Turn may refer to:
A business, also known as an enterprise, agency or a firm, is an entity involved in the provision of goods and/or services to consumers. Businesses are prevalent in capitalist economies, where most of them are privately owned and provide goods and services to customers in exchange for other goods, services, or money. Businesses may also be social not-for-profit enterprises or state-owned public enterprises targeted for specific social and economic objectives. A business owned by multiple individuals may be formed as an incorporated company or jointly organised as a partnership. Countries have different laws that may ascribe different rights to the various business entities.
Business can refer to a particular organization or to an entire market sector, e.g. "the music business". Compound forms such as agribusiness represent subsets of the word's broader meaning, which encompasses all activity by suppliers of goods and services. The goal is for sales to be more than expenditures resulting in a profit.

This talk was given at a local TEDx event, produced independently of the TED Conferences. Approximately 30% of the employees in the Netherlands have no idea of the strategy of their organisation while approximately half of those working do not enjoy their job. Duncan Oyevaar believes that this must, and can, change. If people make it a sport at their department or their entire company to achieve better results in all respects and be rewarded for this with the help of the Great Game of Business, the commitment, creativity and return will improve and absenteeism reduced. Duncan is convinced that a sustainable change of people and organisations is possible in this way, that people can then enjoy going to work more and that this will benefit the Netherlands PLC in many ways. In my mind business is the most beautiful game in the world and school is a 12-18 year long tutorial to that game. The tutorial is a poor one, it beats out the entrepreneur in us and makes us timid employees who are afraid to play the real game -- it's created and taught by people who also never played. You either complete the tutorial, and end up playing someone else's game (employee), or you skip the tutorial, and create your own game (entrepreneur). The only way to become an entrepreneur, is to click skip, and play the game, or quit someone else's game and create your own. Doing is the key. Playing is the only way forward. Experience is everything. Business is nothing but a game. We've just hit 10,000 subscribers, and as a thank you for your support I've decided to start a new Q&A; part...

How many times per month, per week or even per day do you have idle time? Time that is left unused because you are waiting for something or someone? With our new technologies there are countless ways to be productive when you are waiting. And even when you get stuck in your current task, you might be able to get your creative juices flowing for another task in order to remain productive. Your free time is an important asset, which I think would be a shame to sacrifice when you are not as productive as you had planned. Using your idle time to your advantage can help you increase your average productivity and reduce lead times! Cheers! - Marco Janssen

Over the years as an entrepreneur, I've had the opportunity to model entrepreneurs. I want results. I want to be a real entrepreneur. If that describes you as well, this episode is for you. David is interviewing Brian Tracy, a writer, a professional speaker and a success expert. He is sharing the three qualities of a top entrepreneur: hard work, self-confidence and persistance. Then he develops the way to be self-disciplined: first, you have to plan everyday in writing on a paper, then determine your 3 most important tasks and focus and work on that, finally don't be distracted by electronic devices or emails before 11 o'clock because distraction is the opposite of discipline. He concludes with the general keys for success: Goal setting, improving the quality of your products by keeping studying and searching new ideas, set priorities.
