The messaging interface is amazing
Just today they updated the format in the messaging section where when you type a message it is just like IMessage on iPhone which I find real cool and I love it. Makes it easier for me to reply and type a message. Selecting stickers got way easier and it got easier to send a payment or location or voice message. I love it! Thank you
Four stars
I give it a 4 star review. I've had this app for a while and have seen many updates. I'm still hoping to have some form of chat heads in a future update. When there is one of those, I'll give it a five star. Other than that, app works well, doesn't take up too much battery to run it. And there have been no real issues. Message notifications are always on time and I never miss a message as of yet.
Frequently Freezes
A couple of updates back this app starting freezing or locking up on iPhone7. And because it's Facebook they don't seem to ever reply to any customer service inquiries about issues with any of their apps, including this one. For me this is a larger issue because I've been delayed in responding to customers because of it being locked up. Re-downloading, cache clearing and restarting never resolve this issue. It's a shame that yet another large company seems too big to actually help their users.
