Remo

Remo is an American drumhead, drumset, world percussion, and banjo head company founded by Remo Belli in 1957. They are well known for their highly successful WEATHERKING series, which is now seen on orchestral, world, marching percussion, and drum sets. In addition to drumheads, Remo also produces drumsets and ethnic percussion instruments.

History

Drummer and founder Remo D. Belli experimented with PET film as a possible material for the production of drumheads after World War II due to its consistency in tonal qualities and resistance to weather changes. Throughout the 1960s, it was a fight to gain market acceptance, as purist jazzmen preferred the sound of natural calfskin. However, these calfskin drumheads had to be frequently tuned with weather fluctuations. Remo Belli created convenience for professional drummers when he pioneered the use of Mylar, a synthetic polyester film for drumheads. Originally, the drumheads were white and opaque to help mimic the look of calfskin. Later innovations were clear drumheads, two ply drumheads (for added durability and depth), and simulated natural drumheads with a product called "FIBERSKYN", which is currently on its 3rd version.

Anirudh Ravichander

Anirudh Ravichander (born 16 October 1990) is an Indian film composer and singer. He made his debut in the Tamil film, 3 directed by Aishwarya R. Dhanush. The song, "Why This Kolaveri Di", that Anirudh had composed for the Tamil film 3, went viral on YouTube and tracked more than 100 million views.

Early life

Anirudh is the son of actor Ravi Raghavendra, nephew of Rajinikanth and Latha Rajinikanth, and cousin of Aishwarya and Soundarya Rajinikanth. His mother Lakshmi is a dancer. Anirudh was a part of a band in school called Zinx. At the age of 10, he started composing music and landed his first break – '3' at the age of 21

He did his schooling at Padma Seshadri Bala Bhavan, K.K. Nagar. He graduated from Loyola College, Chennai in 2011, which according to him was just a back up in case his music career did not take off. Anirudh learnt classical piano from Trinity College of Music, London. He also learnt Carnatic music, and was part of a Carnatic fusion band.

Sony Music Entertainment

Sony Music Entertainment Inc. (sometimes known as Sony Music or by the initials, SME) is an American music corporation managed and operated by Sony Corporation of America (SCA), a subsidiary of Japanese conglomerate Sony Corporation. In 1929, the enterprise was first founded as American Record Corporation (ARC) and, in 1938, was renamed Columbia Recording Corporation, following ARC's acquisition by CBS. In 2004, SME and Bertelsmann Music Group merged as Sony BMG Music Entertainment. When Sony acquired BMG's half of the conglomerate in 2008, Sony BMG reverted to the SME name. The buyout led to the dissolution of BMG, which then relaunched as BMG Rights Management. Out of the "Big Three" record companies, with Universal Music Group being the largest and Warner Music Group, SME is middle-sized.

Keerthy Suresh

Keerthy Suresh is an actress in the South Indian film industries. Keerthy was a child actress in the early 2000s and, after graduating in fashion design, she returned into lead roles. She played her first lead role in the 2013 Malayalam film Geethaanjali and has signed up films in Tamil and Telugu languages as well.

Early life

Keerthy Suresh was born to Malayali film producer Suresh Kumar and Tamil actress Menaka . She has an elder sister, Revathy Suresh, who works as a VFX specialist and had previously worked for Shahrukh Khan's production house Red Chillies. Until class four, Keerthy did her schooling in Chennai, Tamil Nadu. She then studied in Kendriya Vidyalaya, Pattom, Thiruvananthapuram before coming back to Chennai to join the Pearl Academy where she completed her degree in fashion design. She also spent time on an exchange program in Scotland for four months, before completing a two-month internship in London. Despite making a career in acting, she has stated that she was also "seriously considering a career in designing".

Music

Music is an art form and cultural activity whose medium is sound and silence. Planned by engineer Semenza, Vajont dam (263 meters) had to carry the electricity in all the houses of the country.
