He's been the subject of many an internet meme since entering the White House, but now Donald Trump has been immortalised in an even more unusual way. 

Ukranian artist Pavlo Bondar, 24, has delicately arranged sprigs of dill create a likeness of the American president complete with his signature bouffant locks.

The artist specialises in making highly realistic portraits of famous figures out of different kinds of food, and the ingredient he choses to work with in each picture has a special significance.

He chose to use the strong-tasting herb for Trump because he has always been 'a rich person.'

'As we know [Trump] started his career when he was already a rich person,' he explained. 'Money played an essential role in his life. 

'As for me money plays an important role but not the leading role. 

'The dill and basically any kind of greenery is associated with money in my understanding.'

The inventive artist has also made portraits of new mum and music legend Beyoncé (top left) out of chocolate

The inventive artist has also made portraits of expectant mum and music legend Beyoncé out of chocolate, while the painter Vincent van Gogh was constructed out of tiny flakes of bread mixed with tea.

Bondar is careful to document his works on camera so they are not lost once the food spoils.
