Bob may refer to:
Jim Bob (born James Neil Morrison on 22 November 1960) is a British musician and author, best known as the singer of indie punk band Carter USM.
Jim Bob was born James Robert Morrison in London, on 22 November 1960. He changed his name because he did not want to be mistaken for, in his own words, "a fat, dead, crap poet" – in other words, the former singer of The Doors.
He played in various bands during the late 1970s and early 1980s, one of which was Jamie Wednesday who were performing between 1984 and 1987. In 1987 Jamie Wednesday split up just before a gig at the London Astoria. Morrison and Les "Fruitbat" Carter filled in, playing along to a backing tape, and Carter USM was born. In fact, Jim and Les had known each other since the late 1970s, when their bands The Ballpoints (featuring Jim on vocals) and Dead Clergy (Les on bass and vocals) used to rehearse at the same studio behind Streatham station. When The Ballpoints' bassist quit at the end of 1980, Les joined the band, who then went on to play several gigs under the name of Peter Pan's Playground.
Archibald Williams Hall (December 21, 1908 – April 28, 1978), better known as Arch Hall Sr., was an American actor, screenwriter, and film producer, best known for making a series of B-movies in the early 1960s which starred his son, Arch Hall, Jr. Hall used various names throughout his career including Nicholas Merriwether, William Waters, and Archie Hall.
Born in St. Louis, Missouri, Hall grew up in South Dakota, a genuine cowboy. He spoke the Sioux language and had a Sioux name, "Waa-toe-gala Oak-Shilla" (translation: Wild Boy). Hall graduated from the University of South Dakota, wrote for radio, interviewing elderly native-Americans on KOTA, and was a pilot in the United States Army Air Forces. Hall's experience in the Air Force was satirized in The Last Time I Saw Archie, a 1961 film by Bill Bowers which starred Jack Webb, Robert Mitchum, and France Nuyen. The film was loosely based on Hall's experience in the Army after being declared to be too old to fly fighters, but too inexperienced to fly bombers, leaving his only option to fly troop transport gliders.
Richard Dawson Kiel (September 13, 1939 – September 10, 2014) was an American actor, voice artist, and comedian, best known for his role as Jaws in the James Bond franchise, in which he played the character in The Spy Who Loved Me (1977) and Moonraker (1979). He was known for roles in The Longest Yard (1974), Silver Streak (1976), Force 10 from Navarone (1978), Pale Rider (1985), and as Mr. Larson in Happy Gilmore (1996). In television, he appeared as the Kanamit alien in the classic The Twilight Zone episode "To Serve Man" (1962) and as Dr. Miguelito Loveless' assistant, Voltaire, in first-season episodes of The Wild, Wild West (1965-1966).
Kiel made his acting debut in the Laramie episode "Street of Hate". He also acted in an unaired TV pilot featuring Lee Falk's superhero The Phantom, where Kiel portrayed an assassin called Big Mike.
Before film and television, Kiel worked in numerous jobs, including a nightclub bouncer and a cemetery plot salesman.
Kiel broke into films in the early 1960s with Eegah (1962), which was later featured on Elvira's Movie Macabre and Mystery Science Theater 3000, as were The Phantom Planet and The Human Duplicators. He also produced, cowrote, and starred in The Giant of Thunder Mountain. Kiel appeared as the towering — and lethal — assistant Voltaire to Dr. Miguelito Loveless in first-season episodes of The Wild, Wild West. He later appeared in the episode "The Night of the Simian Terror" as Dimas, the outcast son of a wealthy family, banished because of birth defects that distorted his body and apparently affected his mind. This episode is significant because it allowed Kiel the opportunity to really act rather than just look intimidating. Kiel also had a cameo role in a 1961 episode of The Rifleman.
Richard Allen Boone (18 June 1917 – 10 January 1981) was an American actor who starred in over fifty films and was notable for his roles in Westerns and for the TV series Have Gun – Will Travel.
Boone was born in Los Angeles, California, the middle child of Cecile (née Beckerman) and Kirk E. Boone, a well-to-do corporate lawyer. His father was a descendant of a brother of frontiersmen Daniel Boone and Squire Boone. His mother was Jewish, the daughter of immigrants from Russia.
Richard Boone graduated from Hoover High School in Glendale, California. He attended Stanford University in Palo Alto, California, where he was a member of Theta Xi fraternity. He dropped out prior to graduation and went to work in oil-rigging, bartending, painting and writing. He joined the United States Navy in 1941 and served on three ships in the Pacific during World War II, seeing combat as an aviation ordnance man and gunner on Avenger-class torpedo bombers.
In his youth, Boone had attended the San Diego Army and Navy Academy in Carlsbad, California, near Oceanside. It was there that Boone was introduced to theatre under the tutelage of Virginia Atkinson, who spawned theatre interest in many who eventually found their way to Hollywood. Robert Walker, another Academy graduate and member of the school’s theatre club, Masque & Wig, became a close acquaintance of Boone's.
Eegah (also known as Eegah: The Name Written in Blood) is a 1962 American horror film directed and produced by Arch Hall, Sr. (credited as Nicholas Merriwether), written by Bob Wehling based on a story by Hall Sr., and starring Hall Sr., Hall Jr., Marilyn Manning and Richard Kiel in the title role. There's a reason why
You can look up every night
And every star in Heaven's in its place
There's a reason why
The full moon pulls the tide
And the waves roll in to a shore that always waits
And just like that
Baby you belong
Baby you belong
Nothing's ever been so meant to be
Or ever felt so right to me
Every single part of me believes
Baby you belong
Oh, baby you belong
There really is no mystery
I think anyone can see
That baby you belong with me
There's a voice inside
And I heard it promise me
When you came along
I know you by heart
Like a familiar song
Every word is telling me
That the time has finally come
Now here you are
And I know for sure
Baby you belong
Oh baby you belong
Nothing's ever been so meant to be
Or ever felt so right to me
Every single part of me believes
Baby you belong
Oh, baby you belong
There really is no mystery
I think anyone can see
That baby you belong
Like the sun belongs up in the mornin' sky
For at least another million reasons why
Oh oh
Baby you belong
Oh, baby you belong
Nothing's ever been so meant to be
Or ever felt so right to me
Baby you belong
Baby you belong
Nothing's ever been so meant to be
Everything so right to me
Every single part of me believes
Oh, baby you belong
Ah baby baby baby you belong
There really is no mystery
I think anyone can see
That baby you belong with me
