To install any of the links below, follow these instructions:

  1. Ensure you are logged in on your PC as the same Administrative user as you originally installed IDC.
  2. Ensure IDC is not running.
  3. Run the file (or, if preferred, Save and then Run).

Vista/Windows 7: If presented with a dialogue box asking if you wish 'repair' or 'remove' the software, select 'remove'. Your old program files will then be removed and the new program files installed in their place. Note that this will not affect your chart folio, registration details or any saved routes/waypoints/etc.

 

Please note that all software updates are cumulative. The most recent software update for any product incorporates any changes introduced by previous versions.

WARNING The software updates below are for 2010 or later editions of the software only.

If you have a previous 2008/2009 edition of the software, you MUST purchase an upgrade to version 1.10.x before running any of the updates below. Failure to do so will result in the disabling of some of your software functions.

 Imray digital chart corrections

Periodically we will release corrections to our digital charts (usually on a monthly basis). These will be made available for download from this web page.

Please be sure to read ALL the details and instructions regarding your particular download before contacting us with any issues or questions.
 

Please note that these corrections are for the 2010 edition of IDC. If you are running the 2008/2009 edition, you will need to upgrade your software before downloading.

 To install any of the links below, follow these instructions:

  1. Ensure you are logged in on your PC as the same Administrative user as you originally installed IDC.
  2. Ensure IDC is not running.
  3. Run the file (or, if preferred, Save and then Run).

If successful a dialog box should appear saying 'Completed'. You now have the latest corrections installed.

Vista/Windows 7: If presented with a dialogue box asking you to identify where the IDC file is, the install default location is C:\ProgramFiles(x86)\Imray.

For the latest chart corrections click on the red C icon above.

Please note that this will automatically install all relevant corrections for your particular chart folio(s).

Once the chart corrections are installed, the appropriate corrections for each chart will be available, either via the chart properties dialog (for general corrections), or for via highlighted icons on the chart (for location specific corrections). See the IDC Help pages for further information.

Free downloads of Peter Cumberlidge's recommended routes and waypoints for use in conjunction with Chart C30 are available here:

C30 Routes and Waypoints (2011 edition)

To install:

  1. Click on the icon above to run the download (or, if preferred, Save and then Run).
  2. A Self-Extractor window will now open. Click on Unzip and this will extract your bundled waypoints (.wpt) and routes (.rte) databases onto your computer. By default, the location is a folder called C:\ImrayChartUpdates.
  3. Once extracted, open the IDC software and choose Waypoints > Import Database from the menu. Navigate to your downloaded file location (if you've used the default location, look in C:\ImrayChartUpdates).
  4. Select the recently downloaded Waypoint file (.wpt) called Chart C30 - Master waypoint database and click on Open. This will import the waypoint database into your folio.
  5. Repeat steps 3-4 above, this time choosing Routes > Import Database from the menu, and selecting the Route file (.rte) called Chart C30 - Master route database.
