Continued use of GPS running in the background can dramatically decrease battery life. Facebook doesn't run GPS in the background unless you give us permission by turning on optional features that require this.

Bugs with this version
When you select the like button it will not illuminate thumbs up or display your reaction unless you open the total collective of people that have also reacted to the post. The menu bar at the bottom is kind of cool but it would be nice to have the option to customize it, I don't know how often others feel the need to visit the Facebook marketplace, but I personally never do. A neat, but rather cumbersome, project would be a penalty box of sorts where you can isolate your newsfeed from all political content for x amount of time based on your selection of keywords or categories to avoid having to unfollow a mass of pages.
Rearranging photos and shared post notifications are annoying
You used to be able to rearrange the order of your pics prior to posting. Now if you want to change the order that they will post in, you have to either start all over. Please make it where you can just rearrange the order by clicking and holding. It's just way easier. Also, I hate that if you are tagged in a post and then someone shares that post, you are re-tagged all over again and receive notifications for each time the post is shared. The first tag should be enough.
Had to delete
I had to delete this app. I can't handle Facebook anymore. Too many ignorant people have been given the chance to spout their ignorance and shove it down my throat. Facebook has given people and their opinions a false sense of importance and relevance, and I just can't handle it anymore. I deleted the app months ago, amidst all of the election crap, and had to redownload it just to view a video a friend sent me through messenger (I kept just messenger) and was instantly disappointed when I opened the app before getting the video to open. I hate Facebook. Deleted!
