Vom Hauptbahnhof an liefen circa 170 Teilnehmer*innen durch Chemnitz, um sich am Ende der Route vor dem Chemnitzer Frauen*-Knast zu sammeln, wo neben lautstarken Solidaritätsbekundungen auch viele tolle Redebeiträge zu hören waren. Darunter verlesene Briefe anderer Inhaftierter, die ebenfalls in der Gefangengewerkschaft aktiv sind, Beiträge feministischer Gruppen und Einzelpersonen. Auch dieser Beitrag wurde vor Ort vorgetragen. Er ist von uns als FAU Sektion Chemnitz, die zusammen mit vielen anderen Ortgruppen und Syndikaten an diesem Tag vertreten war. Denn: Unverträgliche Gewerkschaften sollten zusammenhalten, genau so wie wir auch die sozialen Kämpfe auf dem Weg in die befreite Gesellschaft nur gemeinsam gewinnen können. This Saturday December 3, the protests marched on the Presidential Blue House. The three opposition parties introduced a bill last week to impeach the President, supported by a majority of the parliament (171 of 300 members), for abuse of power in an influence-peddling scandal. But the vote needs a 2/3 majority and requires a rump of Park's Saenuri party to break and support the opposition to pass the bill. These are the largest demonstrations in South Korea since the pro-democracy movement of the 1980s. But the street protests are also against the neoliberal reforms Park has pursued and the attacks on the KCTU (Korean Confederation of Trade Unions), and an emphatic statement that all politics is not forming in a populist hard right. El presente comunicado se escribe con la intención de hacer pública la posición que como Grupo Libertario Vía Libre, organización específica anarquista de la ciudad de Bogotá, Colombia, tenemos frente a un caso de violencia de género ocurrido entre militantes de nuestra organización. Pensamos que nuestra tarea, como anarquistas y feministas, es realizar ejercicios profundos de autocrítica y crítica que tengan como objetivo consolidar una posición de rechazo a las acciones y actitudes patriarcales, machistas y violentas tanto en el ámbito de lo público como en el ámbito de lo privado.
On 11 February 2016, I issued an initial personal statement on the Michael Schmidt affair.[1] I completely rejected the irredeemable racist and right-wing statements attributed to Schmidt, which were mainly posted under false names online. They represent positions I have consistently opposed, for decades, to the best of my abilities. I noted problems with his explanation, centred on the claim that his posts and false personas were solely means for infiltrating the radical right for undercover research. I raised serious ethical problems with his actions, including his admitted role in repeatedly frustrating earlier investigations into his actions by myself and others. I also laid out my emotional turmoil over the affair, the gulf between the Schmidt I knew and trusted, a man active in left and black working class circles, and another Schmidt, increasingly exposed. Στα αποσπάσματα αυτά από το βιβλίο της Ida Mett “Οι Ρώσοι Χωρικοί στην Επανάσταση”, η συγγραφέας παρέχει κάποια ιστορικά στοιχεία σε ό,τι αφορά τη ρωσική αγροτιά, κατά την παραμονή και την αρχή της Ρωσικής Επανάστασης του 1917. Υπήρξε μια έκρηξη του αγροτικού συνεταιριστικού κινήματος καθώς μεγάλο μέρος των Ρώσων αγροτών εγκατέλειψε τον στρατό, γυρίζοντας την πλάτη στον πόλεμο της Ρωσίας κατά της Γερμανίας και επέστρεψε στο σπίτι του. Το πολιτικό κόμμα που απολάμβανε τη μεγαλύτερη υποστήριξη εκ μέρους των αγροτών και χωρικών ήταν το Σοσιαλιστικό Επαναστατικό Κόμμα (SRS - ή αριστεροί εσέροι), αλλά ήταν διαιρεμένο σε δεξιές και αριστερές φράξιες και σύντομα άφησε την επαναστατική πρωτοβουλία να περάσει στα χέρια των μπολσεβίκων, οι οποίοι από το 1921 άρχισαν να καταστέλλουν αποτελεσματικά όλες τις άλλες επαναστατικές ομάδες, συμπεριλαμβανομένων και των αναρχικών.
Nonviolence can be used in many circumstances as an effective tactic, but it is irrelevant, irresponsible, and utterly ridiculous to even consider it as a strategy. So yes, nonviolence should be utilized as a tactic where pertinent, and in turn pacifism, as an ideology and a strategy, must be purged from our movement.
Cuando hablamos del sistema de pensiones en Chile nos imaginamos que debería responder a los principios que hacen funcionar la seguridad social, abarcando con ello la universalidad, la solidaridad, la eficiencia y la integralidad. Pero sabemos que el sistema no se ajusta actualmente ni a parámetros internacionales ni a las necesidades de las personas, y como rasgo estructural, es sumamente discriminatorio con las mujeres.
Una práctica política ética que respete las diferencias políticas y procure siempre por el fortalecimiento de la clase trabajadora es lo que diferencia una propuesta liberadora de un proceso autoritario; una meta democrática de un método impositivo. Prácticas informales de articulación y grupos mal estructurados también perjudican el camino hacia el poder popular, porque pueden reproducir por otras vías el vanguardismo, creando “liderazgos ocultos” y desestimulando espacio de construcción colectiva. more >>
