Police plea for public help to find missing Frankston man Neville Tanner

POLICE are appealing for public help to find 28-year-old Neville Tanner.

Frankston Police, along with Mr Tanner’s family and friends, are concerned for his welfare after the Frankston man received some sad news before he went missing on November 2.

Police believe he left Frankston Hospital before he disappeared.

Frankston Senior-Sargeant Phil Hulley said police hoped releasing a picture of him would help locate him.

“We just want to help his family find him so that they can look after him and make sure he is safe and Ok,” Sgt Hulley said.

“His family are very concerned for his welfare as they have not seen him since the end of October.

“There has not been any activity on his Facebook page.

“If you see him please phone police.”

It is believed Mr Tanner was last spotted near Kananook Creek around November 2.

Upon receiving news he may still be in the area, a person known to Mr Tanner posted on Facebook on November 4.

“It is a bit of a relief to know he is still in the area and I believe that he will stay around the Frankston, Seaford and Pines areas,” the post read.

“This is where he grew up and will feel safe in these areas. We are still all very worried.”

Anyone with information on the whereabouts of Mr Tanner phone Frankston Police on 9784 5555.
