Lea or LEA may refer to:
East is a noun, adjective, or adverb indicating direction or geography. East is one of the four cardinal directions or compass points. It is the opposite of west and is perpendicular to north and south.
The word east comes from Middle English est, from Old English ēast, which itself comes from the Proto-Germanic *aus-to- or *austra- "east, toward the sunrise", from Proto-Indo-European *aus- "to shine," or "dawn". This is similar to Old High German *ōstar "to the east", Latin aurora "dawn", and Greek ēōs or heōs.Ēostre, a Germanic goddess of dawn, might have been a personification of both dawn and the cardinal points.
By convention, the right hand side of a map is east. This convention has developed from the use of a compass, which places north at the top.
To go east using a compass for navigation, set a bearing or azimuth of 90°.
East is the direction toward which the Earth rotates about its axis, and therefore the general direction from which the Sun appears to rise. The practice of praying towards the East is older than Christianity, but has been adopted by this religion as the Orient was thought of as containing mankind's original home. Hence, most Christian churches are oriented towards the east.

East Kilbride (Scottish Gaelic: Cille Bhrìghde an Ear) is the largest town in South Lanarkshire in Scotland. It is also designated as Scotland's first new town on 6 May 1947. The area lies on high ground on the south side of the Cathkin Braes, about 8 miles (13 km) southeast of Glasgow and close to the boundary with East Renfrewshire.
The town is enclosed by the White Cart River to the west and the Rotten Calder to the east, the latter flowing northwards to join the River Clyde near Cambuslang. This area was previously the site of the small village of East Kilbride, prior to its post-war development.
The earliest evidence of habitation in the area dates back to ancient graves found near the Kype Water to the south of the district. Roman coins and footwear have also been found in the area.
East Kilbride takes its name from an Irish saint named St Bride (or Brigit), who founded a monastery for nuns and monks in Kildare, Ireland in the 6th century. Dál Riatan monks introduced her order to Scotland. The anglicisation Kil, takes its root from the early Celtic monastics that St. Brigit is representative of: the Culdees or Céli Dé. The Céile Dé were 'the clients or companions of God'. In modern Gaelic, Cille Bhrìghde translates similarly as 'the clients or companions of Brigit.
The Lea Valley, the valley of the River Lea, has been used as a transport corridor, a source of sand and gravel, an industrial area, a water supply for London, and a recreational area. The London 2012 Summer Olympics were based in Stratford, in the Lower Lea Valley.
The northern section of the valley, although including several towns (Luton, Harpenden, Hertford and Ware), is mainly rural. Below Hertford the Lea flows on a wide floodplain, which becomes an increasingly urban transport corridor as it enters Greater London. Many of the upper sections have been exploited for sand, gravel or brickearth, and are now part of the Lee Valley Park.
From Hoddesdon a more or less continuous ribbon development runs south to the west of the river, running through Wormley, Broxbourne, Cheshunt and Waltham Cross to Freezy Water. To the south the wider expanse of Greater London includes the floodplain settlements of Enfield Lock, Enfield Highway, Brimsdown, Ponders End, Edmonton, Tottenham, Tottenham Hale, Clapton, Lea Bridge, Leyton, Hackney Wick, Old Ford, Bow, Stratford, West Ham, Bromley-by-Bow, Canning Town and Leamouth.
Mount Gravatt is the name of both a major suburb of Brisbane, Queensland, Australia and a prominent hill in this suburb. The suburb is situated in the south-east of the city and was one of Brisbane's largest. This was before it was divided into Mount Gravatt East, Upper Mount Gravatt and Mount Gravatt South; the last being changed to Wishart in the early 1990s. At the 2011 Australian Census the suburb recorded a population of 3,238.
Mount Gravatt hill was named in 1840 after Lieutenant George Gravatt who was the commander of the Moreton Bay Settlement for two months in 1839. Gravatt was later transferred to India where he died in 1843.
Between 1953 and 1969 electric trams ran from the suburb into Brisbane's Central Business District (CBD) along Logan Road. As Mount Gravatt was the end of the line, part of the area was known locally as "The Terminus". Since then public transport has been provided by buses operated by Brisbane Transport and a local bus company the Mount Gravatt Bus Service. The South East Busway is connected by a service from Mount Gravatt Central to the Busway terminal at Griffith University.

Lea Porter was just 19-years-old when she disappeared. She had just recently split from her 38-year-old boyfriend, Jesse Mine, who decided to head back East to get clean. Lea, heartbroken and homeless, reached out to friends on social media, looking for a place to stay. Her high school classmate, Christopher Waide, opened his home to her. A few days later, after no one had heard from Lea, she was reported missing. Both the police and Lea's brother, Maxx, were suspicious of Waide, and Maxx decided to befriend him as part of his own investigation. Maxx reached out to Waide one day, asking if he'd meet up and do a tarot card reading to help find Lea-- Waide obliged. Little did he know, Maxx was secretly recording their conversation. After repeatedly asking where Lea was, Waide finally confess...
Espérame está noche,
brindaré una excusa a su medida
me iré sin un reproche
porque prefiere creer en mis
mentiras
me encontraré a las 12:00,
la blanca luna llena servirá de guía,
me llevara hasta tus caricias para
que cumpla con mis fantasías,
ya sabes que te quiero pero no se
como escapar porque conmigo el
fue muy bueno y no lo puedo
abandonar
aunque me pierda en tú deseo
tengo en sus brazos un hogar,
un techo, un pan y amor sincero
porque cambiar ahora no,no,no
yo soy así, llevo grabadas
dos flechas en el corazón ( enamorada)
yo siempre digo si, estoy atada, no hay
nada que me impida estar enamorada
de los dos
llevo grabadas dos flechas en el corazón
yo soy así, llevo grabadas
dos flechas en el corazón ( enamorada)
yo siempre digo si, estoy atada, no hay
nada que me impida estar enamorada
de los dos
regresaré cansada él notará
una sombra en mi mirada,
después me dormiré a su lado,
y la mañana será otra mañana,
mil veces volverás a verme paseando
de su mano en una tarde fría
entiéndeme por ti me muero
pero disfruto de su compañía
ya sabes que te quiero pero no se
como escapar porque conmigo el
fue muy bueno y no lo puedo
abandonar
aunque me pierda en tú deseo
tengo en sus brazos un hogar,
un techo, un pan y amor sincero
porque cambiar ahora no,no,no
