This was so hard for me to edit and upload, because my skin is my biggest insecurity. However, I don't think having acne should be something to feel down about, you should feel EMPOWERED by the fact that you CAN cover it up and feign a flawless face. Here, I show you my special '3-step' technique! It is super easy to remember and this method ensures that your acne is sufficiently disguised ;) 3 steps of 3... 1) Cleanse, tone and moisturize (this prepares the face & provides a great canvas) 2) Conceal, foundation (or BB cream as I'm using in this tutorial), setting powder 3) Blush, contour, highlight Easy peasy! I even go in with a base concealer (here I'm using Dermablend is the most pigmented concealing product on the market! Available in 6 shades & is widely available. Alternatively, I'll use 'Boing' by Benefit in this step) then foundation/bb cream then another layer of concealer, this time I'm using Revlon! When contouring, I use the '3' trick that so many makeup artists swear by, where you brush the contour colour in a '3' shape around your temples/forehead, under the cheekbone then under/along the jawline. Products I used (and alternatives I use some days!) Angels on Bare Skin by Lush (cleanser) Vichy Normaderm (toner) Skin Drink by Lush (moisturizer) Real Techniques buffing brush, base shadow brush and accent brush (see my review of these brushes here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kCOHO5ZEsds) Vichy Dermablend ultra corrective cream stick (lightest shade, and available at BOOTS & many pharmacies) or SOMETIMES I use Boing by Benefit BB Cream by Garnier for oily to combination skin, or SOMETIMES I use foundation, usually for nightwear at a meal or on a night out, here I'm showing you two of my favourites...LO'real True Match + the Maybelline Fit Me! This video actually took a lot of courage to film because it was something I tried to hide from others and felt ashamed about. Now that I filmed it, I feel a lot better knowing that I don't have to bottle it all up anymore. For the first time in a really long time I can say I finally feel comfortable in my own skin. I explain everything that I've been through in order to help others relate. At the end of the video are before/after pics.
