The 2005 Fallbrook High School graduate received Croatia's Golden Pen award June 12. After her return to San Diego, she received an Emmy award June 26. "I've been told by all of my friends in Croatia that I'm now a superstar in Croatia," Colburn said. "They're just proud that other people are aware of their country." Colburn graduated from Fallbrook High School in 2005. She served as a student intern for the Fallbrook/Bonsall Village News all four years. Colburn went on to graduate from Colorado State University in December 2008. She was a technical journalism major in college with a minor in Spanish. The Social Democrat-led government, which will take the country into the European Union on July 1, wants to put up signs later this month, in both the Latin script used for Croatian and in Cyrillic, in areas where the population is more than one third ethnic Serb. The issue is extremely sensitive in Vukovar, a town still traumatised by the war in the former Yugoslavia. According to the 2011 census, there are about a dozen regions in Croatia with a sizeable Serb community, including the easternmost town of Vukovar, which many Croats still see as a symbol of destruction and suffering brought on by the Serb rebellion against Croatia's independence from Yugoslavia. More than two decades on, Croat and minority Serbs communities live separate lives and some now fear fresh violence. "I can't stand this. I can't even look at Serbs...and now they want Cyrillic here? They spilled the blood of our sons, of our men, our neighbours. I don't like them at all. If they did not kill people, they could have lived here with no problem," said Mara Jurcic, whose 25-year-old son Pavo was among more than 200 prisoners executed and buried in a mass grave at a pig farm near Vukovar. Ahmići massacre was the culmination of the Lašva Valley ethnic cleansing committed by the Croatian Community of Herzeg-Bosnia's political and military leadership on Bosnian Muslim (Bosniak) civilians during the Bosnian War in April 1993. It is the biggest massacre committed during the conflict between Croats and the Bosnian government (dominated by Bosniaks). The International Criminal Tribunal for the former Yugoslavia in The Hague has ruled that these crimes amounted to crimes against humanity in numerous verdicts against Croat political and military leaders and soldiers, most notably Dario Kordić, political leader of Croats in Central Bosnia who got 25 years in prison.

Tim Judah Balkans analyst The acquittal has been universally welcomed in Croatia and, equally, almost universally condemned in Serbia. It means that no Croats from Croatia (as opposed to Croats from Bosnia-Hercegovina) have been convicted by the UN's war crimes tribunal. For Croats, this vindicates their belief that their generals are heroes and not war criminals; and for Serbs it consolidates a deeply held belief that the tribunal is a kangaroo court, whose main aim was to vilify and convict Serbs. The core of the case was that the generals were part of a conspiracy, a "joint criminal enterprise" along with late Croatian President Franjo Tudjman to "permanently remove" the Serbs from what was then their self-proclaimed breakaway state in Croatia. In simple language, they were accused of a plot to ethnically cleanse the region and up to 200000 did indeed flee or were ethnically cleansed. The appeal reverses that finding and hence says that there was no joint criminal enterprise. The fact that crimes were committed during the Croatian retaking of Krajina is not contested and there have been convictions in the Croatian courts for this. But the core of the matter today is that the tribunal in The Hague is saying that there was no over-arching plan to, in effect, commit war crimes.

Croats jubilant as Gotovina acquitted of war crimes The moment when Croats on the streets of capital Zagreb hear that a UN court has acquitted two senior Croatian generals accused of war crimes. Judges at the court in the Hague ordered the immediate release of Ante Gotovina, a commander in the Croatian army and Mladen Markac, a police commander. Gotovina, a hero to many Croations, had been sentenced to 24 years in prison after prosecutors accused him of targeting civilians during the bitter Balkans conflict of the 1990s. The crowds in Zagreb, including many war veterans, greeted the new verdicts with jubilation. This man hails the decision as a victory for common sense, adding "Long live our generals' and 'Long live Croatia'. Croatian Prime Minister Zoran Milanovic, while welcoming the verdict, was more measured. He said Croatia would still bear responsibility for its mistakes in the war and would continue to strive to fulfil its debt to justice. There were also jubilant scenes outside the Hague as relatives and supporters celebrated the verdict. The two men, who spent five years in custody, are expected to be flown home on Friday.

The main reason for this acting of Wasp fans are the rumors that came from 5 person which have access to the information and there were next; Wasp and Dark Tranquility cancelled their show because Dave insisted that Megadeth needs to play earlier because of their show in Italy even when their were headliners, Wasp didn't want to move their schedule and got an argue with Dave so they canceled the show 2 hours before the show has to start... second rumor was that Dave insisted that his show must go earlier and none of bigger bands cannot play after them and when Megadeth plays on other stages can't play demo bends or any band at all... Security FAILED and no one did not even wanted to stop something ass you can see on whole concert, no one even the organization said something like stop throwing things or band will cancel concert or please don't act like this... so something like that was inevitable and rockS where everywhere on the ground around stage and people which was in the mosh pit got bruises when they hit the ground. My opinion is that the organization is guilty for that, the easiest way is to blame the band and dissociate, themselves.
