The first thing you need to realize about the Brazilian buttock augmentation is that this is a buttock enhancement procedure. It is not a belly procedure, a back procedure, or a thigh procedure. Patients get confused and believe that when they undergo this procedure, all of a sudden every single area of the body is going to be enhanced and no additional surgery is going to be required. Although, yes, liposuction is used to enhance the buttocks and fat is removed from multiple areas including the thighs, abdomen, sides, flanks, and upper and lower back, this does not necessarily mean that the areas where fat was removed will look completely normal. The main goal of the Brazilian buttock augmentation is to give you an hourglass shape and enhanced buttocks. Many patients who have this procedure—as a matter of fact, most patients—have gained weight, have lax skin, have had babies, etc. So, what does this mean? It means that when fat is harvested, let us say, from the abdomen, how your tummy looks will depend on the tone of your skin and the excess skin that you have. For example, if you have very good skin tone, you may have a bikini-ready tummy with the procedure and need no additional procedures to enhance your belly, but if you have excess skin, you are still going to have excess skin after the surgery.
Remember, the liposuction cannula is not a magic wand. You have to be realistic about what the procedure can do for you. The liposuction cannula does not suck the skin out. So, what happens after the procedure is that the skin is going to stay and look lumpy, bumpy, and uneven, and you will require a tummy tuck six months after the first Brazilian buttock augmentation.
Let me explain this concept in a very easy way to understand. Let’s assume that a circle, which is red on the outside, is the skin, and the yellow is the fat we are going to remove. Now, let’s see what happens when we do liposuction and fat is removed. Notice that the yellow circle of fat has shrunk down to half the size, but the red circle of skin is still a big circle, meaning that when the healing has subsided, this skin will remain and bunch up over the smaller body. You need to understand the limitations of the procedure. It is not that you are trading one thing for the other. It only means that some patients will require additional procedures to enhance all the areas that the Brazilian buttock augmentation is not intended to do.

Throughout the history of plastic surgery, there have been many breast lift procedures described in the literature. The type of breast lift you need will depend on the amount of breast sagginess you have. People have described different methods of transferring the nipple-areolar complex with its own blood supply and also creating different scars, among other things, but all of these techniques have one major flaw that will jeopardize your results in the long term. These different types of breast lift reposition the nipple-areolar complex to the right place, but use the skin envelope to support the new breast. The problem is that any patient who requires a breast lift by definition has very poor skin structure, support, and envelope, meaning that the skin is weak; if we use the skin as the sole support, it ultimately is going to give way and you are going to develop what is called bottoming out of the breast. Breast sagginess occurs because of genetics, gaining weight, losing weight, and pregnancy, among other factors. The reason that your breast sags is because it has lost support from the ligaments and the skin has been stretched, losing its elasticity.
After years of experience and doing lots of research and reading about different techniques, I have developed my own technique that solves many of the problems of the breast lift. I call this the Wonder Breast lift. The Wonder Breast lift is a procedure where the whole breast is reconstructed. I see the breast lift procedure not only as a lift but as a reconstruction: every aspect of the breast needs to be fixed in order to avoid early failure and recurrence of sagginess. With the Wonder Breast lift, I use your own tissue to remodel the breast. The tissue that has bottomed out is repositioned to the top of the breast, providing some fullness. In addition, the support and ligaments of the breast are recreated using the same internal structures of the breast, including the skin, the chest muscle, and suture suspension.
The wonderful part of the Wonder Breast lift is that it can be used to treat varying levels of breast sagginess, from moderate to severe, and the shape ultimately will have an implant-like look without having an implant. As you can see in this picture, this patient underwent a Wonder breast lift. She had moderate breast sagginess, she does not have implants, and she is a year out from her surgery. Here is another patient with more significant breast ptosis; the breasts have been repositioned in such a way that the whole breast mound has a nicer look and an implant-like look with one implant.
The Wonder Breast lift is the technique that I recommend to my patients if they want to stay the same size or be slightly smaller. For you to be a candidate for the procedure, you need to have a certain amount of breast tissue in order to recreate the breast mound. If you have absolutely no breast tissue and your breasts sag, this is not going to be the procedure for you, and most likely you are going to require a breast lift with an augmentation. Understanding the limitations of the different techniques will help you choose the best surgeon to restore your breasts to their previous form.

Before surgery, it is extremely important to have a physical examination to determine the type of buttocks you have. There are different types of buttocks, and one of the most challenging ones to correct with any buttock enhancement procedure is the V-shaped buttock.
What is a V-shaped buttock? The patient with a V-shaped buttock has a very small width at the lowest part of the butt compared to the top of the buttock. In essence, it creates a V.
These patients have the following characteristics:
1. They tend to be top-heavy.
2. They tend to be significantly overweight.
3. The buttock is very small.
4. The skin is very tight, not only in the central part of the buttock, but on the sides.
It is important to understand the V-shaped buttock. Patients with V-shaped buttocks are, in my experience, not the best candidates for a buttock enhancement procedure. Yes, you can have the fat transfer to the buttock, but the problem is that these anatomical factors are going to negatively impact the final results. To change a buttock from a V-shape to an A-shape—to make the lower part of the buttock wider than the top—is virtually impossible.
This is because:
1. The skin is extremely tight.
2. The skin on the sides of the buttocks has a limit on how much it can stretch when fat is injected, meaning that reversing the proportions you see on this patient is going to be a surgical challenge.
If you have this type of buttocks, you can still have the surgery, but you are not going to get the results you want. In my practice, I tend not to do this procedure on V-shaped buttocks, because even with my experience, it is impossible to get a result that the patient is going to be happy with. Yes, there is going to be an improvement, but in the mind of the patient it might not meet their expectations.

When it comes to buttock augmentation, one of the important things to get a good result is to determine prior to surgery what type of buttock shape you have. There are four different buttock shapes: A-shaped, V-shaped, square, and round. This is important because buttock augmentation is a major sculpting procedure. There are areas of deficiency and areas that will require augmentation. Some areas will require removal by liposuction. Ultimately, the main goal is to recreate an overall hourglass shape or A-shaped buttocks. In my opinion, these are the best and nicest shapes that I try to recreate with surgery.
The soft-tissue envelope surrounding the muscle of the buttocks and the body structure determine the shape of the buttocks. During the consultation, the surgeon assesses the buttock shape by measuring the width of the buttocks at the top, in the middle, and at the bottom. This is very important because ultimately the only thing that the surgeon can control is the removal or addition of fat in different areas. If you have V-shaped, square, or round buttocks, each will require different sets of surgical techniques to get a better outcome. In addition, assessing the skin tone is crucial to set expectations and also for the surgeon to determine how much buttock projection and shape transformation can be accomplished during the surgery.

The amount of fat that is used to sculpt your buttocks varies from patient to patient. These days, patients often search different websites in order to determine how big they want their buttocks to be after a buttock enhancement procedure. One of the main questions that I typically get is “Can I get 1,000 cc?” Some patients even request a certain amount of fat, not understanding that this actually has nothing to do with determining the result after a buttock enhancement procedure.
If you do not have enough fat, there are two options to enhance your buttocks. #1: You will need to gain weight, approximately 20 to 30 pounds above your ideal body weight, in order to have enough fat. #2: We can use a buttock implant combined with fat to achieve a very good result.
Before you have a Brazilian butt lift, it is necessary that a surgeon with experience examine you to see if you have enough fat to use. If we do not get at least the 700 cc mark of pure fat, you are not going to be satisfied with your result. In addition, you need to understand that even if you have enough fat, it does not necessarily mean that your buttocks can handle the amount of fat necessary to achieve your expectations.

The first thing you need to realize about the Brazilian buttock augmentation is that this is a buttock enhancement procedure. It is not a belly procedure, a back procedure, or a thigh procedure. Patients get confused and believe that when they undergo this procedure, all of a sudden every single area of the body is going to be enhanced and no additional surgery is going to be required. Although, yes, liposuction is used to enhance the buttocks and fat is removed from multiple areas including the thighs, abdomen, sides, flanks, and upper and lower back, this does not necessarily mean that the areas where fat was removed will look completely normal. The main goal of the Brazilian buttock augmentation is to give you an hourglass shape and enhanced buttocks. Many patients who have this procedure—as a matter of fact, most patients—have gained weight, have lax skin, have had babies, etc. So, what does this mean? It means that when fat is harvested, let us say, from the abdomen, how your tummy looks will depend on the tone of your skin and the excess skin that you have. For example, if you have very good skin tone, you may have a bikini-ready tummy with the procedure and need no additional procedures to enhance your belly, but if you have excess skin, you are still going to have excess skin after the surgery. Remember, the liposuction cannula is not a magic wand. You have to be realistic about what the procedure can do for you. The liposuction cannula does not suck the skin out. So, what happens after the procedure is that the skin is going to stay and look lumpy, bumpy, and uneven, and you will require a tummy tuck six months after the first Brazilian buttock augmentation. Let me explain this concept in a very easy way to understand. Let’s assume that a circle, which is red on the outside, is the skin, and the yellow is the fat we are going to remove. Now, let’s see what happens when we do liposuction and fat is removed. Notice that the yellow circle of fat has shrunk down to half the size, but the red circle of skin is still a big circle, meaning that when the healing has subsided, this skin will remain and bunch up over the smaller body. You need to understand the limitations of the procedure. It is not that you are trading one thing for the other. It only means that some patients will require additional procedures to enhance all the areas that the Brazilian buttock augmentation is not intended to do. Throughout the history of plastic surgery, there have been many breast lift procedures described in the literature. The type of breast lift you need will depend on the amount of breast sagginess you have. People have described different methods of transferring the nipple-areolar complex with its own blood supply and also creating different scars, among other things, but all of these techniques have one major flaw that will jeopardize your results in the long term. These different types of breast lift reposition the nipple-areolar complex to the right place, but use the skin envelope to support the new breast. The problem is that any patient who requires a breast lift by definition has very poor skin structure, support, and envelope, meaning that the skin is weak; if we use the skin as the sole support, it ultimately is going to give way and you are going to develop what is called bottoming out of the breast. Breast sagginess occurs because of genetics, gaining weight, losing weight, and pregnancy, among other factors. The reason that your breast sags is because it has lost support from the ligaments and the skin has been stretched, losing its elasticity. After years of experience and doing lots of research and reading about different techniques, I have developed my own technique that solves many of the problems of the breast lift. I call this the Wonder Breast lift. The Wonder Breast lift is a procedure where the whole breast is reconstructed. I see the breast lift procedure not only as a lift but as a reconstruction: every aspect of the breast needs to be fixed in order to avoid early failure and recurrence of sagginess. With the Wonder Breast lift, I use your own tissue to remodel the breast. The tissue that has bottomed out is repositioned to the top of the breast, providing some fullness. In addition, the support and ligaments of the breast are recreated using the same internal structures of the breast, including the skin, the chest muscle, and suture suspension. The wonderful part of the Wonder Breast lift is that it can be used to treat varying levels of breast sagginess, from moderate to severe, and the shape ultimately will have an implant-like look without having an implant. As you can see in this picture, this patient underwent a Wonder breast lift. She had moderate breast sagginess, she does not have implants, and she is a year out from her surgery. Here is another patient with more significant breast ptosis; the breasts have been repositioned in such a way that the whole breast mound has a nicer look and an implant-like look with one implant. The Wonder Breast lift is the technique that I recommend to my patients if they want to stay the same size or be slightly smaller. For you to be a candidate for the procedure, you need to have a certain amount of breast tissue in order to recreate the breast mound. If you have absolutely no breast tissue and your breasts sag, this is not going to be the procedure for you, and most likely you are going to require a breast lift with an augmentation. Understanding the limitations of the different techniques will help you choose the best surgeon to restore your breasts to their previous form. Before surgery, it is extremely important to have a physical examination to determine the type of buttocks you have. There are different types of buttocks, and one of the most challenging ones to correct with any buttock enhancement procedure is the V-shaped buttock. What is a V-shaped buttock? The patient with a V-shaped buttock has a very small width at the lowest part of the butt compared to the top of the buttock. In essence, it creates a V. These patients have the following characteristics: 1. They tend to be top-heavy. 2. They tend to be significantly overweight. 3. The buttock is very small. 4. The skin is very tight, not only in the central part of the buttock, but on the sides. It is important to understand the V-shaped buttock. Patients with V-shaped buttocks are, in my experience, not the best candidates for a buttock enhancement procedure. Yes, you can have the fat transfer to the buttock, but the problem is that these anatomical factors are going to negatively impact the final results. To change a buttock from a V-shape to an A-shape—to make the lower part of the buttock wider than the top—is virtually impossible. This is because: 1. The skin is extremely tight. 2. The skin on the sides of the buttocks has a limit on how much it can stretch when fat is injected, meaning that reversing the proportions you see on this patient is going to be a surgical challenge. If you have this type of buttocks, you can still have the surgery, but you are not going to get the results you want. In my practice, I tend not to do this procedure on V-shaped buttocks, because even with my experience, it is impossible to get a result that the patient is going to be happy with. Yes, there is going to be an improvement, but in the mind of the patient it might not meet their expectations. When it comes to buttock augmentation, one of the important things to get a good result is to determine prior to surgery what type of buttock shape you have. There are four different buttock shapes: A-shaped, V-shaped, square, and round. This is important because buttock augmentation is a major sculpting procedure. There are areas of deficiency and areas that will require augmentation. Some areas will require removal by liposuction. Ultimately, the main goal is to recreate an overall hourglass shape or A-shaped buttocks. In my opinion, these are the best and nicest shapes that I try to recreate with surgery. The soft-tissue envelope surrounding the muscle of the buttocks and the body structure determine the shape of the buttocks. During the consultation, the surgeon assesses the buttock shape by measuring the width of the buttocks at the top, in the middle, and at the bottom. This is very important because ultimately the only thing that the surgeon can control is the removal or addition of fat in different areas. If you have V-shaped, square, or round buttocks, each will require different sets of surgical techniques to get a better outcome. In addition, assessing the skin tone is crucial to set expectations and also for the surgeon to determine how much buttock projection and shape transformation can be accomplished during the surgery. The amount of fat that is used to sculpt your buttocks varies from patient to patient. These days, patients often search different websites in order to determine how big they want their buttocks to be after a buttock enhancement procedure. One of the main questions that I typically get is “Can I get 1,000 cc?” Some patients even request a certain amount of fat, not understanding that this actually has nothing to do with determining the result after a buttock enhancement procedure. If you do not have enough fat, there are two options to enhance your buttocks. #1: You will need to gain weight, approximately 20 to 30 pounds above your ideal body weight, in order to have enough fat. #2: We can use a buttock implant combined with fat to achieve a very good result. Before you have a Brazilian butt lift, it is necessary that a surgeon with experience examine you to see if you have enough fat to use. If we do not get at least the 700 cc mark of pure fat, you are not going to be satisfied with your result. In addition, you need to understand that even if you have enough fat, it does not necessarily mean that your buttocks can handle the amount of fat necessary to achieve your expectations. Although, yes, liposuction is used to enhance the buttocks and fat is removed from multiple areas including the thighs, abdomen, sides, flanks, and upper and lower back, this does not necessarily mean that the areas where fat was removed will look completely normal. The main goal of the Brazilian buttock augmentation is to give you an hourglass shape and enhanced buttocks. Many patients who have this procedure—as a matter of fact, most patients—have gained weight, have lax skin, have had babies, etc. So, what does this mean? It means that when fat is harvested, let us say, from the abdomen, how your tummy looks will depend on the tone of your skin and the excess skin that you have. For example, if you have very good skin tone, you may have a bikini-ready tummy with the procedure and need no additional procedures to enhance your belly, but if you have excess skin, you are still going to have excess skin after the surgery.
Remember, the liposuction cannula is not a magic wand. You have to be realistic about what the procedure can do for you. The liposuction cannula does not suck the skin out. So, what happens after the procedure is that the skin is going to stay and look lumpy, bumpy, and uneven, and you will require a tummy tuck six months after the first Brazilian buttock augmentation.
Let me explain this concept in a very easy way to understand. Let’s assume that a circle, which is red on the outside, is the skin, and the yellow is the fat we are going to remove. Now, let’s see what happens when we do liposuction and fat is removed. Notice that the yellow circle of fat has shrunk down to half the size, but the red circle of skin is still a big circle, meaning that when the healing has subsided, this skin will remain and bunch up over the smaller body. You need to understand the limitations of the procedure. It is not that you are trading one thing for the other. It only means that some patients will require additional procedures to enhance all the areas that the Brazilian buttock augmentation is not intended to do.

The type of breast lift you need will depend on the amount of breast sagginess you have. People have described different methods of transferring the nipple-areolar complex with its own blood supply and also creating different scars, among other things, but all of these techniques have one major flaw that will jeopardize your results in the long term. These different types of breast lift reposition the nipple-areolar complex to the right place, but use the skin envelope to support the new breast. The problem is that any patient who requires a breast lift by definition has very poor skin structure, support, and envelope, meaning that the skin is weak; if we use the skin as the sole support, it ultimately is going to give way and you are going to develop what is called bottoming out of the breast. Breast sagginess occurs because of genetics, gaining weight, losing weight, and pregnancy, among other factors. The reason that your breast sags is because it has lost support from the ligaments and the skin has been stretched, losing its elasticity.
After years of experience and doing lots of research and reading about different techniques, I have developed my own technique that solves many of the problems of the breast lift. I call this the Wonder Breast lift. The Wonder Breast lift is a procedure where the whole breast is reconstructed. Throughout the history of plastic surgery, there have been many breast lift procedures described in the literature. The type of breast lift you need will depend on the amount of breast sagginess you have. People have described different methods of transferring the nipple-areolar complex with its own blood supply and also creating different scars, among other things, but all of these techniques have one major flaw that will jeopardize your results in the long term. These different types of breast lift reposition the nipple-areolar complex to the right place, but use the skin envelope to support the new breast. The problem is that any patient who requires a breast lift by definition has very poor skin structure, support, and envelope, meaning that the skin is weak; if we use the skin as the sole support, it ultimately is going to give way and you are going to develop what is called bottoming out of the breast. Breast sagginess occurs because of genetics, gaining weight, losing weight, and pregnancy, among other factors. The reason that your breast sags is because it has lost support from the ligaments and the skin has been stretched, losing its elasticity.
After years of experience and doing lots of research and reading about different techniques, I have developed my own technique that solves many of the problems of the breast lift. I call this the Wonder Breast lift. The Wonder Breast lift is a procedure where the whole breast is reconstructed. Before surgery, it is extremely important to have a physical examination to determine the type of buttocks you have. There are different types of buttocks, and one of the most challenging ones to correct with any buttock enhancement procedure is the V-shaped buttock.
What is a V-shaped buttock? The patient with a V-shaped buttock has a very small width at the lowest part of the butt compared to the top of the buttock. In essence, it creates a V.
These patients have the following characteristics:
1. They tend to be top-heavy.
2. They tend to be significantly overweight.
3. The buttock is very small.
4. The skin is very tight, not only in the central part of the buttock, but on the sides.
It is important to understand the V-shaped buttock. Patients with V-shaped buttocks are, in my experience, not the best candidates for a buttock enhancement procedure. Yes, you can have the fat transfer to the buttock, but the problem is that these anatomical factors are going to negatively impact the final results. To change a buttock from a V-shape to an A-shape—to make the lower part of the buttock wider than the top—is virtually impossible.
This is because:
1. The skin is extremely tight.
2. The skin on the sides of the buttocks has a limit on how much it can stretch when fat is injected, meaning that reversing the proportions you see on this patient is going to be a surgical challenge.
If you have this type of buttocks, you can still have the surgery, but you are not going to get the results you want. In my practice, I tend not to do this procedure on V-shaped buttocks, because even with my experience, it is impossible to get a result that the patient is going to be happy with. Yes, there is going to be an improvement, but in the mind of the patient it might not meet their expectations.

There are four different buttock shapes: A-shaped, V-shaped, square, and round. This is important because buttock augmentation is a major sculpting procedure. There are areas of deficiency and areas that will require augmentation. Some areas will require removal by liposuction. Ultimately, the main goal is to recreate an overall hourglass shape or A-shaped buttocks. In my opinion, these are the best and nicest shapes that I try to recreate with surgery.
The soft-tissue envelope surrounding the muscle of the buttocks and the body structure determine the shape of the buttocks. During the consultation, the surgeon assesses the buttock shape by measuring the width of the buttocks at the top, in the middle, and at the bottom. This is very important because ultimately the only thing that the surgeon can control is the removal or addition of fat in different areas. If you have V-shaped, square, or round buttocks, each will require different sets of surgical techniques to get a better outcome. In addition, assessing the skin tone is crucial to set expectations and also for the surgeon to determine how much buttock projection and shape transformation can be accomplished during the surgery.

These days, patients often search different websites in order to determine how big they want their buttocks to be after a buttock enhancement procedure. One of the main questions that I typically get is “Can I get 1,000 cc?” Some patients even request a certain amount of fat, not understanding that this actually has nothing to do with determining the result after a buttock enhancement procedure.
If you do not have enough fat, there are two options to enhance your buttocks. #1: You will need to gain weight, approximately 20 to 30 pounds above your ideal body weight, in order to have enough fat. #2: We can use a buttock implant combined with fat to achieve a very good result.
Before you have a Brazilian butt lift, it is necessary that a surgeon with experience examine you to see if you have enough fat to use. If we do not get at least the 700 cc mark of pure fat, you are not going to be satisfied with your result. In addition, you need to understand that even if you have enough fat, it does not necessarily mean that your buttocks can handle the amount of fat necessary to achieve your expectations.

Though the landscape looks different than at its humble beginning, the city still welcomes enterprising people who gather to share their grand ideas and stake claims on new frontiers.
Dallas will always be remembered for one, if not two, shootings. The first and most shocking occurred on 22 November 1963, when President J F Kennedy was assassinated in downtown Dallas. The second shooting may only have been fictional but, when J R Ewing was shot by an unknown killer in the TV series Dallas in the early 1980s, fans across the world were devastated. Even today, the legend of J R remains strong, as does the legacy of President Kennedy.
Today the city is a mecca for the banking, electronics and oil industries, as well as for dining, shopping, arts and entertainment. Large scale developments of urban lofts, apartments, condominiums, retail and both indoor and outdoor recreational facilities are springing up across the city. Dallas is a young city with all the vigour of youth. Effigies of modern architecture rise like glass trees out of the downtown area. In 1841, it was simply a plan of 20 streets on the 256 hectares (640 acres) of south central America, claimed by a Tennessee lawyer, John Neely Bryan. Today, it is the ninth largest city in the USA, and including its western neighbour of Fort Worth, it is the nation's fastest growing metropolitan area.
Thriving at the bottom edge of America's Great Plains, Dallas has embraced dreamers and entrepreneurs for the better part of two centuries. Big D, as it's affectionately called, merges Southern hospitality with modern sophistication. Dallas will always be remembered for one, if not two, shootings. The first and most shocking occurred on 22 November 1963, when President J F Kennedy was assassinated in downtown Dallas. The second shooting may only have been fictional but, when J R Ewing was shot by an unknown killer in the TV series Dallas in the early 1980s, fans across the world were devastated. Even today, the legend of J R remains strong, as does the legacy of President Kennedy.
Today the city is a mecca for the banking, electronics and oil industries, as well as for dining, shopping, arts and entertainment.
