Canberra Convergence Live Broadcast 13th February 2008

Mural FlagTune into 3CR on the 13th of February for live coverage from the Canberra Convergence.   Indigenous people and their supporters will travel to Canberra to mark the historical national apology to the Stolen Generations of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples. The nationally organised convergence is calling for an immediate review of the NT Intervention, restoration of the Racial Discrimination Act, Aboriginal control of Aboriginal affairs, as well as implementation of the UN Declaration on the Rights of Indigenous peoples. Community Radio Federation Elections 2008

Nominations are now open for Station Worker and Subscriber Representatives to the Community Radio Federation, the highest decision making body at the station.

If you are interested in getting involved in the decision making processes of 3CR please contact the Station Manager who will send you a nomination form.

Please note you must be a financial subscriber to nominate for a position. Forms must be returned to the station by 5pm on Wednesday 20 February 2008.

Survival Day 2008

Survival Day 083CR marked this year's Survival Day with 5 hours of special programming featuring music a live cross to the Invasion Day Rally and reports from the Share the Spirit concert at Treasury Gardens. Thanks to 3CR programmers Robbie Thorpe, Clare Land and Gilla McGuiness for their work on the day. For continuing coverage of indigenous issues tune into Fire First, the Koori Survival Show and 3CR's other indigenous programs.
