Le gouvernment israélien interdit au moins 55 articles dans la Bande de Gaza , selon le Gisha Legal Center for Freedom of Movement, un organisme israélien qui cherche à protéger la liberté de mouvement des Palestiniens et Palestiniennes et qui promeut les droits garantis par le droit international. En plus du ciment, fer, plâtre, et goudron, indispensables à la reconstruction de centaines de bâtiments endommagés ou détruits dans la bande de Gaza, cette liste comprend des articles tels que les noix de muscade, le chocolat, les cannes à pêche, les jouets, et les journaux.

The Israeli government prohibits at least 55 items from being brought into the Gaza Strip, according to the Gisha Legal Center for Freedom of Movement, an Israeli organisation which seeks to protect the freedom of movement of Palestinians and promotes rights guaranteed by international law. In addition to cement, iron, plaster, and tar, essential for the reconstruction of hundreds of damaged and destroyed buildings in Gaza, this list includes items such as nutmeg, chocolate, fishing rods, toys, and newspapers.
