StopBadware is a nonprofit anti-malware organization that makes the Web safer through the prevention, mitigation, and remediation of badware websites. It began as a project of the Berkman Center for Internet & Society at Harvard University before spinning off as a standalone nonprofit organization in 2010. As of September 2015, the organization has been refashioned as a program housed within the Security Economics Lab at the University of Tulsa

StopBadware’s executive director, Dr. Tyler Moore, is available for interviews or to provide background for stories about badware trends, user education, and related topics. For press inquiries, please contact us at press@stopbadware.org
