Mini Gacha Game for fun

I've been saving Standard banner wishes for over a year now, hoping that they add an epitomized path there:

Last wish was more than 1 year agoSaved until I have 180 pulls, for 2 guaranteed 5stars

With the new banner type though, that will probably never happen.

Instead of just using them up quickly I want to make the pulling at least a little more fun so all that waiting and saving wasn't for nothing, so I thought of this little mini-gacha game.

Just post a comment here and I will do 1 pull in your name and then post a screenshot showing you "what you got" in a reply.

Let's see who gets those 5stars that are bound to come at some point, current 5star pity is 51 - the first one will probably be a weapon?

BeryL's reaction after winning Worlds vs Gacha game

https://www.fmkorea.com/best/5193455323

I found this really funny post on KR community that compared BeryL's reaction to winning worlds vs when he got a character in a gacha game.

Comments:

- "Don't let Keria see this"

- "Victory!"

- "Dominant victory for BeryL!"

- "Why does he look happier lol"

- "Is that Caitlyn on the bottom?"

- "If Keria watched this it would probably cause a lot of stress"

Why did you drop your previous gacha game(s)?

Feeling nostalgic after reading Arknight story spoiler in another post.

Here's mine:

GFL (JP) - Dropped soon after introduction of fairy system. The combat system went from chill team formation auto-battle, to requiring precise movements to dodge enemy hits or risk game reset. The fairy system adds another layer of complexity and grinding to the combat at which point I just nope out of it.

AK (JP) - Dropped after finishing episode 8 (final Lungmen arc / Talulah backstory). Too wordy; I still have PTSD whenever I remember Talulah eating bread at the old woman's house. Despite being way wordier, the end of the arc doesn't give that satisfactory oomph ala Blue Archive final volume either.

Umamusume (JP) - Dropped around first anni. Every run taking up 30 minutes to an hour is way too much. The side stories are hit-or-miss as well.

Some dude walks up to a nightclub

Bouncer: You’re AR5 and only have Amber, Kaeya, and Lisa? Get out of here loser

AR45 player shows up

Bouncer: AR45 with Zhongli, Raiden, Venti, and Hu Tao? Right this way, honored guest.

Player: Come back when you can top me.

Loser: I’ll show you, you’ll be sorry.

1 week later, Loser shows up in a tuxedo

Bouncer: Oh it’s you. I told you that you can’t be here. Get lost

Loser shows phone

Bouncer: WHAT?!! AR60 WITH EULA, ALBEDO, AYATO, AYAKA, KAZUHA, AND YOIMIYA?!! How did you do that?!!

Loser: First I used promo code GENSHINGIFT and got 60 free primogems. Then, I completed Chapter 1 explored Teyvat for Luxurious Chests with my Treasure Compass. That allowed me to level up really quick and pull on the banners for free!

Bouncer: Right this way, sir. I’ll show you to the VIP section.

The boss that you hate the most in your gacha game.

The boss that you hate the most in your gacha game.

Star Rail: The Aventurine boss fight. The reason why I hate this boss is because it forces you to bring an AoE skill or AoE ult character. Its 'Time For A Bet' skill summons 2 dice in phase 1 or 4 dice in phase 2, and every character must roll a total dice value higher than the boss's number to avoid getting hit by the skill (it only hits characters who roll lower than the boss).

However, to hit multiple dice at once, you must have AoE abilities. This means support characters, healer who normally don't have any AoE are guaranteed to get hit by this skill and stun them. Additionally, it wastes your turn and buffs because you cannot damage the boss when this skill is active.

Aventurine

Blue Archive: Goz. My hate primarily from phase 2. In this phase, the boss summons 2 clones, and to deal damage, you must attack the real one. Here's where the problem arises: the Blue Archive system doesn't allow you to choose targets or move students manually; students will only attack those closest to them. Typically, they'll target the middle clone and ignore the others. To move students, you need a character with a skill that can move them or focus their attacks.

However, you have to guess which clone is real, risking wasting your skills and skill points on the fake ones. Additionally, the boss can relocate himself with the clones after some time, and some of his attacks rely on RNG, which can force you to reset the raid.

Goz

Limbus: Trio fight. Welcome to a fight where you're forced to target a tank, and you're going to love it. The boss consists of one glass cannon, one tank, and Ahab. Normally, you can eliminate the glass cannon right away, leaving only two enemies. However, Ahab has a skill that forces you to target the tank, and Ahab can mark a character, causing them to take more damage.

All enemy attacks target the marked character, so you're forced to hit the tank, allowing Ahab to pick off your characters one by one with her huge dps. Just when you think you've almost killed the tank, surprise! The tank has a second health bar in its passive. You also can't focus on nuking Ahab right away because she also has a second health bar. If you don't bring a tank to take the marks, your characters will be picked off one by one. Due to how the combat system works, you almost never bring a tank to the fight in game. This is one of few fights where a tank character becomes super useful.

What is the gacha game you are most afraid of getting EoS

The title says it. But its not because the effort you put in but rather how good the game is as a whole, i myself would be really sad if Arknights one day ever got it. Im just way too invested into the plot and characters and its eye candy UI. I just wish Takt Op didnt manage the game like an utter failure... such an amazing art work and music composition wasted to nothing. Lam carried the game hard.
