Nauru Air Corporation, trading as Nauru Airlines (formerly trading as Our Airline and Air Nauru) is the flag carrier airline of the Republic of Nauru. It operates scheduled international services to other Pacific islands and Australia. Its main base is Nauru International Airport. Its head office is on the property of Nauru International Airport, Yaren District, and its operations office is in Brisbane, Queensland, Australia. On the 15 July 2014, the airline announced that it would change the name of the airline to Nauru Airlines, effective 1 August 2014.
Nauru Airlines was established as Air Nauru and started operations on 14 February 1970 with an experimental service between Nauru and Brisbane, using a chartered Dassault Falcon 20 jet registered VH-BIZ. Regular scheduled services commenced after the delivery in January 1972 of the airline's first Fokker F28 Fellowship twin jet, registered C2-RN1 (a second Fellowship, C2-RN2, was subsequently placed into service as well). A Boeing 737-200 (C2-RN3) was added to the fleet in 1975 and a Boeing 727-100 (C2-RN4) entered service on 16 June 1976. Later in the 1970s the two Fellowships were sold to Air Niugini and more Boeings were added to the fleet.

Nauru (/nɑːˈuːruː/ nah-OO-roo or /ˈnɑːruː/ NAHR-oo), officially the Republic of Nauru (Nauruan: Repubrikin Naoero) and formerly known as Pleasant Island, is an island country in Micronesia in the Central Pacific. Its nearest neighbour is Banaba Island in Kiribati, 300 kilometres (186 mi) to the east. With 9,488 residents in a 21-square-kilometre (8.1 sq mi) area, Nauru is the smallest state in the South Pacific and third smallest state by area in the world, behind only Vatican City and Monaco.
Settled by native peoples from Micronesia and Polynesia, Nauru was annexed and claimed as a colony by the German Empire in the late 19th century. After World War I, Nauru became a League of Nations mandate administered by Australia, New Zealand and the United Kingdom. During World War II, Nauru was occupied by Japanese troops, who were bypassed by the Allied advance across the Pacific. After the war ended, the country entered into UN trusteeship. Nauru gained its independence in 1968.
New Zealand (/njuːˈziːlənd/ new-ZEE-lənd, Māori: Aotearoa [aɔˈtɛaɾɔa]) is an island country in the southwestern Pacific Ocean. The country geographically comprises two main landmasses – that of the North Island, or Te Ika-a-Māui, and the South Island, or Te Waipounamu – and numerous smaller islands. New Zealand is situated some 1,500 kilometres (900 mi) east of Australia across the Tasman Sea and roughly 1,000 kilometres (600 mi) south of the Pacific island areas of New Caledonia, Fiji, and Tonga. Because of its remoteness, it was one of the last lands to be settled by humans. During its long isolation, New Zealand developed a distinctive biodiversity of animal, fungal and plant life. The country's varied topography and its sharp mountain peaks, such as the Southern Alps, owe much to the tectonic uplift of land and volcanic eruptions. New Zealand's capital city is Wellington, while its most populous city is Auckland.
Somewhere between 1250 and 1300 CE, Polynesians settled in the islands that were to become New Zealand, and developed a distinctive Māori culture. In 1642, Abel Tasman, a Dutch explorer, became the first European to sight New Zealand. In 1840, representatives of the British Crown and Māori Chiefs signed the Treaty of Waitangi, making New Zealand a British colony. Today, the majority of New Zealand's population of 4.5 million is of European descent; the indigenous Māori are the largest minority, followed by Asians and Pacific Islanders. Reflecting this, New Zealand's culture is mainly derived from Māori and early British settlers, with recent broadening arising from increased immigration. The official languages are English, Māori and New Zealand Sign Language, with English predominant.
Air New Zealand Limited (NZX: AIR, ASX: AIZ) is the national airline of New Zealand. Based in Auckland, the airline operates scheduled passenger flights to 22 domestic and 29 international destinations in 16 countries around the Pacific rim and the United Kingdom. The airline has been a member of the Star Alliance since 1999.
Air New Zealand originated in 1940 as Tasman Empire Airways Limited (TEAL), a company operating trans-Tasman flights between New Zealand and Australia. TEAL became wholly owned by the New Zealand government in 1965, whereupon it was renamed Air New Zealand. The airline served international routes until 1978, when the government merged it and the domestic New Zealand National Airways Corporation (NAC) into a single airline under the Air New Zealand name. Air New Zealand was privatised in 1989, but returned to majority government ownership in 2001 after near bankruptcy due to the failed tie up with Australian carrier Ansett Australia. In the 2015 financial year to June, Air New Zealand carried 14.29 million passengers
Brisbane Airport (IATA: BNE, ICAO: YBBN) is the primary international airport serving Brisbane and South East Queensland. It is the third busiest Australian airport by aircraft movements. The airport services 26 airlines flying to 42 domestic and 28 international destinations, in total amounting in more than 21.8 million passengers who travelled through the airport in 2013.
Brisbane Airport is a major hub for Virgin Australia, and a secondary hub for both Qantas and its low cost subsidiary Jetstar. Tigerair Australia also opened a base at Brisbane Airport on 11 March 2014. Brisbane has the third highest number of domestic connections in Australia following Sydney and Melbourne. It is also home to Qantas' 767-300 and A330 heavy maintenance facility. Virgin Australia has a smaller maintenance facility at the Airport, where line-maintenance on the Airline's 737 fleet is performed. Other airlines, namely QantasLink, and Alliance Airlines also conduct maintenance at their respective facilities at the Airport. The airport has international and domestic passenger terminals, a cargo terminal, a general aviation terminal and apron as well as two runways. Brisbane Airport is accessible from the central business district by the Gateway Motorway and the Airtrain rail service, which is linked to the Queensland Rail City network. The new Airport Link motorway now connects the Brisbane CBD and the airport.
Hello everyone, today we have a walk around and cabin tour video of a Nauru Airlines 737-300 [registration VH-NXU], filmed at the annual Aviation Careers Expo that was held in Brisbane on August 20th 2016. This 737-300 was the last ever 737-300 ever built (December 1999) which makes it even more special than it already is and was delivered to the Central Pacific based airline in September last year after serving many years with Air New Zealand. I also have plenty of other footage from that day, including films of the C-130 Hercules, Army helicopters, general aviation aircraft and some old warbirds. I will upload these films later. I dearly apologise for this, but I couldn’t get to film the flight deck (yes, I know = ( ) as there was a large waiting line and as I was about to join it was ...
Season's greetings to everybody! :) Here is an Air Nauru Boeing 737-300 Classic departing off Runway 01 @ Brisbane Airport on a flight to the tiny pacific island nation of Nauru. I plan on heading to the airport at least once before the end of January to catch the summer seasonal China Airlines Boeing 747-400 plus more footage for the channel. Sorry for the pause in sound between 0:07 and 0:09. I had a hard drive plugged into my computer while rendering the video and it must have briefly disconnected. ---COMMENT, THUMBS UP, SUBSCRIBE & SHARE! :) --- Thanks for watching! :D ::|:: AIRCRAFT INFO ::|:: Airline - Air Nauru (ON/RON) Aircraft - Boeing 737-36N Registration - VH-PNI (Built 1996) Engines - 2x CFMI CFM-56-3C1 engines Flight # - Unknown Route - Brisbane (BNE) to Nauru (INU) Runway...

Welcome back to another Brisbane Airport Plane Spotting video! Here we have a Nauru Airlines Boeing 737-319 registered VH-XNU operating ON2 to Nauru Island taking off just prior to sunrise. Interestingly, this the last 737-300 produced by Boeing being delivered in December 1999 to Air New Zealand. The vibrant Nauru Airlines livery coupled with the classic Boeing 737-300 sure makes spotting a little bit more interesting - so I always enjoy seeing these aircraft when I can. Glasses raised we all say cheers
Could this be the one
Our new year
Even after all this time
I don't know why
Why you went away
Lately Im sure it's
You there waving
In the distance
Closer
The closer I get
Disappointment
It is, yes it is
They just have the same color of your hair
You're not there
You're not there
Every corner that I turn
I've convinced myself
One day you'll be there
Choruses of Auld Lang Syne
Could this be the year
Yours and mine
Lately Im sure it's
You there waving
In the distance
Closer
The closer I get
Disappointment
It is, yes it is

You're not there
You're not there
