• Discusses how fascism arose from the specific conditions of a social system in crisis.
• At a time when the far right is making gains in popularity and electoral strength, Guerin’s writings provide an important tool in understanding how to build an international antifascist movement.

Discussion Circle – Democracy and Revolution by George Novack
Where did democracy come from, and where is it going? Is today’s U.S. electoral system the best we can expect? This insightful book traces democracy’s development through 2,500 years of class struggle in which democracy ”was everywhere the offspring of revolution.” It concludes with a vision of the vastly broader democracy that will be one of the most profound benefits of the achievement of socialism.
This discussion group will be held at FSP National Office, address and travel information are above.

We’re demanding that tech companies pick a side and reject Trump’s Muslim registry. It is the duty of these firms to refuse to target users on the basis of race, religion, or nationality. If they don’t, they are rejecting inclusion and choosing fear.
