Psalm 64 usually refers to the 64th psalm from the Book of Psalms according to the Masoretic numbering. It corresponds to psalm 63 in the Septuagint (Vulgate) numbering. It is divided into either 10 or 11 verses (depending on whether the introductory לַמְנַצֵּחַ מִזְמֹור לְדָוִֽד "To the chief Musician [נצח], A Psalm of David" is counted as a separate verse).
It is directed against the "wicked" (רעע) and "workers of iniquity" (פֹּעֲלֵי אָֽוֶן), whom God shall shoot with an arrow (וַיֹּרֵם אֱלֹהִים חֵץ)
Verses 6–7 (Vulgate: Psalm 63:7-8) have been the subject of confusion in early Bible translations; KJV translates the Hebrew as:
But Jerome, based on LXX, rendered this as
which translates to "They have searched after iniquities: they have failed in their search. Man shall accede to a lofty heart: And God shall be exalted. The arrows of children are their wounds."
The adjective altum in Latin has both the meanings "high" and "deep", and it is here used to translate LXX βαθεῖα "deep", but it offered itself to an interpretation of an "exalted heart". The "arrows of children" (Sagittæ parvulum) render LXX βέλος νηπίων, which has no correspondence in the Hebrew text as it has come down to us.
The Book of Psalms, Tehillim in Hebrew (תְּהִלִּים or תהילים meaning "Praises"), commonly referred to simply as Psalms or "the Psalms", is the first book of the Ketuvim ("Writings"), the third section of the Hebrew Bible, and a book of the Christian Old Testament. The title is derived from the Greek translation, ψαλμοί psalmoi, meaning "instrumental music" and, by extension, "the words accompanying the music." The book is an anthology of individual psalms, with 150 in the Jewish and Western Christian tradition and more in the Eastern Christian churches. Many of the psalms are linked to the name of King David, although his authorship is not accepted by modern Bible scholars.
The Book of Psalms is divided into five sections, each closing with a doxology (i.e., a benediction) – these divisions were probably introduced by the final editors to imitate the five-fold division of the Torah:
This is the holy book of Psalms, known simply as "The Book of Psalms". The recording is dramatized, from the King James Bible. This is, in my opinion, the best and most beautiful recording of the King James Bible in existence. Thanks, blessings, honor, glory, and power to the most high God, who is the almighty creator and author of these books. To who so ever will understand, the history of "mankind" is known to have begun approximately 4.3 million years ago. The old testament of the bible is the "reported" history of a "people". Christianity, as introduced to the world by "The Way" according to the ministry of Jesus (whose date of birth was between 6 and 4 BC), began approximately at his baptism around 23-28 AD. Christianity was ultimately enforced through captivity and world domination by Romans over 300 years after the reported death of Jesus' at the cross. Check out fsmitha(dot)com for a year to year account of MANKIND'S "Macrohistory and World Report" timeline from 4.3 million years ago to 2011.
The genre of Psalms is Songs and Poetry of all kinds. It is written by multiple authors; David wrote 73, Asaph wrote 12, the sons of Korah wrote 9, Solomon wrote 3, Ethan, and Moses each wrote one (Ps. 90), and 51 of the Psalms are anonymous. They were written over the span of approximately 900 years (Beginning at the time of Moses 1440 B.C. and through the captivity in 586 B.C.). The Psalms include praises of joy, laments, blessings, and thanksgivings. They are directed at God and they help us to express and communicate ourselves to Him. We read about the Psalmist’s emotions from one extreme to another, from praising, delighting in and worshiping God with fervor, to repentance and crying out to Him in despair. Psalms sits at the very center of the Bible. The major themes found in Psalms...

Hear my voice, oh God, in my prayer
Preserve my life from fear of the enemy
Hide me from the secret counsel of the wicked
From the insurrection of the workers of iniquity
Hear my voice, oh God, in my prayer
Preserve my life from fear of the enemy
Hide me from the secret counsel of the wicked
From the workers of iniquity
Hear my voice, oh God, in my prayer
Preserve my life from fear of the enemy
Oh, hide me from the secret counsel of the wicked
From the workers of iniquity, oh
Hear my cry, oh God, oh God, oh God, oh God
And please attend, attend unto my prayers
Hear our prayers oh Lord
We can?t make it without you
We need you now
Hear my voice, oh God, in my prayer
Preserve my life from fear of the enemy, oh
Now unto Him who is able
To keep me from falling
