StopBadware periodically publishes documents, comments, and guidelines based on our own research or collaborative research with other stakeholders in the security ecosystem. Our current publications fall into four main categories:

Badware guidelines specify behaviors and practices that can help classify applications and/or websites as “badware.” 

Best practices set industry standards and expectations for reporting and responding to badware. 

Public comments provide insight about security-related issues, in response to government requests for input. 

White papers & reports explore the badware website problem in depth and analyze the response from industry, government, site owners, and other stakeholders.
