Actually, silverlining, 30% atk for 2 turns after ult sounds pretty good and I have a physical team with Sus and Nat.
I'm right there with you. With how slow she is and how much ult charge she gets it's basically a permanent buff. I figured I'm gonna end up with e6 by the time Kafka comes out so I decided to bite the bullet and get Something Irreplaceable with my starlight.
I accidentally spent all my Starlight on standard pulls when the monthly reset hit this month, thinking it was the other shop where you could buy 5 of each 😭

My E2 himiko. 1 on my 50 pull and twice from losing 50/50 on limited banner. Problem is her edileons are not even that good. I only see E4 as worth getting. E4 makes her get two charges instead of one when breaking an enemy so instead of breaking 3 shields you can break 2.

Just accept that I got shafted by gacha, a natural part of playing a F2P game in 2023.
Just part of the psychological frustration tactics used by hoyo to have users rage spend. Isn't worth it, and I'm sure my luck will turn around in the future, haha. Just pray to RNGJesus and avoid spending when angry.
That and I'm sure Himeko will have her shining moment someday.

TBH while she is a little weaker, she scales exceptionally well when there's more than one target and her eidolons are pretty nice.
Her+Asta+SW is a super strong core for just about any content, especially when the likely best build for Himeko isn't a standard crit-carry, but a break effect focused one which requires level 80 to fully come into its own which is uhh, stupid expensive for most people at this point. So when people get to that point and start building her with a 2pc fire + 2pc thiefs + salsotto they're going to be pleasantly surprised.
Given that there's also very few times that you'll be fighting purely single target anyway, so people greatly oversell her weakness in that area.

Welt’s E1 is awesome, though — I was also a little sad when I pulled him again but then I read the eidolon effect (80% damage boost to skill) and tried it out.

It's simple: only pull on banners bc you want to build pity or get a certain 4*. That or hope to lose. Gets you the banner character every time :/

I got Clara in my beginner pull then pulled 80 on limited and got Clara again... Farmed all the jade in the game and rolled another 75 and still didn't hit Seele.
Was so angry I started a new account.

The only perma 5* i've gotten were 2 claras and 2 of clara's light cone. It hurts, she's a cool unit, but i have jing yuan and anything i'd use her in i find much more fun using jing yuan in.
You're in the same boat as me. I wanted Jings cone so bad man... nope clara card... fine I had her so not a huge loss. Then I pulled another of her card as my second pity on standard and then another clara as my lost 50 50 today...

You made the mistake of wanting a specific character and the gacha gods heard you. RNGesus does not play nice.
They really didn't, it's just RNG. When I pulled for Jing Yuan I had no Tingyun and no Sushang. I ended up with an e6 (+more) Tingyun and an e1 Sushang and I think like 1-2 March dupes. So I pulled mostly Tingyun. I had friends who did the opposite hoping for my results and were pretty salty.
Also as a reminder there are still all 4*s (including LCs) in the pool, you're only guaranteed a banner 4* every other 4* so technically "every 20 pulls" and then it's a 1/3 chance you get the one you want.

Because I was envious of the 'I lost the 50/50' types of comments. They were so prolific, I thought.. wrong, obviously. Anyway, the other purple characters weren't bad to get eidolons for, so it wasn't all bad.

it resets your pity counter, so if you got a 5* after 70 rolls, you go back to 0/90 on your pity counter (albeit this time you have a 100% chance to receive the unique banner unit when you do eventually roll a 5* again)

Just in general but I wish gacha games would have some kind of system where you’re you’re more likely to get a standard 5 you don’t have (or less E’s of). Like, not guaranteed but not the same chance as everything and you can still get get unlucky anyway -_-

I pulled SW and Bailu in the same day yesterday. Now I’m running some Janky Bailu + SW + Asta + YanQing team. It’s not bad but a bit weird. Not sure if it is an improvement from my MC + March + YQ + Asta which was pretty strong.
