FearLESS Group

FAQ's on FearLESS Group

Have you grown up in a culture which is disapproving or at times hostile towards you?

Do you feel you might have internalised some of those negative feelings?

Queerphobia may be having a negative impact on your well being.

Join our FEARLESS group to explore how these issues might be affecting you and learn better ways of dealing with them.

This group is an eight-week therapeutic group for members of the GLBTIQ community who experience queerphobia. It is presented by the Counselling Service of the VAC.

FEARLESS is facilitated by professional counsellors and aims to provide a respectful and safe environment to explore your experiences and their impact on your identity. The group seeks to provide you with a better understanding of how to live a more authentic and fulfilling life in our normative heterosexual world.

If you would like to explore and understand different ways of challenging other people's and your own queerphobia contact us today.

Please note that places are limited.

Group will meet: Thursdays 5.30 - 7.30pm

Dates: 7 MAY 2015 -  25 JUNE 2015
