When we were at the waterpark, the ground was super hot from the sun. Keren and I had to run to every shadow to save the bottoms of our feet. It was actually pretty funny and made running to the next ride even more exciting until it happened. Keren ran ahead of me and I was trying to catch up so I wasn't paying attention to where I was going. I accidentally bumped into this guy who was holding two ice cold drinks and he spilled some on the little girl next to him. I stopped and said I'm so sorry to both of them. The little girl didn't pay any attention to me though. Instead she looked at the man with the drinks and kicked his leg then stormed away. I looked back up at the man who had now spilled both drinks on himself from the kick. He looked angry. I ran. I ran so far away. I ran out of the park and back home. Keren is still at Volcano Bay.

Manta is a steel, flying roller coaster at SeaWorld Orlando. The attraction allows guests to encounter numerous species of ray before boarding a manta ray-shaped train that takes them on a 3,359-foot-long (1,024 m) roller coaster ride above the park, reaching top speeds of 56 miles per hour (90 km/h). Designed by Swiss firm Bolliger & Mabillard, Manta restrains riders in the prone position and features four inversions. The well-received attraction officially opened to the public on May 22, 2009. Their slogan is "Dive deep, fly high…".
SeaWorld Orlando revealed the concept that was to become Manta to a gathering of travel industry representatives and community leaders on April 2, 2008, although it had been in the planning stages for years. The exact specifications were not immediately revealed, but the park said it would be their largest single investment in an attraction, and that it would open sometime in 2009. The park also announced that the attraction would include a roller coaster, but that it would be more than just a roller coaster. Joseph Couceiro—vice president of sales and marketing—described the ride as "the next generation SeaWorld attraction" that would immerse guests in elements of marine life.
Artists' concepts of the new attraction were leaked onto the Internet in April 2008; however, SeaWorld officials would not confirm whether the images were accurate representations of the final design, but said that the roller coaster would have a gliding sensation. Searches of trademark applications uncovered an entry for the use of the term "Manta" as an amusement ride, and construction on a large site within the park had already begun. On May 29, 2008, park officials confirmed that the attraction would be named Manta, and announced additional details about the attraction.
Construction of the roller coaster track and attraction buildings began in September 2008. Superior Rigging & Erection built the supports and track. The ride's layout was completed in December 2008, and construction on other parts of the roller coaster continued into early 2009. SeaWorld began previewing the attraction in early May 2009, before it was officially opened on May 22.

Universal Studios
Universal Studios Inc. (also known as Universal Pictures) is an American film studio, owned by Comcast through its wholly owned subsidiary NBCUniversal, and is one of Hollywood's "Big Six" film studios. Its production studios are at 100 Universal City Plaza Drive in Universal City, California. Distribution and other corporate offices are in New York City. Universal Studios is a member of the Motion Picture Association of America (MPAA). Universal was founded in 1912 by the German Carl Laemmle (pronounced "LEM-lee"), Mark Dintenfass, Charles O. Early years
Universal Studios was founded by Carl Laemmle, Mark Dintenfass, Charles O. Baumann, Adam Kessel, Pat Powers, William Swanson, David Horsley, Robert H. Cochrane and Jules Brulatour. One story has Laemmle watching a box office for hours, counting patrons and calculating the day's takings. Within weeks of his Chicago trip, Laemmle gave up dry goods to buy the first several nickelodeons. For Laemmle and other such entrepreneurs, the creation in 1908 of the Edison-backed Motion Picture Trust meant that exhibitors were expected to pay fees for Trust-produced films they showed. Based on the Latham Loop used in cameras and projectors, along with other patents, the Trust collected fees on all aspects of movie production and exhibition, and attempted to enforce a monopoly on distribution.

Manta is a steel, flying roller coaster at SeaWorld Orlando. The attraction allows guests to encounter numerous species of ray before boarding a manta ray-shaped train that takes them on a 3,359-foot-long (1,024 m) roller coaster ride above the park, reaching top speeds of 56 miles per hour (90 km/h). Designed by Swiss firm Bolliger & Mabillard, Manta restrains riders in the prone position and features four inversions. The well-received attraction officially opened to the public on May 22, 2009. Their slogan is "Dive deep, fly high…". SeaWorld Orlando revealed the concept that was to become Manta to a gathering of travel industry representatives and community leaders on April 2, 2008, although it had been in the planning stages for years. The exact specifications were not immediately revealed, but the park said it would be their largest single investment in an attraction, and that it would open sometime in 2009. The park also announced that the attraction would include a roller coaster, but that it would be more than just a roller coaster. Joseph Couceiro—vice president of sales and marketing—described the ride as "the next generation SeaWorld attraction" that would immerse guests in elements of marine life. Artists' concepts of the new attraction were leaked onto the Internet in April 2008; however, SeaWorld officials would not confirm whether the images were accurate representations of the final design, but said that the roller coaster would have a gliding sensation. Searches of trademark applications uncovered an entry for the use of the term "Manta" as an amusement ride, and construction on a large site within the park had already begun. On May 29, 2008, park officials confirmed that the attraction would be named Manta, and announced additional details about the attraction. Construction of the roller coaster track and attraction buildings began in September 2008. Superior Rigging & Erection built the supports and track. The ride's layout was completed in December 2008, and construction on other parts of the roller coaster continued into early 2009. When we were at the waterpark, the ground was super hot from the sun. Keren and I had to run to every shadow to save the bottoms of our feet. It was actually pretty funny and made running to the next ride even more exciting until it happened. Keren ran ahead of me and I was trying to catch up so I wasn't paying attention to where I was going. I accidentally bumped into this guy who was holding two ice cold drinks and he spilled some on the little girl next to him. I stopped and said I'm so sorry to both of them. The little girl didn't pay any attention to me though. Instead she looked at the man with the drinks and kicked his leg then stormed away. Manta Roller Coaster - Sea World - Orlando, Florida
Manta is a steel, flying roller coaster at SeaWorld Orlando. The attraction allows guests to encounter numerous species of ray before boarding a manta ray-shaped train that takes them on a 3,359-foot-long (1,024 m) roller coaster ride above the park, reaching top speeds of 56 miles per hour (90 km/h). Designed by Swiss firm Bolliger & Mabillard, Manta restrains riders in the prone position and features four inversions. The well-received attraction officially opened to the public on May 22, 2009. Their slogan is "Dive deep, fly high…". SeaWorld Orlando revealed the concept that was to become Manta to a gathering of travel industry representatives and community leaders on April 2, 2008, although it had been in the planning stages for years. When we were at the waterpark, the ground was super hot from the sun. Keren and I had to run to every shadow to save the bottoms of our feet. It was actually pretty funny and made running to the next ride even more exciting until it happened. Keren ran ahead of me and I was trying to catch up so I wasn't paying attention to where I was going. I accidentally bumped into this guy who was holding two ice cold drinks and he spilled some on the little girl next to him. I stopped and said I'm so sorry to both of them. The little girl didn't pay any attention to me though. Instead she looked at the man with the drinks and kicked his leg then stormed away. I looked back up at the man who had now spilled both drinks on himself from the kick. He looked angry. I ran. I ran so far away. I ran out of the park and back home. Keren is still at Volcano Bay.

Manta is a steel, flying roller coaster at SeaWorld Orlando. The attraction allows guests to encounter numerous species of ray before boarding a manta ray-shaped train that takes them on a 3,359-foot-long (1,024 m) roller coaster ride above the park, reaching top speeds of 56 miles per hour (90 km/h). Designed by Swiss firm Bolliger & Mabillard, Manta restrains riders in the prone position and features four inversions. The well-received attraction officially opened to the public on May 22, 2009. Their slogan is "Dive deep, fly high…".
SeaWorld Orlando revealed the concept that was to become Manta to a gathering of travel industry representatives and community leaders on April 2, 2008, although it had been in the planning stages for years. The exact specifications were not immediately revealed, but the park said it would be their largest single investment in an attraction, and that it would open sometime in 2009. The park also announced that the attraction would include a roller coaster, but that it would be more than just a roller coaster. Joseph Couceiro—vice president of sales and marketing—described the ride as "the next generation SeaWorld attraction" that would immerse guests in elements of marine life.
Artists' concepts of the new attraction were leaked onto the Internet in April 2008; however, SeaWorld officials would not confirm whether the images were accurate representations of the final design, but said that the roller coaster would have a gliding sensation. Searches of trademark applications uncovered an entry for the use of the term "Manta" as an amusement ride, and construction on a large site within the park had already begun. On May 29, 2008, park officials confirmed that the attraction would be named Manta, and announced additional details about the attraction.
Construction of the roller coaster track and attraction buildings began in September 2008. Superior Rigging & Erection built the supports and track. The ride's layout was completed in December 2008, and construction on other parts of the roller coaster continued into early 2009. SeaWorld began previewing the attraction in early May 2009, before it was officially opened on May 22.

There’s more to this enticing location than just the shoreline, though. To get a sense of the city’s history, venture over to the Riverwalk. One of the most popular Fort Lauderdale attractions, the Riverwalk is where you’ll find the Stranahan House, which is considered one of the oldest buildings in town. Originally built as a trading post in 1901, it was converted into a home for the Stranahans, a pioneer family, five years later. Tour a replica 1899 classroom, and then mosey over to the King Cromartie House just across the street.
While Fort Lauderdale tours belong on the top of your itinerary, there are other must-see attractions just outside of town. Visit Butterfly World in nearby Coconut Creek to gaze at the winged creatures fluttering around the country’s largest butterfly house, and cast a line at the Deerfield Fishing Pier. Heading to Florida to See Disney, The Beaches or Just for Some Relaxing Fun? Here we give you a bunch of very helpful hints, tips and advice for getting the MOST out of your Florida vacation.
Tip #1. Weather Will Affect you - no matter when you come to Florida please know no matter what the forecast says, you will probably get rained on at least for a short burst. Hurricane season is June through November but it is the worst from late August through early October. Always keep applying your sunscreen as well as the sun is very strong in Florida.
Tip #2. There is more to Florida than just Disney and South Beach. Both places are awesome but there is so much more to visit in Florida, like the Everglades or the history of St. Augustine, or heading out to Ybor in Tampa.
Tip #3. Preplan and Prebook anything you can if it is during peak tourist season or it is a popular attraction. If you want to see a certain princess at Disney make sure you are making that lunch reservation two or three months in advance. Also, make sure you search online for deals on main attractions and hotels.
Tip #4. Driving in Florida is stressful. They drive super fast in Florida, except for the tourists who aren't sure where they are going or some of the snowbirds. So be ready for super fast, crowded driving and be ready to stop on a dime.
Tip #5. Use the cheap airlines to visit Florida. We all love getting our frequent flyer miles, but the cheap flights to Florida can outweigh the miles gained on flying a major carrier.
Tip #6. Florida is not the Deep South. Florida is a mix of many cultures and is not your traditional "Southern State" it has a great mix of latin, Caribbean and southern culture that tourists can really enjoy whether they are partying in Florida or Jacksonville or Orlando.

When we were at the waterpark, the ground was super hot from the sun. Keren and I had to run to every shadow to save the bottoms of our feet. It was actually pretty funny and made running to the next ride even more exciting until it happened. Keren ran ahead of me and I was trying to catch up so I wasn't paying attention to where I was going. I accidentally bumped into this guy who was holding two ice cold drinks and he spilled some on the little girl next to him. I stopped and said I'm so sorry to both of them. Manta Roller Coaster - Sea World - Orlando, Florida
Manta is a steel, flying roller coaster at SeaWorld Orlando. The attraction allows guests to encounter numerous species of ray before boarding a manta ray-shaped train that takes them on a 3,359-foot-long (1,024 m) roller coaster ride above the park, reaching top speeds of 56 miles per hour (90 km/h). Designed by Swiss firm Bolliger & Mabillard, Manta restrains riders in the prone position and features four inversions. The well-received attraction officially opened to the public on May 22, 2009. Their slogan is "Dive deep, fly high…". SeaWorld Orlando revealed the concept that was to become Manta to a gathering of travel industry representatives and community leaders on April 2, 2008, although it had been in the planning stages for years. When we were at the waterpark, the ground was super hot from the sun. Keren and I had to run to every shadow to save the bottoms of our feet. It was actually pretty funny and made running to the next ride even more exciting until it happened. Keren ran ahead of me and I was trying to catch up so I wasn't paying attention to where I was going. I accidentally bumped into this guy who was holding two ice cold drinks and he spilled some on the little girl next to him. I stopped and said I'm so sorry to both of them. The little girl didn't pay any attention to me though. Instead she looked at the man with the drinks and kicked his leg then stormed away. I looked back up at the man who had now spilled both drinks on himself from the kick. He looked angry. I ran. I ran so far away. I ran out of the park and back home. Keren is still at Volcano Bay.

Manta is a steel, flying roller coaster at SeaWorld Orlando. The attraction allows guests to encounter numerous species of ray before boarding a manta ray-shaped train that takes them on a 3,359-foot-long (1,024 m) roller coaster ride above the park, reaching top speeds of 56 miles per hour (90 km/h). Designed by Swiss firm Bolliger & Mabillard, Manta restrains riders in the prone position and features four inversions. The well-received attraction officially opened to the public on May 22, 2009. Their slogan is "Dive deep, fly high…".
SeaWorld Orlando revealed the concept that was to become Manta to a gathering of travel industry representatives and community leaders on April 2, 2008, although it had been in the planning stages for years. The exact specifications were not immediately revealed, but the park said it would be their largest single investment in an attraction, and that it would open sometime in 2009. The park also announced that the attraction would include a roller coaster, but that it would be more than just a roller coaster. Joseph Couceiro—vice president of sales and marketing—described the ride as "the next generation SeaWorld attraction" that would immerse guests in elements of marine life.
Artists' concepts of the new attraction were leaked onto the Internet in April 2008; however, SeaWorld officials would not confirm whether the images were accurate representations of the final design, but said that the roller coaster would have a gliding sensation. Searches of trademark applications uncovered an entry for the use of the term "Manta" as an amusement ride, and construction on a large site within the park had already begun. On May 29, 2008, park officials confirmed that the attraction would be named Manta, and announced additional details about the attraction.
Construction of the roller coaster track and attraction buildings began in September 2008. Superior Rigging & Erection built the supports and track. The ride's layout was completed in December 2008, and construction on other parts of the roller coaster continued into early 2009. SeaWorld began previewing the attraction in early May 2009, before it was officially opened on May 22.
