The partnership between CeBIT Australia and the Australian Government Information Management Office (AGIMO) ensures a high level audience for the e-Government Forum consisting of senior government representatives. This Forum will bring together the people that shape the future of e-Government in Australia.

Join more than 500 senior executives from government and industry in a stimulating environment of program content and networking.

In an increasingly online world, more and more government information and services are being delivered electronically - delivering major economic benefits for business, government, and the country.

Bringing services online was the first step in revolutionising the way in which government offered their products and services to the general public and the business community. The next steps are bigger and more complex - looking at creating and combining different data sources and functionalities, streamlining information and communication processes and making it easy and widely accessible, but at the same time protecting and securing it from abuse.

As leaders in the adoption of e-Government, Australian agencies have already confronted many of these challenges. In Australia, e-Government touches upon many different areas like health, transport, defence and security, and involves many different parties all aiming at the same goal: better services leading to increased productivity and efficiency.

Answering your questions on e-Government strategy and policy once again in 2008 will be the CeBIT Australia e-Government Forum. Learn from the strategies and visions that have led to success, understand the key issues, network with industry leaders and identify the road ahead.

CeBIT Australia is proud to announce the e-Government Exhibition - G-Tech - a dedicated show that will run as part of CeBIT Australia 2008.

Bringing together the very latest solutions and the brightest minds in government and industry, the e-Government Exhibition and Forum is the most important event you'll attend all year. You will get the right information to help you strategise and make the right decisions.
