    Who’s less likely to keep trying for hours online to book a test? To travel loads of miles in a car to get it? To afford to be off work for ages waiting for the result? It’s the same people who are more likely to get and suffer its consequences. They won’t get counted.

    BMA calls for a policy of near-elimination of Covid-19. NB this is NOT about "prioritising health over the economy". That's a false dichotomy. Failing to drive down case numbers is even worse for the economy!

    The BMJ has published a memorial page to UK doctors who have died while working during the covid-19 pandemic. At 11am today will hold a virtual memorial ceremony and 1 min silence to remember all healthcare workers who have died during the pandemic

    As a doctor who has experienced mental health problems I am sad that in 2020 The NHS does not have the culture right. The is right to highlight this issue. Doctors do not feel comfortable talking about psychiatric disorders and this has to improve.

    And I have seen little evidence in bars and restaurants that anyone knows people should sit 1m apart of on the same table. No mask, extended time face to face, shouting to end of table - virus heaven.
