Time Warner Center is a twin-tower building developed by AREA Property Partners (formerly known as Apollo Real Estate Advisors) and The Related Companies in New York City. Its design, by David Childs and Mustafa Kemal Abadan of Skidmore, Owings & Merrill, consists of two 750 ft (229 m) twin towers bridged by a multi-story atrium containing upscale retail shops. Construction began in November 2000, following the demolition of the New York Coliseum, and a topping-out ceremony was held on February 27, 2003. The property had the highest-listed market value in New York City, $1.1 billion, in 2006. Originally constructed as the AOL Time Warner Center, the building encircles the western side of Columbus Circle and straddles the border between Midtown and the Upper West Side. The total floor area of 2.8 million square feet (260,000 m2) is divided between offices (notably the offices of Time Warner Inc. and an R&D Center for VMware), residential condominiums, and the Mandarin Oriental, New York hotel. The Shops at Columbus Circle is an upscale shopping mall located in a curving arcade at the base of the building, with a large Whole Foods Market grocery store in the basement.
Time Warner Inc. (TWI, at one former interval named AOL Time Warner, stylized as TimeWarner since 2003) is an American Multinational media and entertainment conglomerate headquartered in the Time Warner Center in New York City. It is currently the world's third largest television networks and filmed TV & entertainment company in terms of revenue (after Comcast and The Walt Disney Company), and at one time was the world's largest media conglomerate.
Time Warner was formed in 1990 through the merger of Time Inc. and Warner Communications. The current company consists largely of the assets of the former Warner Communications, as well as HBO (a Time Inc. subsidiary prior to the Warner merger) and the assets of Turner Broadcasting (acquired in 1996). Time Warner currently has major operations in film and television, with a limited amount of publishing operations. Among its assets are New Line Cinema, HBO, Turner Broadcasting System, The CW Television Network, Warner Bros., Cartoon Network, Boomerang, Adult Swim, CNN, DC Comics, Warner Bros. Animation, Cartoon Network Studios, Hanna-Barbera, Esporte Interativo, Castle Rock Entertainment and NetherRealm Studios.
Warner Center is a business development in the Woodland Hills neighborhood of the San Fernando Valley in Los Angeles, California.
Warner Center, which began as a master-planned area, is designated as a Regional Center within the City’s Canoga Park-West Hills-Winnetka-Woodland Hills Community Plan. Historically, Warner Center is generally bounded by Vanowen Street to the north, the Ventura Freeway to the south, De Soto Avenue to the east, and Topanga Canyon Boulevard on the west. The Warner Center 2035 Plan (adopted in December 2013) added the area between Vanowen and the LA River to the plan area, which comprises approximately 1,100 acres or 1.7 square miles.
The area was originally planned to relieve traffic to and from downtown Los Angeles, as well as generate jobs in the San Fernando Valley. It was first envisioned in the late 1960s.
Warner Center is named for Harry Warner, the eldest of the Warner Brothers, owned the land since the 1940s, which he used as a horse ranch. His family donated 20 acres of land in 1967 that became the Warner Center Park (also known as the Warner Ranch Park), situated east of Topanga Canyon Boulevard between Califa Street and Marylee Street.

Columbus Circle, named for Christopher Columbus, is a traffic circle and heavily trafficked intersection in the New York City borough of Manhattan, located at the intersection of Eighth Avenue, Broadway, Central Park South (West 59th Street), and Central Park West, at the southwest corner of Central Park. It is the point from which all official distances from New York City are measured. The name is also used for the neighborhood a few blocks around the circle in each direction. To the south of the circle lies Hell's Kitchen, also known as "Clinton", and the Theater District, and to the north is the Upper West Side.
Completed in 1905 and renovated a century later, the circle was designed by William P. Eno – a businessman who pioneered many early innovations in road safety and traffic control – as part of Frederick Law Olmsted's vision for Central Park, which included a "Grand Circle" at the Merchants' Gate, its most important Eighth Avenue entrance.

Stepping into the Time Warner Center in New York City is reminiscent of a trip to the suburbs. After all, there just aren't many indoor shopping centers in Manhattan. The building, located at 10 Columbus Circle, was completed in February of 2003 and was originally named the AOL Time Warner Center. The Time Warner Center skyscrapers are truly mixed use, housing apartments, The Mandarin Oriental Hotel, Time Warner Inc. offices, CNN studios, and a theater for Jazz at Lincoln Center. Boasting a unique design and lots of space open to the public, the Time Warner Center has become a popular destination among Manhattanites. Besides luxury shopping, the Whole Foods market has become a neighborhood staple. Time Warner Center's restaurants are convenient for workers in the building, but attr...

In May 24, 2011 Time Warner Cable made the (bad) decision to move several channels from their analog lineup over to their digital lineup requiring customers who desire to watch those channels to rent a (expensive) digital cable box. The channels that were moved to digital included: Travel Channel TV Guide (A really bad move considering the channel was generally used by basic cable customers as a TV guide to see what was on. Digital cable customers already have a guide and therefore don't watch this channel anyways.) Milwaukee: TruTV (Court TV) CSPAN2 Kenosha/Plymouth: Hallmark Kenosha: MPTV 36 (PBS Ch 16/36 OTA)
Thanks to Time Warner Cable's philanthropic initiative, Connect A Million Minds, TWC's partnership with the museum now allows visitors to expand their knowledge with free WiFi provided by TWC. Establishing WiFi hotspots throughout the massive historical building required a delicate balance between installing the wireless system and preserving the museum's valuable contents.

Columbus Circle is one of the fun, free places to go in New York City in the spring and summer. It's like a mini-version of Times Square - only much less crowded and without all the neon. Columbus Circle is the center of a lot of activity during pleasant weather because it's the hub for some of New York City's most famous streets and thoroughfares, including Broadway. It's located at the southwestern tip of Central Park, so it draws traffic from Central Park tourists and visitors. It's also just a few blocks from the theater district of Manhattan that most people simply call "Broadway." It's also just a few feet away from the area on Central Park South where the popular horse drawn carriages wait to be hired for leisurely rides through the Park. Dozens of restaurants and shops surrou...
