Collider Jedi Council - Guests Ashley Eckstein(Ahsoka Tano) & JA Taylor(Obi Wan Kenobi)
Today is
April 21st, 2016 and it’s another
Collider Jedi Council hosted by
Kristian Harloff,
Mark Ellis and
Tiffany Smith; with very special guests
James Arnold Taylor and
Ashley Eckstein!
J.J. Abrams Talks Rey’s
Parents in
Force Awakens
What better way to celebrate
Star Wars and the news for all the movies out there than by having
Ahsoka and Obi-Wan on the show? Ashley Eckstein and James Arnold Taylor, the voice actors from
Star Wars The Clone Wars and
Rebels join the council and up first, all the speculation surrounding the parentage of Rey’s parents!
Pretty nice having two
Jedi on the panel to weigh in with their own wisdom.
Set Pics and Videos from
Episode VIII
Next, the panel discuss the awesome set photos that came from the
Princes,’
William and
Harry visit to
Pinewood studios in
London.
The Royal Crew were able to play with lightsabers, take pictures with Wookiees and sit in some spaceships with
Luke Skywalker watching over. And because of the visit, a familiar ship was seen in the pics, that being the classic A-wing last seen in
Return of the Jedi!
Oscar Isaac Talks Episode VIII as an
Independent Movie
A while back it was reported that
Lawrence Kasdan, writer of
The Force Awakens, said that
Rian Johnson’s Episode VIII will be like no other Star Wars movie ever. And because of that, fans are excited – including cast members like Oscar Isaac, who talked briefly about the shoot, comparing
Johnson’s Star Wars movie to the likes of an independent movie. The panel look at these statements and speculate that the movie is most likely taking some risks like independent movies tend to do.
Details Revealed for Rey and
Luke’s Costumes in Episode VIII
From Makingstarwars.net comes a report about the costumes that are reportedly being worn by
Daisy Ridley’s Rey and
Mark Hamill’s Luke Skywalker. Though it can be considered spoiler-ish, the panel do talk a bit about the proposed designs, adding more fuel to their burning desire to see what Johnson’s Star Wars movie has to offer.
Noah Segan Rumored for Episode VIII
Like DeNiro to
Scorsese, Noah Segan has been in every movie Rian Johnson has ever made with
Birth Movies Death reporting that the actor is headed to Pinewood for unknown reasons.
Hint, to shoot something in Episode VIII. Duh. What part he is playing is a whole other story because, naturally, no one knows other than the actor and crew members. Or maybe, he’s just visiting his buddy on set.
Warwick Davis to
Host Star Wars Celebration 2016
News from the people at Lucasfilm reveals that
Willow and
Wicket actor Warwick Davis will host the awesome celebration for the fans, the 2016 Star Wars Celebration convention!
The convention this time will be held in
Europe in the middle of July and the panel wonder just how many announcements will be made either about
Rogue One, Episode VIII and
Star Wars Rebels,
Season 3.
Norman Reedus Wants to
Play a Stormtrooper
When fans found out that
Daniel Craig portrayed a stormtrooper in Force Awakens, it un-officially opened the door for celebrities who also want to get in on the action. And sure enough, Norman Reedus now claims he wants to be a stormtrooper as well. With his part in
The Walking Dead questionable now after that season finale, could he maybe looking for work as a stormtrooper?
