The United States is the 3rd largest country in the world, only behind its neighbor Canada & of course Russia.
Made up of 50 states all with their own jurisdictions, crime rates can fluctuate depending on which state you're in.
In this list we'll be showing you the 5 most dangerous states to live in.

5) Louisiana
Louisiana is the 25th most populous American State and has one of the highest crime rates.
Violent crimes such as burglary, theft, murder, rape and assaults are the most frequent crimes in the state.
However in last year there has been a slight decrease in crimes but not enough to take it off this list.
With 4.6 million inhabitants & 19.1% living below the poverty line, its very clear that the high rate of crime is associated to a large number of the population living in poverty.
Out of every 100,000 people there are 510 violent crimes, this figure can & will drop if more is done to create better opportunities for the people.
4) Tennessee
Just like Louisiana, Tennessee also has a large number of their population living in poverty.
Out of the 6.5 million inhabitants, 17.6% are living in poverty.
Once again its no surprise that the crime rate is so high, with some of common crimes being robbery, rape, aggravated assaults, homicide and gun violence.
For every 100,000 people, there are 580 violent crimes, much higher than the countries average of 368.
All this crime is again closely linked to its high numbers of poverty.
Until something is done to help the people, high crime will always be a issue.
3) Nevada
Recognized as one of the most dangerous states to live in with a scary 600 violent crimes per 100,000 people, Nevada is a state with a serious crime problem.
With only 2.9 million inhabitants its not a very densely populated state however it is home to sin city Las Vegas.
Crimes like rape, robbery & assault are to be expected but it takes the lead over other states for its murder rate.
Although not officially stated to protect its tourism, its high level of murders are most likely linked to its high levels of organised crime.
Nevada has always had problems with crime, with its reputation for its libertarian laws such as legal gambling & prostitution, it attracts a lot crime syndicates eager to cash in.
2) New Mexico
New Mexico suffers from a lot of Political Instability.
With over 10% of its population being Native Americans there's obviously a lot of tension.
However aside from that 20.4% of its 2.1 million inhabitants are living in poverty, so naturally its crime rate will increase.
Out of every 100,000 people, there are 600 violent crimes, now instead of helping the poor by building better infrastructures so they can help themselves, instead the government is increasing its security forces.
This may reduce the crime slightly but its not tackling the core issues, it will just create more tension and dislike for the government.
When people have nothing, and nothing to hope for, crime will always exist, if you give the people hope & opportunity will reduce crime much more effectively than using force.
1) Alaska
A surprising number 1, Alaska is quite unique.
It's poverty rate is much lower at only 11.7% however its crime rate is at 602 violent crimes per 100,000 people.
The issue Alaska has, is its just so large, in fact its the largest state, but is the least densely populated region with only 736,000 inhabitants.
Essentially Alaska is very hard to police, if a murder is committed, its much easier to cover up than in a busy city.
Witnesses would be rare, and with such a vast landscape, finding a body would be like finding a needle in a hay stack.
This is why Alaska has the 3rd highest murder rate, despite its small population.
Alaska will always remain a easy place to commit a crime unless its population density increases massively making it much harder for a criminal to commit a crime.
However due to its harsh climate and general lack of opportunity, its population will probably never increase.

What if you had to grow some of your own food to feed your family? What if utilities failed provide water, natural gas or electricity? How would you heat your home or cook your meals? What if riots and crime plagued large cities? What would happen if the government stopped handing out Foodstamps and Welfare? This is one analysis of where may be the best place to be in the United States?
This is only one point of view and I am from the Deep South, but most people will not be prepared and have no experience at raising crops. In an area with long winters with low food stocks, you could starve.

Average winter and summer high temperatures across Canada vary according to the location. Canada has a total population of 34,682,937, an increase of 5.9 percent since 2001. Population in Canada increased from 1990 to 2008 with 5.8 million and 20.9% growth in population compared to 21.7% growth in the USA and 31.2% growth in Mexico. Population growth is from immigration and, to a lesser extent, natural growth. About four-fifths of Canada's population lives within 150 kilometres (93 mi) of the United States border.
Canada has one of the highest per-capita immigration rates in the world, driven by economic policy and family reunification, and is aiming for between 240,000 and 265,000 new permanent residents in 2011, the same number of immigrants as in recent years. New immigrants settle mostly in major urban areas like Toronto and Vancouver. Canada also accepts large numbers of refugees. The country resettles over one in 10 of the world's refugees.
Canadian provinces and territories are responsible for education. Each system is similar, while reflecting regional history, culture and geography. The mandatory school age ranges between 5--7 to 16--18 years, contributing to an adult literacy rate of 99 percent. In 2002, 43 percent of Canadians aged 25 to 64 possessed a post-secondary education; for those aged 25 to 34, the rate of post-secondary education reached 51 percent.
Canada's two official languages are English and French. Official bilingualism is defined in the Canadian Charter of Rights and Freedoms, the Official Languages Act, and Official Language Regulations; it is applied by the Commissioner of Official Languages. English and French have equal status in federal courts, Parliament, and in all federal institutions. Citizens have the right, where there is sufficient demand, to receive federal government services in either English or French, and official-language minorities are guaranteed their own schools in all provinces and territories.

Hialeah Gardens is a city in Miami-Dade County, Florida, United States. The population was 19,297 at the 2000 census. As of 2005, the population recorded by the U.S. Census Bureau is 19,930,[3] with a population density of 7987.6 per mi2, made up of mostly single story development.
Hialeah Gardens is located at 25°52′42″N 80°20′53″W (25.878342, -80.348072).
According to the United States Census Bureau, the city has a total area of 2.5 square miles (6.5 km2). 2.5 square miles (6.5 km2) of it is land and 0.1 square miles (0.26 km2) of it (2.78%) is water.
Demographics
As of the census[1] of 2000, there were 19,297 people, 5,636 households, and 4,903 families residing in the city. The population density was 7,845.8 inhabitants per square mile (3,028.7/km²). There were 5,848 housing units at an average density of 2,377.7 per square mile (917.9/km²). The racial makeup of the city was 88.41% White (8.7% Non-Hispanic White,)[5] 1.80% African American, 0.08% Native American, 0.80% Asian, 5.32% from other races, and 3.59% from two or more races. Hispanic or Latino of any race were 89.78% of the population.
There were 5,636 households out of which 47.5% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 64.7% were married couples living together, 15.7% had a female householder with no husband present, and 13.0% were non-families. 9.7% of all households were made up of individuals and 4.7% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older. The average household size was 3.38 and the average family size was 3.56.
In the city the population was spread out with 27.7% under the age of 18, 8.1% from 18 to 24, 32.9% from 25 to 44, 20.9% from 45 to 64, and 10.5% who were 65 years of age or older. The median age was 34 years. For every 100 females there were 92.9 males. For every 100 females age 18 and over, there were 88.1 males.
The median income for a household in the city was $38,858, and the median income for a family was $39,804. Males had a median income of $25,540 versus $20,862 for females. The per capita income for the city was $14,043. About 10.9% of families and 13.3% of the population were below the poverty line, including 16.4% of those under age 18 and 21.0% of those age 65 or over.
Hialeah Gardens ranks #1 (Hialeah ranks #2) in the list of cities in the United States where Spanish is most spoken. As of 2000, speakers of Spanish as a first language accounted for 95.68% of the population, while English as a mother tongue made up 4.31% of the population.
As of 2000, Hialeah Gardens had the eighth highest percentage of Cuban residents in the US, with 54.31% of the population. It had the fourth highest percentage of Nicaraguan residents in the US, at 4.87% of the city's population,[8] and the twenty-fourth highest percentage of Colombian residents in the US, at 4.62% of the its population. It also had the forty-third most Dominicans in the US, at 2.86%,[10] while it had the thirty-seventh highest percentage of Hondurans, at 1.16% of all residents (tied with North Atlanta, Georgia and Conroe, Texas.)

From 2007-2009 construction began on 3 new schools in the Area along Hialeah Gardens Blvd and Okeechobee. West Hialeah Gardens Elementary School opened in the 2007-2008 school year and was used to Alleviate nearby Hialeah Gardens Elementary School and Ernest R Graham Elementary School. Hialeah Gardens Middle opened in 2008-2009 school year to alleviate Jose Marti Middle School in neighboring West Hialeah as well as Mater Academy Middle School and Youth Co-Op Charter School. Hialeah Gardens High will be opened in the Fall of 2009 to alleviate Barbara Goleman Senior High in Miami Lakes

Population density (in agriculture: standing stock and standing crop) is a measurement of population per unit area or unit volume; it is a quantity of type number density. It is frequently applied to living organisms, and most of the time to humans. It's a key geographical term.

Low densities may cause an extinction vortex and lead to further reduced fertility. This is called the Allee effect after the scientist who identified it. Examples of the causes in low population densities include:

Hialeah Gardens, Florida
Hialeah Gardens is a city in Miami-Dade County, Florida, United States. The population was 19,297 at the 2000 census. As of 2010, the population recorded by the U.S. Census Bureau is 21,744, with a population density of 6690.1 per mi2, made up of mostly single story development.
History
The municipality sprouted from humble beginnings at Walter C. Ohlerts Tourist Camp. By way of 26 unanimous votes, the town of Hialeah Gardens achieved incorporation in December 1948.
In February 1949, Hialeah Gardens adopted their first building code, their first traffic ordinance, and the first laws regarding hunting. Hialeah Gardens served mainly as a rural community in which one of its main industries was raising horses. This remained so until 1968 when the city adopted an aggressive land use and zoning master plan to lead the growth of the city. Only a small amount of small businesses existed along the Okeechobee Road corridor. The city’s close proximity to major roadways such as Okeechobee Road (U.S. Route 27 / State Road 25) and the Palmetto Expressway (State Road 826) provide opportunity for Hialeah Gardens to become one of the fastest growing municipalities in the county.

However in last year there has been a slight decrease in crimes but not enough to take it off this list. With 4.6 million inhabitants & 19.1% living below the poverty line, its very clear that the high rate of crime is associated to a large number of the population living in poverty. Out of every 100,000 people there are 510 violent crimes, this figure can & will drop if more is done to create better opportunities for the people. 4) Tennessee Just like Louisiana, Tennessee also has a large number of their population living in poverty. Out of the 6.5 million inhabitants, 17.6% are living in poverty. Once again its no surprise that the crime rate is so high, with some of common crimes being robbery, rape, aggravated assaults, homicide and gun violence. For every 100,000 people, there are 580 violent crimes, much higher than the countries average of 368. All this crime is again closely linked to its high numbers of poverty. Until something is done to help the people, high crime will always be a issue. 3) Nevada Recognized as one of the most dangerous states to live in with a scary 600 violent crimes per 100,000 people, Nevada is a state with a serious crime problem. With only 2.9 million inhabitants its not a very densely populated state however it is home to sin city Las Vegas. Crimes like rape, robbery & assault are to be expected but it takes the lead over other states for its murder rate. Although not officially stated to protect its tourism, its high level of murders are most likely linked to its high levels of organised crime. Nevada has always had problems with crime, with its reputation for its libertarian laws such as legal gambling & prostitution, it attracts a lot crime syndicates eager to cash in. 2) New Mexico New Mexico suffers from a lot of Political Instability. With over 10% of its population being Native Americans there's obviously a lot of tension. However aside from that 20.4% of its 2.1 million inhabitants are living in poverty, so naturally its crime rate will increase. Out of every 100,000 people, there are 600 violent crimes, now instead of helping the poor by building better infrastructures so they can help themselves, instead the government is increasing its security forces. This may reduce the crime slightly but its not tackling the core issues, it will just create more tension and dislike for the government. When people have nothing, and nothing to hope for, crime will always exist, if you give the people hope & opportunity will reduce crime much more effectively than using force. 1) Alaska A surprising number 1, Alaska is quite unique. It's poverty rate is much lower at only 11.7% however its crime rate is at 602 violent crimes per 100,000 people. The issue Alaska has, is its just so large, in fact its the largest state, but is the least densely populated region with only 736,000 inhabitants. Essentially Alaska is very hard to police, if a murder is committed, its much easier to cover up than in a busy city. Witnesses would be rare, and with such a vast landscape, finding a body would be like finding a needle in a hay stack. This is why Alaska has the 3rd highest murder rate, despite its small population. Alaska will always remain a easy place to commit a crime unless its population density increases massively making it much harder for a criminal to commit a crime. However due to its harsh climate and general lack of opportunity, its population will probably never increase. As of 2005, the population recorded by the U.S. Census Bureau is 19,930,[3] with a population density of 7987.6 per mi2, made up of mostly single story development. Hialeah Gardens is located at 25°52′42″N 80°20′53″W (25.878342, -80.348072). According to the United States Census Bureau, the city has a total area of 2.5 square miles (6.5 km2). 2.5 square miles (6.5 km2) of it is land and 0.1 square miles (0.26 km2) of it (2.78%) is water. Demographics As of the census[1] of 2000, there were 19,297 people, 5,636 households, and 4,903 families residing in the city. The population density was 7,845.8 inhabitants per square mile (3,028.7/km²). There were 5,848 housing units at an average density of 2,377.7 per square mile (917.9/km²). The racial makeup of the city was 88.41% White (8.7% Non-Hispanic White,)[5] 1.80% African American, 0.08% Native American, 0.80% Asian, 5.32% from other races, and 3.59% from two or more races. Hispanic or Latino of any race were 89.78% of the population. There were 5,636 households out of which 47.5% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 64.7% were married couples living together, 15.7% had a female householder with no husband present, and 13.0% were non-families. 9.7% of all households were made up of individuals and 4.7% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older. The average household size was 3.38 and the average family size was 3.56. In the city the population was spread out with 27.7% under the age of 18, 8.1% from 18 to 24, 32.9% from 25 to 44, 20.9% from 45 to 64, and 10.5% who were 65 years of age or older. The median age was 34 years. For every 100 females there were 92.9 males. For every 100 females age 18 and over, there were 88.1 males. The median income for a household in the city was $38,858, and the median income for a family was $39,804. Males had a median income of $25,540 versus $20,862 for females. The per capita income for the city was $14,043. Louisiana is the 25th most populous American State and has one of the highest crime rates.
Violent crimes such as burglary, theft, murder, rape and assaults are the most frequent crimes in the state.
However in last year there has been a slight decrease in crimes but not enough to take it off this list.
With 4.6 million inhabitants & 19.1% living below the poverty line, its very clear that the high rate of crime is associated to a large number of the population living in poverty.
Out of every 100,000 people there are 510 violent crimes, this figure can & will drop if more is done to create better opportunities for the people.
4) Tennessee
Just like Louisiana, Tennessee also has a large number of their population living in poverty.
Out of the 6.5 million inhabitants, 17.6% are living in poverty.
Once again its no surprise that the crime rate is so high, with some of common crimes being robbery, rape, aggravated assaults, homicide and gun violence.
For every 100,000 people, there are 580 violent crimes, much higher than the countries average of 368.
All this crime is again closely linked to its high numbers of poverty.
Until something is done to help the people, high crime will always be a issue.
3) Nevada
Recognized as one of the most dangerous states to live in with a scary 600 violent crimes per 100,000 people, Nevada is a state with a serious crime problem.
With only 2.9 million inhabitants its not a very densely populated state however it is home to sin city Las Vegas.
Crimes like rape, robbery & assault are to be expected but it takes the lead over other states for its murder rate.
Although not officially stated to protect its tourism, its high level of murders are most likely linked to its high levels of organised crime.
Nevada has always had problems with crime, with its reputation for its libertarian laws such as legal gambling & prostitution, it attracts a lot crime syndicates eager to cash in.
2) New Mexico
New Mexico suffers from a lot of Political Instability.
With over 10% of its population being Native Americans there's obviously a lot of tension.
However aside from that 20.4% of its 2.1 million inhabitants are living in poverty, so naturally its crime rate will increase.
Out of every 100,000 people, there are 600 violent crimes, now instead of helping the poor by building better infrastructures so they can help themselves, instead the government is increasing its security forces.
This may reduce the crime slightly but its not tackling the core issues, it will just create more tension and dislike for the government.
When people have nothing, and nothing to hope for, crime will always exist, if you give the people hope & opportunity will reduce crime much more effectively than using force.

Witnesses would be rare, and with such a vast landscape, finding a body would be like finding a needle in a hay stack.
This is why Alaska has the 3rd highest murder rate, despite its small population.
Alaska will always remain a easy place to commit a crime unless its population density increases massively making it much harder for a criminal to commit a crime.
However due to its harsh climate and general lack of opportunity, its population will probably never increase.

According to the United States Census Bureau, the city has a total area of 2.5 square miles (6.5 km2). 2.5 square miles (6.5 km2) of it is land and 0.1 square miles (0.26 km2) of it (2.78%) is water.
Demographics
As of the census[1] of 2000, there were 19,297 people, 5,636 households, and 4,903 families residing in the city. The population density was 7,845.8 inhabitants per square mile (3,028.7/km²). There were 5,848 housing units at an average density of 2,377.7 per square mile (917.9/km²). The racial makeup of the city was 88.41% White (8.7% Non-Hispanic White,)[5] 1.80% African American, 0.08% Native American, 0.80% Asian, 5.32% from other races, and 3.59% from two or more races. Hispanic or Latino of any race were 89.78% of the population.
There were 5,636 households out of which 47.5% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 64.7% were married couples living together, 15.7% had a female householder with no husband present, and 13.0% were non-families. 9.7% of all households were made up of individuals and 4.7% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older. The average household size was 3.38 and the average family size was 3.56.
In the city the population was spread out with 27.7% under the age of 18, 8.1% from 18 to 24, 32.9% from 25 to 44, 20.9% from 45 to 64, and 10.5% who were 65 years of age or older. The median age was 34 years. For every 100 females there were 92.9 males. For every 100 females age 18 and over, there were 88.1 males.
The median income for a household in the city was $38,858, and the median income for a family was $39,804. Males had a median income of $25,540 versus $20,862 for females. The per capita income for the city was $14,043. About 10.9% of families and 13.3% of the population were below the poverty line, including 16.4% of those under age 18 and 21.0% of those age 65 or over.
Hialeah Gardens ranks #1 (Hialeah ranks #2) in the list of cities in the United States where Spanish is most spoken. As of 2000, speakers of Spanish as a first language accounted for 95.68% of the population, while English as a mother tongue made up 4.31% of the population.
As of 2000, Hialeah Gardens had the eighth highest percentage of Cuban residents in the US, with 54.31% of the population. It had the fourth highest percentage of Nicaraguan residents in the US, at 4.87% of the city's population,[8] and the twenty-fourth highest percentage of Colombian residents in the US, at 4.62% of the its population. It also had the forty-third most Dominicans in the US, at 2.86%,[10] while it had the thirty-seventh highest percentage of Hondurans, at 1.16% of all residents (tied with North Atlanta, Georgia and Conroe, Texas.)

From 2007-2009 construction began on 3 new schools in the Area along Hialeah Gardens Blvd and Okeechobee. West Hialeah Gardens Elementary School opened in the 2007-2008 school year and was used to Alleviate nearby Hialeah Gardens Elementary School and Ernest R Graham Elementary School. Hialeah Gardens Middle opened in 2008-2009 school year to alleviate Jose Marti Middle School in neighboring West Hialeah as well as Mater Academy Middle School and Youth Co-Op Charter School. Hialeah Gardens High will be opened in the Fall of 2009 to alleviate Barbara Goleman Senior High in Miami Lakes
