A Rush of Blood to the Head is the second studio album by British alternative rock band Coldplay. Released on 26 August 2002 in the UK through the label Parlophone, the album was produced by the band and British record producer Ken Nelson. Recording started after the band became popular worldwide with the release of their debut album, Parachutes, and one of its singles in particular, "Yellow". The album makes greater use of electric guitar and piano than its predecessor.
The album was made available in August 2002, two months after its original planned release date. It was released on 27 August in the United States through Capitol Records. Capitol released a remastered version of the album in 2008 on a 180-gram vinyl record as part of the "From the Capitol Vaults" series. The album debuted and continued their huge commercial legacy, an ongoing pattern that began with Parachutes which made Coldplay one of the best-selling bands worldwide. It topped the UK Albums Chart upon its first week of release in the United Kingdom, and became the eighth biggest-selling album of the 21st century in the UK. The British Phonographic Industry has since certified the album 9× Platinum for its accumulated sales of over 2.8 million units in the UK and over 19 million worldwide. The album spawned the hit singles "In My Place", "The Scientist", and "Clocks". "God Put a Smile upon Your Face" was also released, but was significantly less successful.
"Amsterdam" is Guster's first single released off the 2003 album Keep It Together. It is also on the live CD and DVD Guster on Ice.
Wedding Album is the final in a succession of three experimental albums by John Lennon and Yoko Ono. It followed Unfinished Music No. 1: Two Virgins and Unfinished Music No. 2: Life with the Lions.
"John & Yoko", the first side, a recording made on 22 and 27 April 1969, is of Lennon and Ono calling to each other, through a range of volume, tempos, and emotions, over the sound of their heartbeats. The two recorded on individual speakers. Lennon described the heartbeats as being "like African drums", and the piece being "like an extended, very extreme John and Marsha that was out years ago by Stan Freberg. It really makes your hair stand on end." Lennon edited the two together on May 1, 1969.
"Amsterdam", the second side, had been recorded first, in a hotel room at the Hilton Hotel in Amsterdam, Holland, during 25–31 March 1969. The piece consists of interviews explaining their campaign for peace, conversations and captured sounds during the couple's "Bed-In" honeymoon. An early form of what would become "John John Let's Hope for Peace" forms the beginning of "Amsterdam". There were also four other musical interludes including Lennon performing a blues-style composition on acoustic guitar, featuring the words "Goodbye Amsterdam Goodbye". Ono sings "Grow Your Hair", a song regarding peace. Lennon sings a brief excerpt in a cappela of the Beatles song "Good Night". The last interlude is a short recitation of the words "Bed peace" and "Hair peace".
London is a 2005 independent film centering on a Manhattan party. The movie, produced by Paul Davis-Miller & Bonnie Timmermann, was directed and written by Brian "Hunter" Richards. It stars Jessica Biel, Chris Evans, Jason Statham, Joy Bryant, Dane Cook, Kat Dennings and Louis C.K.
Syd (Chris Evans) receives a phone call from a friend informing him that his ex-girlfriend London (Jessica Biel) is having a going-away party before she moves to California with her new boyfriend in a few days. Syd, who has been deeply depressed since London cheated on him, flies into a rage upon hearing the news, and wrecks his apartment. He decides to go to the party uninvited, bringing along Bateman (Jason Statham), a banker who delivers cocaine to Syd as a favor to their mutual dealer.
After arriving at the party at the condominium belonging to the parents of club girl Rebecca (Isla Fisher), Bateman and Syd install themselves in the bathroom, where they snort line after line of cocaine, guzzle tequila and discuss love, sex, God, women and pain. Over the course of the night and a massive pile of blow, Bateman tells Syd to get on with his life.
The County of London was a county of England from 1889 to 1965, corresponding to the area known today as Inner London. It was created as part of the general introduction of elected county government in England, by way of the Local Government Act 1888. The Act created an administrative County of London, which included within its territory the City of London. However, the City of London and the County of London formed separate counties for "non-administrative" purposes. The local authority for the county was the London County Council (LCC), which initially performed only a limited range of functions, but gained further powers during its 76-year existence. The LCC provided very few services within the City of London, where the ancient Corporation monopolised local governance, as it still does. In 1900 the lower-tier civil parishes and district boards were replaced with 28 new metropolitan boroughs. The territory of the county was 74,903 acres (303.12 km2) in 1961. During its existence there was a long-term decline in population as more residents moved into the outer suburbs; there were periodic reviews of the local government structures in the greater London area and several failed attempts to expand the boundaries of the county. In 1965, the London Government Act 1963 replaced the county with the much larger Greater London administrative area.

So let's take this slow,
as if I should even be one to talk.
Constantly moving on all my luck.
So fast, like a rabbit, then getting stuck.
I cannot give up.
In a briar patch I knew I would meet you
but I'm stopped, not sure it's entirely true.
Deja vu of people that I knew already
and what I did to them…this is getting heavy,
and spinning me places that I wish I deserved to be.
I have to block it before my intuition deceives me.
I rocket back to the earth like an alien
looking for blue-planet rays to become human.
I have a gift that tells of every curse,
so make a move for the exit.
But your laugh shakes me up and it makes me clean
between an XM pop-rock takeover queen and
an old friend who left a spell,
lifted every curse,
and made a move from the entrance.
So I'll get nervous one more time,
watching hands (not mine) shaking 'maybe' signs,
tying hair with a flare that's ready
to fly aboard civilian crimes.
They're knife-cutting all the lines.
I don't at all care why.
I'm staring like I've got a better idea.
I saw you scrambling numbers and
highlighting fluorescent wit
with a study pen on airline standby trends.
Believe me, I see things.
Not crazy.
I've come clean, not wasting.
Not lazy, done chasing.
I knew you would be there but I couldn't believe it.
My friends know I'm out there to speak truths and take dares.
A-B (row) 52, and it's 30 degrees.
I'm making sense with this movie
