Synopsis : A king looking for the map of a hidden treasure finds it in the back of a framed picture in grandmothers home. Realizing that some unscrupulous people are also in search of the map he tears it into two giving one to her for safekeeping. She hides it in her old gramophone box unaware that a dacoit is watching her. She gets kidnapped and her grandsons try to find her even as the king’s wicked cousin hires a magician to find the location of the map. Will grandmother be rescued and does the treasure fall in the wrong hands ? This magical ride through a wondrous land won multiple awards at the Moscow Film Festival, 1981.
Director’s Biography : Parvati Menon
After completing a degree in Law Parvati Menon decided to make her career in films instead and became one of the first students at the newly instituted FTII in the 1960s. A prolific director Parvati’s main concern in cinema has been children. She has taught, researched and written about cinema, while also writing, directing and producing many feature, documentary and short films. She has served as jury for many film festivals worldwide.

Personal life
Leela Mishra was married to Ram Prasad Mishra who was a character artist, then working in silent films. She got married at the very young age of 12. By the time she was 17 she had two daughters. She hailed from Varanasi, and she and her husband were from zamindar (landowners) families.
Career
Leela Mishra was discovered by a man called Mama Shinde who was working for Dadasaheb Phalke’s Nasik Cinetone. He persuaded her husband to make her work in films. During those days there was a severe scarcity of women actors in films; this was evident in the paychecks that the Mishras received when they went to Nasik for the shooting. While Ram Prasad Mishra was hired on a salary of Rs. 150 per month, Leela Mishra was offered Rs. 500 per month. However, as they fared poorly in front of the camera, their contracts were cancelled.

Mishra, Missra or Misra (Hindi: "मिश्र" "मिश्रा") is a surname of Hindu Brahmin communities, found mostly in the northern, eastern and central parts of India. The density of Mishra is more among Saryupareen Brahmins, Kanyakubja Brahmins, Sakaldwipi(Sakyadwipi) Brahmins, Maithil Brahmin, Bhumihar Brahmins, Utkala Brahmins and Upadhaya Brahmins in Nepal.
Mishra are Brahman by cast in North India. Since the Brahman categories were divided based on the knowledge of Vedas, we need to understand what Vedas entails. The Rig-veda is also a mystical text has information on yoga, the spinal current and the chakras, as well as the planets and their orbits. The Yajur-veda is the "Veda of Rituals" and contains 1975 verse-mantras in 40 chapters, many of which are similar to those in the Rig-veda and used in rituals, usually by the priests.The Yajur-veda, however, has two samhitas, or collections of verses, known as the Shukla Paksha (or Vajasaneyi-samhita) with the hymns and rituals, and the Krishna Paksha (or Taittiriya-samhita) with their interpretations. These were primarily for the priests to use as a guide in performing sacred rituals, such as the ashvamedha or rajasuya, since they also contain directions or formulas that the priests use along with the verses that are sung during the ceremony. The Sama-veda, the "Veda of Melodies," contains 1549 verses meant to be used as songs in various ceremonies. The Atharva-veda is the "Veda of Chants".

Zarina Wahab
Zarina Wahab is an Indian actress who was critically acclaimed for starring roles, such as in Chit Chor and Gopal Krishna in the 1970s. She has also appeared in Malayalam films including the critically acclaimed Madanolsavam, Chamaram, Palangal and Adaminte Makan Abu.
Early life
Wahab was born in Visakhapatnam, Andhra Pradesh. She is fluent in Telugu (her mother tongue),Urdu, Hindi and English. She was trained at Film and Television Institute of India (FTII), Pune. Wahab has two sisters and one brother.
Career
After receiving negative feedback about her appearance from film producer Raj Kapoor, Wahab worked on her appearance and attended film parties and events. She eventually got noticed and was cast in films. She was usually cast as the middle-class, natural beauty. Wahab appeared in Basu Chatterjee's Chit Chor (1976). Apart from it, she worked in Amol Palekar-Vijayendra starrer 'Agar', followed by Raj Babbar starrer 'Zajbaat', Arun Govil starrer 'Sawan Ko Aane Do', Vikram Starrer 'Raees Zada' etc. She earned a Filmfare Award nomination as Best Actress for her role in Gharonda (1977). She has acted in Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam films.

Prashanta Nanda
Prashanta Nanda (born 2 May 1947) is an Oriya movie actor and politician in the Indian state of Odisha. He worked in the Oriya film industry as an actor, director, screenwriter, lyricist and playback singer. He was also the former Minister of State of Odisha.
Career
In 1962, he debuted in the movie Nua Bou. Nanda worked as an actor, director, screenwriter, lyricist and playback singer. Nanda acted as male lead and directed the Hindi film Naiyya released in the year 1979. In 2009, his film Jianta Bhoota was released.
He was the Bharatiya Janata Party's (BJP) senior leader and Odisha state Vice President. He resigned from his membership in August 2007. After that he joined the Nationalist Congress Party and then became a member of Biju Janata Dal.

Synopsis : A king looking for the map of a hidden treasure finds it in the back of a framed picture in grandmothers home. Realizing that some unscrupulous people are also in search of the map he tears it into two giving one to her for safekeeping. She hides it in her old gramophone box unaware that a dacoit is watching her. She gets kidnapped and her grandsons try to find her even as the king’s wicked cousin hires a magician to find the location of the map. Will grandmother be rescued and does the treasure fall in the wrong hands ? This magical ride through a wondrous land won multiple awards at the Moscow Film Festival, 1981.
Director’s Biography : Parvati Menon
After completing a degree in Law Parvati Menon decided to make her career in films instead and became one of the first students at the newly instituted FTII in the 1960s. A prolific director Parvati’s main concern in cinema has been children. She has taught, researched and written about cinema, while also writing, directing and producing many feature, documentary and short films. She has served as jury for many film festivals worldwide.

Synopsis : After the passing away of his dad, Javed lives a poor lifestyle with his widowed mom in India. Since they cannot afford to live independently, they live with his mom's younger sister, Mrs. Haque, who lives a wealthy lifestyle with her husband and son, Sajjad. Mrs. Haque is very cruel toward her sister, compelling her to leave and bring Javed up on her own. Years later Javed has grown up, has acquired a sound education, returns home, to find that his mom is learning to read and write with the help of a beautiful young woman, Nazparvar, and soon both the youngsters fall in love with each other. Javed's mom approaches Nazparvar's dad to get them married, but at the same time her sister, who is now widowed, convinces Nazparvar's dad that Sajjad would be a better choice for his daughter, as a result the marriage takes place leaving both Javed and Nazparvar heartbroken, and they go separate ways. Years later they will meet again - this time Javed will be a lawyer - while Nazparvar, who is now a mother of a young son, Riaz, will be accused of killing her husband!

She has said that writers in camps are not merely focussed to creations on love affairs, claiming that they have been revealing very good stories out of their suffering and pain provoked by unfruitful camp life. However, she expressed her sadness over lack of women writers in the community.
Prior to her resettlement in the United States weeks ago, Nisha talked to Vidhyapati Mishra of the Bhutan News Service about her literary career and other related aspects.

Synopsis : A king looking for the map of a hidden treasure finds it in the back of a framed picture in grandmothers home. Realizing that some unscrupulous people are also in search of the map he tears it into two giving one to her for safekeeping. She hides it in her old gramophone box unaware that a dacoit is watching her. She gets kidnapped and her grandsons try to find her even as the king’s wicked cousin hires a magician to find the location of the map. Will grandmother be rescued and does the treasure fall in the wrong hands ? This magical ride through a wondrous land won multiple awards at the Moscow Film Festival, 1981.
Director’s Biography : Parvati Menon
After completing a degree in Law Parvati Menon decided to make her career in films instead and became one of the first students at the newly instituted FTII in the 1960s. A prolific director Parvati’s main concern in cinema has been children. She has taught, researched and written about cinema, while also writing, directing and producing many feature, documentary and short films. She has served as jury for many film festivals worldwide.

Synopsis : A king looking for the map of a hidden treasure finds it in the back of a framed picture in grandmothers home. Realizing that some unscrupulous people are also in search of the map he tears it into two giving one to her for safekeeping. She hides it in her old gramophone box unaware that a dacoit is watching her. She gets kidnapped and her grandsons try to find her even as the king’s wicked cousin hires a magician to find the location of the map. Will grandmother be rescued and does the treasure fall in the wrong hands ? This magical ride through a wondrous land won multiple awards at the Moscow Film Festival, 1981.
Director’s Biography : Parvati Menon
After completing a degree in Law Parvati Menon decided to make her career in films instead and became one of the first students at the newly instituted FTII in the 1960s. A prolific director Parvati’s main concern in cinema has been children. She has taught, researched and written about cinema, while also writing, directing and producing many feature, documentary and short films. She has served as jury for many film festivals worldwide.

Mrs. Haque is very cruel toward her sister, compelling her to leave and bring Javed up on her own. Years later Javed has grown up, has acquired a sound education, returns home, to find that his mom is learning to read and write with the help of a beautiful young woman, Nazparvar, and soon both the youngsters fall in love with each other. Javed's mom approaches Nazparvar's dad to get them married, but at the same time her sister, who is now widowed, convinces Nazparvar's dad that Sajjad would be a better choice for his daughter, as a result the marriage takes place leaving both Javed and Nazparvar heartbroken, and they go separate ways.
