you get bored.

In the 70s, horror had one name: Willard Wyler. Directing classic films like Disco Devil and Nightmare Summer, audiences were left wanting more campy thrills. But over time, the eccentric director faded from the spotlight to work on his next tale of terror.
Into the 80s, audiences assumed Wyler was a hopeless recluse, but one day he invited four young actors to audition for his groundbreaking new film. Willard's fearsome foursome included A.J. the jock, Poindexter the nerd, Sally the Valley Girl, and Andre the Rapper because stereotypes are a fun time capsule. The actors were treated to a screening of Wyler's films, but soon found themselves sucked into the movie FOR REALZ!
As one of these rejects from John Hughes' casting couch, you've just found yourself in a sci-fi theme park, and guess what; It's filled with Zombies… and probably roller coasters. Arm yourself with goofy weapons and blast through hordes of undead, with commentary brought to you by the Hoff, the theme park's DJ and its only survivor. It’s up to you and three of your friends to pre-order Infinite Warfare for this bonus DLC and find a way out before the last film reel ends and you lose your soul or something.

Overwatch origins and lore wise, we don't even know Sombra's real name! What's certain is that she's one of, if not the best hacker in the world, as well as a highly competent infiltrator. Once a child hacker, gang runner and orphan, Sombra’s done what she’s had to to survive, whilst pursuing an insatiable curiosity as to how the world works, and where the power truely lies behind the scenes. Eventually biting off more than she could chew, Sombra learnt from her mistakes, grabbed some upgrades, and is now hunting down the conspiracy that she believes ties the world together - using anyone, and everyone seemingly, to further her cause.

In the future, humanity has colonized systems in the region now called The Frontier. As colonies grew, resources and technology were needed and excavation company, Hammond Engineering, met the demand. Using military exo-skeleton technology, Hammond designed advanced mechs for cargo transportation, salvage missions, and definitely not killing. These soon-to-be murder mechs were called Titans.
Soon Hammond Engineering controlled shipping lanes and maps databases, using legal aggression against the populace as the Interstellar Manufacturing Corporation, because even in space, villains are incorporated. Freedom fighters banded together under the Frontier Systems Territorial Defense Pact, allying with homesteaders and criminals as the Frontier Militia. Led by triggered Ex-IMC soldiers, the Militia took out strategic bases and refueling stations but here we are with a sequel so the fight is far from over.
You are Militia rifleman Jack Cooper. For years you've dreamed of piloting a titan and watched your best friend Captain Lastimosa become the most talented combat certified pilot. In secret, he has given you pilot training, which is incredibly convenient because he was just killed in action and his titan, BT-7274, refuses to work with anyone but you. Your mission will take you to the planet Typhon where you’ll have to contend with the IMC, fight off the local fauna, and make friends with a robot. But don’t worry, you can parkour your way out any problem… except a Smart Pistol.

Dateline: the early 1900's. Europe's major powers were divided into the Triple Entente of Great Britain, France and Russia and the Triple Alliance of Germany, Austro-Hungary, and Italy. Then in 1914, Austro-Hungarian heir, Franz Ferdinand was assassinated in Sarajevo. Austro-Hungary declared war on Serbia but fellow Slavic nation, Russia, intervened.
Germany knew supporting Austro-Hungary meant conflict with Russia's allies and moved against Paris on the Western Front. The battleground became a series of trenches stretching from the English Channel all the way to Switzerland. As soldiers fought for inches, tanks, aerial dogfights, and chemical weapons made World War I even deadlier.
Meanwhile, Britain mobilized its world-class navy, requiring oil from the Ottoman Empire. Unfortunately, they'd just buddied up to Germany and Austro-Hungary as the Central Powers. With the help of T.E. Lawrence, the British incited Arabian revolt.
Now 1918, the war has raged for three and a half years, but the Allies have lost Russia to revolution. Fortunately, Germany's U-boat attacks and the Zimmerman Letter have incited the United States. Will the British and French hold off the Central Powers until they arrive? Can Italy reclaim lands lost to the Austro-Hungarians? Did we just disguise this history lesson as a LORE?

Overwatch's Blackwatch are somewhat of a story and lore mystery - who were they, what did they do, and how could they have been responsible for Overwatch's downfall? I explore their story in canon Overwatch lore here!

After the First Omnic Crisis came to an end in Overwatch's world, Jack Morrison was promoted to Strike Commander of Overwatch, with Gabriel Reyes becoming Commander of Blackwatch - Overwatch's covert operations unit and wing. This caused a split between Morrison and his comrade-in-arms and friend, Reyes, that would ultimately contribute towards the downfall of the organisation they both built, and perhaps even problems in the world beyond it. Previously a secret group, as Blackwatch's (we assume) actions were cited in rumour, gossip and their existance was finally revealed to the world, some of their members played no small part in Overwatch's downfall.
Who exactly were Blackwatch, beyond their leader, Commander Reyes - how did they fit into the operations of Overwatch, and perhaps bring peace to the world (in a different way), and what became of them after the downfall of Overwatch, following Reyes and Morrison's catastrophic battle in the Overwatch Swiss Headquarters? I explore in summary in this video!
Do you think any other Blackwatch agents are out there in the world, acting like McCree - or are they all bit more of a shade of bad, like the Talon operatives with ties to Blackwatch that we seemingly see in McCree's Comic, Trainhopper? Exactly HOW connected are Blackwatch and Talon? Is it a matter of personnel and goals that intersect for now, or is Reyes - or was he - more deeply involved?

As colonies grew, resources and technology were needed and excavation company, Hammond Engineering, met the demand. Using military exo-skeleton technology, Hammond designed advanced mechs for cargo transportation, salvage missions, and definitely not killing. These soon-to-be murder mechs were called Titans. Soon Hammond Engineering controlled shipping lanes and maps databases, using legal aggression against the populace as the Interstellar Manufacturing Corporation, because even in space, villains are incorporated. Freedom fighters banded together under the Frontier Systems Territorial Defense Pact, allying with homesteaders and criminals as the Frontier Militia. Led by triggered Ex-IMC soldiers, the Militia took out strategic bases and refueling stations but here we are with a sequel so the fight is far from over. You are Militia rifleman Jack Cooper. Europe's major powers were divided into the Triple Entente of Great Britain, France and Russia and the Triple Alliance of Germany, Austro-Hungary, and Italy. Then in 1914, Austro-Hungarian heir, Franz Ferdinand was assassinated in Sarajevo. Austro-Hungary declared war on Serbia but fellow Slavic nation, Russia, intervened. Germany knew supporting Austro-Hungary meant conflict with Russia's allies and moved against Paris on the Western Front. The battleground became a series of trenches stretching from the English Channel all the way to Switzerland. As soldiers fought for inches, tanks, aerial dogfights, and chemical weapons made World War I even deadlier. Meanwhile, Britain mobilized its world-class navy, requiring oil from the Ottoman Empire. Unfortunately, they'd just buddied up to Germany and Austro-Hungary as the Central Powers. With the help of T.E. Lawrence, the British incited Arabian revolt. Now 1918, the war has raged for three and a half years, but the Allies have lost Russia to revolution. Fortunately, Germany's U-boat attacks and the Zimmerman Letter have incited the United States. Will the British and French hold off the Central Powers until they arrive? Can Italy reclaim lands lost to the Austro-Hungarians? Did we just disguise this history lesson as a LORE? Overwatch's Blackwatch are somewhat of a story and lore mystery - who were they, what did they do, and how could they have been responsible for Overwatch's downfall? I explore their story in canon Overwatch lore here! -- After the First Omnic Crisis came to an end in Overwatch's world, Jack Morrison was promoted to Strike Commander of Overwatch, with Gabriel Reyes becoming Commander of Blackwatch - Overwatch's covert operations unit and wing. This caused a split between Morrison and his comrade-in-arms and friend, Reyes, that would ultimately contribute towards the downfall of the organisation they both built, and perhaps even problems in the world beyond it. Previously a secret group, as Blackwatch's (we assume) actions were cited in rumour, gossip and their existance was finally revealed to the world, some of their members played no small part in Overwatch's downfall. Who exactly were Blackwatch, beyond their leader, Commander Reyes - how did they fit into the operations of Overwatch, and perhaps bring peace to the world (in a different way), and what became of them after the downfall of Overwatch, following Reyes and Morrison's catastrophic battle in the Overwatch Swiss Headquarters? I explore in summary in this video! Do you think any other Blackwatch agents are out there in the world, acting like McCree - or are they all bit more of a shade of bad, like the Talon operatives with ties to Blackwatch that we seemingly see in McCree's Comic, Trainhopper? In the future, when Earth's natural resources aren’t as plentiful as Call of Duty sequels, the United Nations Space Alliance was formed to colonize the galaxy and govern space travel and commerce. As civilization expanded, the UNSA created the Solar Alliance Treaty Organization to keep the peace. Soldiers braved exotic environments and extreme conditions finding new planets but insurgency, and a lack of Burger Towns, halted expansion.
After a War of Secession, a militant group known as the Settlement Defense Front opposed the UNSA. Their fleet headed for Earth led by Rear Admiral Salen Kotch who vowed the SDF would not simply break free, but break the UNSA. The UNSA prepared for battle, but surprise attacks on both their Geneva Headquarters and the Gateway Port on the Moon crippled their forces.
Losing their military brass and all but two warships in the attacks, humanity turns to Lt. Nick Reyes to protect the Earth at all costs. As Reyes, you've proven your skill in combat, but are now forced into the captain's chair. Gather every soldier and wise-cracking military robot aboard the warship Retribution to blast off against the fanatic SDF forces because in Call of Duty, you are told to do everything. Also, there’s a Zombie Amusement park when you get bored.

As one of these rejects from John Hughes' casting couch, you've just found yourself in a sci-fi theme park, and guess what; It's filled with Zombies… and probably roller coasters. Overwatch origins and lore wise, we don't even know Sombra's real name! What's certain is that she's one of, if not the best hacker in the world, as well as a highly competent infiltrator. Once a child hacker, gang runner and orphan, Sombra’s done what she’s had to to survive, whilst pursuing an insatiable curiosity as to how the world works, and where the power truely lies behind the scenes. Eventually biting off more than she could chew, Sombra learnt from her mistakes, grabbed some upgrades, and is now hunting down the conspiracy that she believes ties the world together - using anyone, and everyone seemingly, to further her cause.
How does Sombra feel about Talon, and will she truly stop at nothing to unveil the mysterious people in the shadows who were hunting her down? Do let me know your thoughts in the comments!

In the future, humanity has colonized systems in the region now called The Frontier. As colonies grew, resources and technology were needed and excavation company, Hammond Engineering, met the demand. Using military exo-skeleton technology, Hammond designed advanced mechs for cargo transportation, salvage missions, and definitely not killing. These soon-to-be murder mechs were called Titans.
Soon Hammond Engineering controlled shipping lanes and maps databases, using legal aggression against the populace as the Interstellar Manufacturing Corporation, because even in space, villains are incorporated. Freedom fighters banded together under the Frontier Systems Territorial Defense Pact, allying with homesteaders and criminals as the Frontier Militia. Led by triggered Ex-IMC soldiers, the Militia took out strategic bases and refueling stations but here we are with a sequel so the fight is far from over.
You are Militia rifleman Jack Cooper. For years you've dreamed of piloting a titan and watched your best friend Captain Lastimosa become the most talented combat certified pilot. In secret, he has given you pilot training, which is incredibly convenient because he was just killed in action and his titan, BT-7274, refuses to work with anyone but you. Your mission will take you to the planet Typhon where you’ll have to contend with the IMC, fight off the local fauna, and make friends with a robot. But don’t worry, you can parkour your way out any problem… except a Smart Pistol.

Dateline: the early 1900's. Europe's major powers were divided into the Triple Entente of Great Britain, France and Russia and the Triple Alliance of Germany, Austro-Hungary, and Italy. Then in 1914, Austro-Hungarian heir, Franz Ferdinand was assassinated in Sarajevo. Austro-Hungary declared war on Serbia but fellow Slavic nation, Russia, intervened.
Germany knew supporting Austro-Hungary meant conflict with Russia's allies and moved against Paris on the Western Front. The battleground became a series of trenches stretching from the English Channel all the way to Switzerland. As soldiers fought for inches, tanks, aerial dogfights, and chemical weapons made World War I even deadlier.
Meanwhile, Britain mobilized its world-class navy, requiring oil from the Ottoman Empire. Unfortunately, they'd just buddied up to Germany and Austro-Hungary as the Central Powers. With the help of T.E. Lawrence, the British incited Arabian revolt.
Now 1918, the war has raged for three and a half years, but the Allies have lost Russia to revolution. Fortunately, Germany's U-boat attacks and the Zimmerman Letter have incited the United States. Will the British and French hold off the Central Powers until they arrive? Can Italy reclaim lands lost to the Austro-Hungarians? Did we just disguise this history lesson as a LORE?

After the First Omnic Crisis came to an end in Overwatch's world, Jack Morrison was promoted to Strike Commander of Overwatch, with Gabriel Reyes becoming Commander of Blackwatch - Overwatch's covert operations unit and wing. This caused a split between Morrison and his comrade-in-arms and friend, Reyes, that would ultimately contribute towards the downfall of the organisation they both built, and perhaps even problems in the world beyond it. Previously a secret group, as Blackwatch's (we assume) actions were cited in rumour, gossip and their existance was finally revealed to the world, some of their members played no small part in Overwatch's downfall.
Who exactly were Blackwatch, beyond their leader, Commander Reyes - how did they fit into the operations of Overwatch, and perhaps bring peace to the world (in a different way), and what became of them after the downfall of Overwatch, following Reyes and Morrison's catastrophic battle in the Overwatch Swiss Headquarters? I explore in summary in this video!
Do you think any other Blackwatch agents are out there in the world, acting like McCree - or are they all bit more of a shade of bad, like the Talon operatives with ties to Blackwatch that we seemingly see in McCree's Comic, Trainhopper? Overwatch's Blackwatch are somewhat of a story and lore mystery - who were they, what did they do, and how could they have been responsible for Overwatch's downfall? I explore their story in canon Overwatch lore here!

After the First Omnic Crisis came to an end in Overwatch's world, Jack Morrison was promoted to Strike Commander of Overwatch, with Gabriel Reyes becoming Commander of Blackwatch - Overwatch's covert operations unit and wing. This caused a split between Morrison and his comrade-in-arms and friend, Reyes, that would ultimately contribute towards the downfall of the organisation they both built, and perhaps even problems in the world beyond it. Previously a secret group, as Blackwatch's (we assume) actions were cited in rumour, gossip and their existance was finally revealed to the world, some of their members played no small part in Overwatch's downfall.
Who exactly were Blackwatch, beyond their leader, Commander Reyes - how did they fit into the operations of Overwatch, and perhaps bring peace to the world (in a different way), and what became of them after the downfall of Overwatch, following Reyes and Morrison's catastrophic battle in the Overwatch Swiss Headquarters? I explore in summary in this video!
Do you think any other Blackwatch agents are out there in the world, acting like McCree - or are they all bit more of a shade of bad, like the Talon operatives with ties to Blackwatch that we seemingly see in McCree's Comic, Trainhopper? Exactly HOW connected are Blackwatch and Talon? Is it a matter of personnel and goals that intersect for now, or is Reyes - or was he - more deeply involved?
