"Fox News personality Greg Gutfeld accused Pope Francis of being “the most dangerous person on the planet” because he is seeking “strange new respect” from adversaries on climate change. On Tuesday night’s episode of The Five, the panel discussed the pontiff’s leaked encyclical that warns of “unprecedented destruction of the ecosystem” unless drastic changes to lifestyle and energy consumption are made globally. Gutfeld accused the pope of having a “Marxist” background and Malthusian belief system. “And that is what the Pope is doing. He doesn’t want to be your grandfather’s pope. He wants to be a modern pope. All he needs is dreadlocks and a dog with a bandanna and he could be on Occupy Wall Street,” Gutfeld ranted, in a video clip procured by Media Matters." The London Mayor and Tory MP told the cabbie to ‘f*** off and die’. In case he had been misunderstood, the mayor reiterated his position on the matter, saying: ‘Why don’t you f*** off and die – and not in that order.’ It was just after midnight and Mr Johnson was cycling home along St John’s Street in Islington, North London, after attending a dinner, when the cabbie saw him driving the same way and decided to heckle him. The driver was apparently irate over the mayor’s perceived lack of support for black-cab drivers in their battle with controversial minicab booking firm Uber. Share this article Share 832 shares He seized the opportunity to give Mr Johnson his opinion by leaning out of his cab window and gesticulating vigorously with his hand, while simultaneously shouting: ‘You’re one of them, mate.’ A video filmed by a passerby reveals the foul-mouthed response from Mr Johnson, who is tipped as a future leader of the Conservative Party. Wearing a yellow cycling helmet with his trademark blonde mop poking out the sides, Mr Johnson swore at the startled taxi driver. The cabbie, continuing his vulgar hand gesture, repeats: ‘That’s what you are: one of them.’ HOW DOES THE UBER APP WORK? The Uber smartphone app has blamed for taking business away from licensed taxi drivers. With a few swipes of a smartphone screen, users can hail an Uber cab within three to four minutes. The app finds where they are by using the phone’s global positioning system and connects them with the nearest available driver. Uber then texts customers when their cab arrives. Customers can also view rates and enter pick-up and drop-off locations to get a quote for the trip. Users do not even need to use cash. Once they arrive at the destination, the fare is automatically charged to their credit card on file, and a receipt is emailed. Drivers take 80 per cent of the fare; the other 20 per cent goes to Uber. Yesterday afternoon, a journey by black cab from Trafalgar Square to Kensington Palace in London cost £15 on the meter. The same four-mile journey with Uber was quoted at £7 to £10. Mr Johnson felt ‘obliged’ to reply with some ‘choice words of his own’, his friends claim. The video shows him telling the cabbie again: ‘Why don’t you f*** off and die – and not in that order.’ At this point, their paths diverged, the cabbie driving on, muttering loudly out of his window: ‘Yeah, b******s ... hope you die,’ and Mr Johnson – a half-smile on his face – turning right towards his house. The altercation happened at 12.20am on Friday, June 5. Last night a source close to the mayor said: ‘I believe this particular cabbie is a serial heckler. He offered Boris a few choice words. Boris felt obliged to offer him a few in return. And off they went.’ Read more: http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-3128665/F-die-not-order-Boris-told-irate-cabbie-late-night-street-row-taxi-app-Uber-cycled-home-dinner.html#ixzz3dMlWzaZ0 Follow us: @MailOnline on Twitter | DailyMail on Facebook

Royal Bank of Scotland (RBS) has been fined £390m ($610m) by UK and US regulators for its part in the Libor rate-fixing scandal. The UK's Financial Services Authority issued a fine of £87.5m, while about £300m will be paid to US regulators and the US Department of Justice. The head of RBS's investment banking arm since 2008, John Hourican, is also expected to step down, although there is no suggestion he was involved in the scandal. Business Secretary Vince Cable said the government had made it clear to RBS that the fines should be paid from staff bonuses, saying that neither taxpayers nor bank customers should bear the cost. Andre Iguodala 25 Points Cleveland Cavaliers : LeBron James 32 Pts, 18 Reb, 9 Ast, 2 Stl. For the first time in 40 years, the Golden State Warriors are NBA champions. Behind 25 points apiece from Stephen Curry and Andre Iguodala, the Warriors topped the Cleveland Cavaliers, 105-97, at Quicken Loans Arena on Tuesday night to win the 2015 NBA Finals, 4-2. Iguodala was named Finals MVP for his masterful performance on both ends of the floor. LeBron James had 32 points, 18 rebounds and nine assists in a losing effort. However, he shot just 13-of-33 from the floor. Draymond Green posted a triple-double with 16 points, 11 boards and 10 dimes. The Warriors were in control for most of this game. After falling behind 7-2 early, Golden State closed out the first quarter on a 26-8 run to take a 28-15 advantage. The Cavaliers would proceed to battle back in the second quarter, outscoring the Warriors 28-17 to trim the deficit to two, 45-43, heading into halftime. Cleveland would then score the first four points of the third period to take a 47-45 lead. That would mark the last time the Cavs would be in front. The Warriors stormed back, building a 15-point lead. They were dropping three-pointers, playing lockdown defense and forcing turnovers. The Cavaliers made a run early in the fourth quarter, cutting the lead to seven. However, Golden State quickly answered, and the lead ballooned to 15 once again. A late flurry from J.R. Smith helped Cleveland slice the deficit to four with under 30 seconds to play, but it was too late. The Warriors shot 44 percent from the floor and buried 13 three-pointers. By contrast, the Cavaliers shot just 39 percent and went 6-of-26 from deep. Cleveland made nine more free throws than Golden State, but it also committed 19 turnovers to the Warriors' nine. The Cavs also outrebounded the Dubs 56-39, but it meant little in the end.

http://democracynow.org - Four years after U.S. forces assassinated Osama bin Laden, Pulitzer Prize-winning investigative reporter Seymour Hersh has published an explosive piece claiming much of what the Obama administration said about the attack was wrong. Hersh claims at the time of the U.S. raid, bin Laden had been held as a prisoner by Pakistani intelligence since 2006. Top Pakistani military leaders knew about the operation and provided key assistance. Contrary to U.S. claims that it located bin Laden by tracking his courier, a former Pakistani intelligence officer identified bin Laden’s whereabouts in return for the bulk of a $25 million U.S. bounty. Questions are also raised about whether bin Laden was actually buried at sea, as the U.S. claimed. Hersh says instead the Navy SEALs threw parts of bin Laden’s body into the Hindu Kush mountains from their helicopter. The White House claims the piece is "riddled with inaccuracies." Hersh joins us to lay out his findings and respond to criticism from government officials and media colleagues. When a black-cab driver offered Boris Johnson the benefit of his worldly wisdom the other night – as they are inclined to do – he got a robust answer back.

The London Mayor and Tory MP told the cabbie to ‘f*** off and die’.

In case he had been misunderstood, the mayor reiterated his position on the matter, saying: ‘Why don’t you f*** off and die – and not in that order.’

It was just after midnight and Mr Johnson was cycling home along St John’s Street in Islington, North London, after attending a dinner, when the cabbie saw him driving the same way and decided to heckle him.

The driver was apparently irate over the mayor’s perceived lack of support for black-cab drivers in their battle with controversial minicab booking firm Uber.

He seized the opportunity to give Mr Johnson his opinion by leaning out of his cab window and gesticulating vigorously with his hand, while simultaneously shouting: ‘You’re one of them, mate.’

A video filmed by a passerby reveals the foul-mouthed response from Mr Johnson, who is tipped as a future leader of the Conservative Party.

Wearing a yellow cycling helmet with his trademark blonde mop poking out the sides, Mr Johnson swore at the startled taxi driver.

The cabbie, continuing his vulgar hand gesture, repeats: ‘That’s what you are: one of them.’
HOW DOES THE UBER APP WORK?

The video shows him telling the cabbie again: ‘Why don’t you f*** off and die – and not in that order.’

At this point, their paths diverged, the cabbie driving on, muttering loudly out of his window: ‘Yeah, b******s ... hope you die,’ and Mr Johnson – a half-smile on his face – turning right towards his house. The altercation happened at 12.20am on Friday, June 5.

Last night a source close to the mayor said: ‘I believe this particular cabbie is a serial heckler. He offered Boris a few choice words. Boris felt obliged to offer him a few in return. And off they went.’

Royal Bank of Scotland (RBS) has been fined £390m ($610m) by UK and US regulators for its part in the Libor rate-fixing scandal.

The UK\'s Financial Services Authority issued a fine of £87.5m, while about £300m will be paid to US regulators and the US Department of Justice.

The head of RBS\'s investment banking arm since 2008, John Hourican, is also expected to step down, although there is no suggestion he was involved in the scandal.

Business Secretary Vince Cable said the government had made it clear to RBS that the fines should be paid from staff bonuses, saying that neither taxpayers nor bank customers should bear the cost.

Hugh Pym reports.

The Philae comet lander has woken up after 7 months. In November it was taken to the 67P comet by the Rosetta spacecraft ... and then lost contact with Earth. The spacecraft that took the lander there travelled for 10 years through the stars to reach the celestial body 500 million miles away. The landing was the first controlled landing on a comet ever. It\'s hoped the mission will provide understanding of how the Earth was formed, and the origins of life. RT is joined by Matt Taylor, a project scientist from the Rosetta Mission.

Cleveland Cavaliers vs Golden State Warriors (97 - 105) - 2015 NBA Finals GAME 6
Warriors win NBA title, down LeBron, Cavs 105-97 in Game 6
Top Performance :
Golden State Warriors : Stephen Curry 25 Pts, 6 Reb, 8 Ast, 3 Stl. Andre Iguodala 25 Points
Cleveland Cavaliers : LeBron James 32 Pts, 18 Reb, 9 Ast, 2 Stl.

Cleveland made nine more free throws than Golden State, but it also committed 19 turnovers to the Warriors\' nine.

The White House claims the piece is \
