Two Asian tourists have been forced to surrender their passports after an all-in brawl (right) at a McDonald's during which an innocent woman was struck directly in the face. Pawan Threstha (left), 19, and Norbu Sherpa, 20, were both charged with assault for their alleged roles in the horrific fight at the fast food store on George Street, central Sydney, on Saturday morning.

Israel's prime minister Benjamin Netanyahu says the Palestinian attacker who mowed down and killed four Israeli soldiers and wounded 15 in Jerusalem was an ISIS terrorist. Speaking at the scene of the attack, Mr Netanyahu said the attacker has been identified and 'according to all the signs he was a supporter of the Islamic State.' He says there "definitely could be a connection" between Sunday's attack, which killed four Israeli soldiers, and recent attacks in France and Germany. The Israeli soldiers were on a sightseeing tour of Jerusalem when they were mowed down and the shocking moment was caught on camera. The killer, who is from the east of the city, swerved to drive over the young soldiers, before reversing to make sure they were dead, trapping ten people under the truck. The surviving soldiers riddled the cab, firing at least 18 rounds at the terrorist, who was killed.

An $800,000 yacht up for auction with a $1 reserve has attracted its female seller in New Zealand a marriage proposal, swaps for land a top bid of more than half a million with a week to go on the sale. Fiona Campbell (inset) is selling the Ruah (pictured), a former Australian Navy boat with a luxurious refit. She bought the 1944 vessel for her ex-husband but she's aiming for a fresh start in 2017 and wants the 20-metre boat gone. Currently berthed in Wellington, the Ruah has six cabins, beds for 14 people, two showers and all the creature comforts of a house - as well as the seaworthiness to cross the Tasman in heavy seas.

Staffordshire terrier cross Kuta, circled in red, loves the ocean. She feels at home paddling with the dolphins at Esperance, off the West Australian coast. The two-year-old rescue dog also befriended a seal. Her owner Erin Cummings, pictured inset with Kuta, takes her paddleboarding every morning and occasionally has to call her to come back in.

Lylah Fairless, four, of Missouri, the US, was born with a huge mole on the back of her head (left) that doctors feared could become a melanoma and develop fatal cancerous tumours. The only treatment doctors recommended was to have skin expanders placed under her hairline to be filled with fluid - similar to the surgery for breast implants. Surgeons have now been able to remove 90 per cent of the mole and replaced it with the excess skin created by the implants. Lylah (right with mother Ashley) is about to begin the final round of surgeries this year and her family are raising funds to afford them, after previously selling their house to cover her medical costs.

American John Georgelas (right), a white Muslim convert and ISIS recruiter, married Joya Choudhury (pictured left and inset with her children) in a town hall in Rochdale, Lancashire, before taking their three children into the Syrian warzone. Born at a private clinic on December 30, the Honourable Henry Thynn - a second grandson for the 7th Marquess of Bath - will soon be tucked up safely in his ancestral home, the magnificent Longleat House, Wiltshire. The miracle that is modern medicine means Henry is almost certainly the first member of the British aristocracy to have been born by surrogacy, in this case using one of his mother's eggs and his father's sperm, a process overseen more than 5,000 miles away from rural Wiltshire in the pristine surroundings of a Californian medical facility.

A man who was born female has become the first in Britain to get pregnant. Former Asda worker Hayden Cross, 20, decided to pause his gender reassignment process so he could give birth. Hayden (pictured as a man two years ago) found a sperm donor on Facebook and become pregnant four months ago. He will complete his transition, which will remove his breasts and ovaries, after his child is born.

A woman has miraculously survived being sandwiched between two cars after a speeding joyrider, who tried to flee the scene immediately, smashed into her by a busy road. Kanta Anand, 40, was walking out of her home in Delhi, India, when the 17-year-old driver ploughed into her. She is then dragged more than 50 yards by the white MUV car before horror footage shows it ramming into a black vehicle pulling out of a junction.Incredibly she only suffered a fractured hip and following surgery is now stable in hospital.

Not even sharks are safe from shark attacks.  Footage posted by a sport fishing company in Exmouth, WA shows a large hammerhead shark chomping on a whaler shark.  The hammerhead is seen repeatedly striking the whaler, which has swallowed the fisherman's bait, and the bigger fish eventually eats half of the smaller one. 'Mother nature takes no prisoners,' said Wes Jones of Peak Sportfishing. 'It was in Exmouth, in the gulf, and we were shark fishing when the hammerhead just came up,' Mr Jones told Daily Mail Australia

Thousands of singing and dancing devils took taken over a mountain town in Ecuador for six days of revelry in the streets. The procession of dancers in elaborate devil masks is the centerpiece of an annual festival in the town of Pillaro in the Ecuadorean Andes. This year, about 3,000 devils took over the center of the town for the first week of January dancing without pause for at least five hours a day.

Hilarious footage of a donkey using his mouth to open a gate-as oppose to jumping over it-has taken the internet by storm.Unlike his athletic companions in the Paradise sanctuary in Ronco Scrivia, northern Italy this free thinker was not prepared to jump. Instead, Oreste paused to think about how to solve the problem he faced. He pushed his nose against the fence as if to inspect it before taking a step back and lifting the wooden pole up from its lock with his mouth.

This is the incredible moment a good Samaritan freed a bird with his breath after it became stuck on a frozen metal gate. Nelson Miller of Caldwell, Idaho, found the distressed sparrow unable to fly off as he fed his horses on New Year's Day. The bird had gotten its feet wet after it went for a drink in the horses' tub but as it tried to make an exit, it found itself frozen to the fence in sub-zero temperatures. Nelson gently grabbed hold of the flapping bird as it started to fall backwards and then worked his magic.
