Warrigal Rd, Parkdale, pad sets new suburb record with $2.425 million deal
A NEW residential house price record was set in Parkdale when 42 Warrigal Rd fetched $2.425 million at auction.
This was a record house price for the suburb and the four-bedroom property had very strong interest over $2 million during the campaign, according to Hocking Stuart Mentone director Rod Richardson.

“We had buyers from outside the area including one from the country and a local family bidding for the home that was on 1899sq m. Good family homes like this are in short supply in the area,” he added.
“The auction started with a strong $1.9 million bid and the final result was above expectations.”
The home was privately set back beyond a long driveway and had been renovated and extended to give it a contemporary feel. It featured an open-plan entertaining area with vaulted ceiling, covered alfresco area, designer kitchen and solar-heated pool and a pond.
