Barbara Luna (born March 2, 1939) is an American actress with an extensive list of roles in film, television and musicals. Since 2004, she has used the spelling BarBara Luna professionally.
Notable roles included Five Weeks in a Balloon and Lt. Marlena Moreau in the classic Star Trek episode "Mirror, Mirror". She appeared during 2004 and 2010 in the first and sixth episodes of Star Trek: New Voyages, a fan-created show distributed over the Internet (and retitled Star Trek: Phase II in 2008).
Born in Manhattan, New York City, BarBara Luna (as spelled on her official site), was introduced to Broadway shows early in life. She was tapped by Rodgers and Hammerstein to play the daughter of Ezio Pinza in the original Broadway production of South Pacific, in which she sang the show's opening song, Dites-Moi. She next appeared in The King and I as one of the Siamese children, advancing to the more important role of "Royal Dancer" by the time the show closed on Broadway. Not wishing to drop out of school to go on the road, she auditioned for and won the understudy role of Lotus Blossom in Teahouse of the August Moon. A few months later, after graduating from high school, she was given the starring role of Lotus Blossom in Teahouse and toured with the show's company for three years.
All of my friends come to me and say
That he is hers alone
One by one they secretly confess
And then before they go
They tell me
Don't spread it around
Please don't ask me why
Don't spread it around
Just keep it between you and I
He must have
Told every girl in town
That he is hers alone
None of them know
That when she's not there
He calls another on the phone
And tells her
But don't spread it around
Please don't ask me why
Don't spread it around
Just keep it between you and I
The worst part of all
Is that I feel the same
As all of my poor friends do
I fell for his line
And gave him my heart
And now, I'm begging you
No, no, don't spread it around
Please don't ask me why
Don't spread it around
Just keep it between you and I
No, no, no, no
Don't spread it around
Please don't ask me why
Don't spread it around
Just keep it between you and I
No, no, no, no
Don't spread it around
