London i/ˈlʌndən/ is the capital and most populous city of England and the United Kingdom. Standing on the River Thames, London has been a major settlement for two millennia. It was founded by the Romans, who named it Londinium. London's ancient core, the City of London, largely retains its 1.12-square-mile (2.9 km2) medieval boundaries and in 2011 had a resident population of 7,375, making it the smallest city in England. Since at least the 19th century, the term London has also referred to the metropolis developed around this core. The bulk of this conurbation forms Greater London, a region of England governed by the Mayor of London and the London Assembly. The conurbation also covers two English counties: the small district of the City of London and the county of Greater London. The latter constitutes the vast majority of London, though historically it was split between Middlesex (a now abolished county), Essex, Surrey, Kent and Hertfordshire.

Not my best trip to Heathrow, and probably not my best video, but hey ho, it was worth uploading I guess. Rooting to the problem, I had planned to visit to do a good 5 hours of 09L landings from the Thistle Hotel, well that plan didn't go to plan, as a slight change in wind direction (Which I didn't see coming) prompted ATC to switch runways back to 'Westerlies' on the 27 Approach. I had got here at 13:40, and spent about 10 minutes filming 09L landings before the switch, then only had an hour of filming take offs on 27R before the daily switch at 3pm, afterword arrivals were on 27R, and take offs on 27L, that said, that only lasted an extra hour, and at around 16:00, they reverted back to 09L which meant I could resume the original plan, without half the movements I wanted to catch, such ...
Britain s Busiest Airport Heathrow S01E02 Turnaround Documentary
This video is property of Train_PlaneHub, "RachaelMatt" 1080p HD! Well its fair to say this trip to Heathrow didn't go quite to plan. On our way to Hatton Cross the Piccadilly tube line was suspended due to trespassers on the line in the Hatton Cross area! So we were forced to take the bus which didn't get us there until 2pm so we only had an hour or so before the runways swap. So this is what we caught in that short hour of Heathrow departures between 2 - 3pm. INCLUDES: British Airways 747's & 777's, Emirates A380, Virgin 747, American Airlines 777's, United 777, Aeroflot A330, Delta 767-400, Air Canada 777 and a Vietnam 787-9 seen departing the opposite runway after the 3pm runway swap. Some incredible sounds particularly the 747's & 777's! Thanks for watching COMMENT, THUMBS UP,...

The proposition for a third runway at London Heathrow Airport (LHR) has been passed by the government. But what does this mean? With so many arguments for and against, I explore both sides before making my overall judgement. Well, for your info I have left the time stamps of everything interesting below, that includes the 787's, A350's, A380's and more! If you can't watch the whole video, no one is forcing you either! So please take your time and try to enjoy it. Also yes I know there are tonnes of trees, lamp posts, lorries etc in the way, but there is nothing I can do, this is quite a decent spot for 09 Arrivals, in which you can see some of the touchdowns, more so than you can at Myrtle Avenue, please enjoy seeing the planes and ignore the obstructions as they are really mi...

61 Heavy Arrivals in 35 Minutes!! This video is property of Train_PlaneHub, "RachaelMatt" 1080p HD! A typically grey Autumn afternoon at London Heathrow Airport. Easterly operations meaning RWY09L being used for arrivals and a cold wind bringing the Scandinavian chill across to the UK! Some very nice surprises this day, without even realising it, this day was the first day Finnair operated their brand new A350 into Heathrow so when I found out that was due at around 17:45 I figured I'd wait and see it! In the mean time though a great variety of other heavies, lots of variants of A380's and a unexpected arrival from the Royal Brunei Government Airbus A340! AIRCRAFT FEATURED: Airbus A330: Virgin Atlantic, EgyptAir, Gulf Air, Royal Jordanian Airbus A340: Virgin Atlantic, Turkish, ...
This video is property of Train_PlaneHub, "RachaelMatt" 1080p HD! A warm summers evening at London Heathrow Airport on Wednesday 17th August 2016. A nice sunny day, with easterly operations so I headed down to LHR to catch some RWY09L arrivals. This video includes every "heavy" or "widebody" arrival from about 16:00 until 19:40! Lots of variety, lots of aircraft and lots of airlines... You'd expect nothing less from Heathrow I'm sure. The only non-heavy featured is an Aer Lingus A320 in the retro livery, other than that everything else featured is either a 757 or bigger! INCLUDES: British Airways 747, 767's, 777's, 787's & A380, Virgin Atlantic 787's & A330, Qatar 777, Turkish A330, Etihad A340-600, Malaysian Airlines A380, Turkmenistan 757, Saudia 777, Kuwait Airways A330, Jet Air...
So let's take this slow,
as if I should even be one to talk.
Constantly moving on all my luck.
So fast, like a rabbit, then getting stuck.
I cannot give up.
In a briar patch I knew I would meet you
but I'm stopped, not sure it's entirely true.
Deja vu of people that I knew already
and what I did to them…this is getting heavy,
and spinning me places that I wish I deserved to be.
I have to block it before my intuition deceives me.
I rocket back to the earth like an alien
looking for blue-planet rays to become human.
I have a gift that tells of every curse,
so make a move for the exit.
But your laugh shakes me up and it makes me clean
between an XM pop-rock takeover queen and
an old friend who left a spell,
lifted every curse,
and made a move from the entrance.
So I'll get nervous one more time,
watching hands (not mine) shaking 'maybe' signs,
tying hair with a flare that's ready
to fly aboard civilian crimes.
They're knife-cutting all the lines.
I don't at all care why.
I'm staring like I've got a better idea.
I saw you scrambling numbers and
highlighting fluorescent wit
with a study pen on airline standby trends.
Believe me, I see things.
Not crazy.
I've come clean, not wasting.
Not lazy, done chasing.
I knew you would be there but I couldn't believe it.
My friends know I'm out there to speak truths and take dares.
A-B (row) 52, and it's 30 degrees.
I'm making sense with this movie
