The Boeing 737 is a short- to medium-range twinjet narrow-body airliner. Originally developed as a shorter, lower-cost twin-engined airliner derived from Boeing's 707 and 727, the 737 has developed into a family of ten passenger models with a capacity of 85 to 215 passengers. The 737 is Boeing's only narrow-body airliner in production, with the 737 Next Generation (-700, -800, and -900ER) variants currently being built. Production has also begun on the re-engined and redesigned 737 MAX, which is set to enter service in 2017.
Originally envisioned in 1964, the initial 737-100 made its first flight in April 1967 and entered airline service in February 1968 at Lufthansa. Next, the lengthened 737-200 entered service in April 1968. In the 1980s Boeing launched the -300, -400, and -500 models, subsequently referred to as the Boeing 737 Classic series. The 737 Classics added capacity and incorporated CFM56 turbofan engines along with wing improvements.
In the 1990s Boeing introduced the 737 Next Generation with multiple changes including a redesigned, increased span laminar flow wing, upgraded "glass" cockpit, and new interior. The 737 Next Generation comprises the four -600, -700, -800, and -900 models, ranging from 102 ft (31.09 m) to 138 ft (42.06 m) in length. Boeing Business Jet versions of the 737 Next Generation are also produced.
The Airbus A320 family consists of short- to medium-range, narrow-body, commercial passenger twin-engine jet airliners manufactured by Airbus. The family includes the A318, A319, A320 and A321, as well as the ACJ business jet. The A320s are also named A320ceo (current engine option) after the introduction of the A320neo. Final assembly of the family takes place in Toulouse, France, and Hamburg, Germany; a plant in Tianjin, China, has also been producing aircraft for Chinese airlines since 2009. Construction of a new production facility in Mobile, Alabama began in 2013. The aircraft family can accommodate up to 220 passengers and has a range of 3,100 to 12,000 km (1,700 to 6,500 nmi), depending on model.
The first member of the A320 family—the A320—was launched in March 1984, first flew on 22 February 1987, and was first delivered in March 1988. The family was soon extended to include the A321 (first delivered 1994), the A319 (1996), and the A318 (2003). The A320 family pioneered the use of digital fly-by-wire flight control systems, as well as side-stick controls, in commercial aircraft. There has been a continuous improvement process since introduction.
Heathrow Airport (IATA: LHR, ICAO: EGLL) is a major international airport in west London, England. Heathrow is the busiest airport in the United Kingdom, busiest airport in Europe by passenger traffic, and sixth busiest airport in the world by total passenger traffic. In 2014, it handled a record 73.4 million passengers, a 1.4 percent increase from 2013.
Heathrow lies 12 nautical miles (22 km; 14 mi) west of Central London, and has two parallel east–west runways along with four operational terminals on a site that covers 12.14 square kilometres (4.69 sq mi). The airport is owned and operated by Heathrow Airport Holdings, which itself is owned by FGP TopCo Limited, an international consortium led by the Spanish Ferrovial Group that includes Caisse de dépôt et placement du Québec and Government of Singapore Investment Corporation. Heathrow is the primary hub for British Airways and the primary operating base for Virgin Atlantic.
In September 2012, the UK government established the Airports Commission, an independent commission chaired by Sir Howard Davies to examine various options for increasing capacity at UK airports. The commission shortlisted two options for expanding Heathrow in its interim report in 2013, along with a third option for expanding Gatwick Airport. The final report, published on 1 July 2015, backed a third runway at Heathrow.
http://www.baatraining.com We invited an A320 instructor at BAA Training to fly the B737 CL aircraft. It was his very first time in particularly this full flight simulator type. Do not be strict… Obviously without help flight would not have succeeded. This video proves that every type rating course is unique and very important. BAA Training headquarters is in Lithuania and counts more than 20 years of experience in aviation training, while its heritage reaches 1938 – the establishment of the Lithuanian airlines training department. In addition to training base in headquters it is able to offer training solutions in various Europe, CIS and Asia locations. Lufthansa´s last 3 commercial Boeing 737 flights took place on October 29 2016. From now, Boeing operated shorthaul flights will be fully operated by Lufthansa´s Airbus A320 family fleet. Due to this unfortunately sad reason, Mr. Martin Stiller (Fraport AG) enabled 20 Planespotters to take pictures on the apron of Frankfurt Airport, to get as close as possible to Lufthansa´s last 3 Boeing 737 arrivals at their homebase Frankfurt Airport. The guided apron Planespottertour was a huge adventure for every participant. The last 3 flights were operated by: D-ABEC „Karlsruhe“ from Geneva to Frankfurt D-ABEH „Bad Kissingen“ from Stuttgart to Frankfurt D-ABEF „Weiden i. d. Opf." from Nuremberg to Frankfurt Goodybe Bobby ! --- Am 29. Oktober 2016 führte die deutsche Fluggesellschaft Luftha...

I enjoy flying to Tivat. When the weather is good it is a good place to train your pilot skills, but when it is not, it is the time to show them. I'm a pilot flying. My today's first officer is very young, he finished his line training only a month ago. It is his first travel to Tivat, thus I'm showing him how things should be done here...

I just wanna be your ball and chain
Wrapped around your finger
Locked up, tied me down
Follow you forever
Never let you get away,
Holding on like a ball and chain
I never wanted to stay
In one place too long
Oh no, not me, I didn't wanna be
A victim of that fatal touch
When you want someone too much but
You, you'll be the end of me
And I don't want to hurt anymore
I tried my best to avoid
Making promises
Oh, no, not me, I didn't wanna
be a prisoner of that tender trap
When there's no turning back but
You, you got me on my knees
And I won't be afraid anymore
I just wanna be your ball and chain
Wrapped around your finger
Locked up, tied me down
Follow you forever
Never let you get away,
Holding on like a ball and chain
I know it's been some time confined to be alone
but I know I found the one who's gotts be this love jones
you know that I get open when you rubbing my back the goose bumps
and chills must be proof of that cos I'm feeling when your dealing
all the knowledge you've got about making it good
when your touching my spots I've goy lots of loving
when we bubbling it right I look forward to the time the day turns night
you've gotta meet me at the crib for the quarter to nine
and at the time love devine and what do I find
I won't be afraid anymore
The side of you be wanting me just haunting my fight boy be my ball and chain yo it's gotta be right
I just wanna be your ball and chain
Wrapped around your finger
Locked up, tied me down
Follow you forever
Never let you get away,
