Lynne Lipton is an American film, stage, television and voice actress.
She is best remembered for providing most of the voices of the female characters on the popular 1980s animated series ThunderCats. She voiced Luna of the Lunatacs; Willa, Queen of the Warrior Maidens; Female Unicorn Guardian; Wilykit; Mandora; and, most importantly, Cheetara (a role she later reprised for an episode of Family Guy). She was in the Second City company in Chicago in the 1969-70, and The Committee in Los Angeles and San Francisco. She made her Broadway debut standing by for Bernadette Peters in the ill-fated musical of the classic La Strada, choreographed by Alvin Ailey and directed by Alan Schnieder. It lasted one performance. Her Broadway credits include the original production of David Rabe's Boom Boom Room at Lincoln Center's Vivian Beaumont, performing the matinees for Madeline Kahn, and Sherlock Holmes with the Royal Shakespeare Company. She won several Cleo awards for her voiceover and animation work. In the mid-eighties Ad Age dubbed her the Meryl Streep of the microphone. For two seasons in the early 70's, she appeared on the David Frost Review, with fellow actors Cleavon Little, Marcia Rodd, Jack Guilford.
CBS Radio Mystery Theater (a.k.a. Radio Mystery Theater and Mystery Theater, sometimes abbreviated as CBSRMT) was a radio drama series created by Himan Brown that was broadcast on CBS Radio Network affiliates from 1974 to 1982, and later in the early 2000s was carried by the NPR satellite feed.
The format was similar to that of classic old time radio shows like The Mysterious Traveler and The Whistler, in that the episodes were introduced by a host (E. G. Marshall) who provided pithy wisdom and commentary throughout. Unlike the hosts of those earlier programs, Marshall is fully mortal, merely someone whose heightened insight and erudition plunge the listener into the world of the macabre (in a manner similar to that of "The Man in Black" on yet another old time radio program, Suspense).
As with Himan Brown's prior Inner Sanctum Mysteries, each episode of CBS Radio Mystery Theater opened and closed with the ominous sound of a creaking crypt door, accompanied by Marshall's disturbing utterance, "Come in!… Welcome. I'm E. G. Marshall." This was followed by one of Marshall's other catchphrases, usually either "The sound of suspense" or "The fear you can hear." At the conclusion, the door would swing shut, preceded by Marshall's classic sign off, "Until next time, pleasant… dreams?" Marshall hosted the program from January 1974 until February 1982, when actress Tammy Grimes took over for the series' last season, maintaining the format.
Schoolhouse Rock! is an American interstitial programming series of animated musical educational short films (and later, videos) that aired during the Saturday morning children's programming on the U.S. television network ABC. The topics covered included grammar, science, economics, history, mathematics, and civics. The series' original run lasted from 1973 to 1985; it was later revived with both old and new episodes airing from 1993 to 1999. Additional episodes were produced in 2009 for direct-to-video release.
Schoolhouse Rock! began as a commercial advertising venture by David McCall, half of the Madison Avenue advertising agency McCaffrey & McCall. The idea came to McCall when he noticed one of his sons, who was having trouble in school remembering the multiplication tables, knew the lyrics to then-current rock songs.
The first song recorded was "Three Is a Magic Number", written by Bob Dorough. It tested well, so a children's record was compiled and released. Tom Yohe listened to the first song, and began to doodle pictures to go with the lyrics. He told McCall that the songs would make good animation.
Daylight, or the light of day, is the combination of all direct and indirect sunlight during the daytime. This includes direct sunlight, diffuse sky radiation, and (often) both of these reflected from the Earth and terrestrial objects. Sunlight scattered or reflected from objects in outer space (that is, beyond the Earth's atmosphere) is not generally considered daylight. Thus, moonlight is never considered daylight, despite being "indirect sunlight". Daytime is the period of time each day when daylight occurs. Daylight happens because the earth rotates and either side the sun shines on is considered daylight.
Daylight is present at a particular location, to some degree, whenever the sun is above the horizon at that location. (This is true for slightly more than 50% of the Earth at any given time. For an explanation of why it is not exactly half, see here). However, the outdoor illuminance can vary from 120,000 lux for direct sunlight at noon, which may cause eye pain, to less than 5 lux for thick storm clouds with the sun at the horizon (even <1 lux for the most extreme case), which may make shadows from distant street lights visible. It may be darker under unusual circumstances such as a solar eclipse or very high levels of atmospheric smoke (See New England's Dark Day), dust, or volcanic ash.

Sie erlebten den Tagesanbruch und das damit einhergehende Schichtende: "Daylight come and me wanna go home". Dieser Refrain ist ebenso wie die Melodie allen frühen, traditionellen Versionen des Liedes gemeinsam. Die Strophen variierten jedoch und wurden oft wahrscheinlich aus dem Stegreif erfunden. ------------------------------------------------------------------- Day-o, Day-ay-ay-o Daylight come and me wan' go home Day, me say day, me say day, me say day Me say day, me say day-ay-ay-o Daylight come and me wan...

In 1984, an American dub was released known as B.C. Rock. It was released in select theaters and home video by Almi Pictures. Major changes to the film included newly-written dialogue by the comedy duo The Funny Boys (Vallely and Schmock), recut footage, different voices, different instrumental score, the absence of the narrator (with the main character telling the story), and nearly all the songs written and performed by Leo Sayer have been replaced by songs by other artists, in order to attract a wider audience. Though several bootleg DVDs are available online, there are currently no plans for an official DVD release.
