Embracing self-advocacy transformed my career, highlighting the pivotal role of recognizing and sharing our achievements. A recent success was spearheading a project that significantly enhanced our operational efficiency, while also pioneering innovative approaches to address climate change—proof that advocating for oneself can lead to tangible results and greater visibility in both industrial innovation and environmental stewardship. LinkedIn 🌍 has been instrumental in this journey, providing a vibrant platform to showcase our victories and learn from the collective wisdom of professionals worldwide. Let's continue to amplify our successes here, fostering an environment of mutual support and empowerment. #SelfAdvocacy #LinkedInSuccess

LinkedIn: What are these AI powered articles that are requesting people to add their expertise to? I think LinkedIn needs to loudly clarify what they are being used for and IF they’re using the data to train an AI to better perform the tasks the articles are about. If the data is being used to train an AI program, shame on LinkedIn for potentially undermining the entire point of this app- to help humans find work and grow in their fields. You could be training a computer program to replace a person. LinkedIn should clearly state what it plans to do with these articles.

Highlighting the importance of self-advocacy and celebrating the achievements of women! 💪✨ Jennifer Hyman's insights resonate deeply, reminding us that self-promotion isn't just about personal gain—it's about creating a culture where all women feel empowered to own their successes and support each other along the way. Kudos to Rent the Runway for not only championing this message but also taking tangible steps to uplift underserved women through their generous donations to Dress for Success. 🙌 Karen Carney's journey exemplifies the resilience and determination that drive women to break barriers and pursue their passions fearlessly. Her words serve as a powerful reminder that the only limits we face are the ones we place on ourselves. And the discussion on increasing leadership opportunities for women couldn't be more timely. Embracing diversity and prioritizing skills-based hiring are essential steps toward building more inclusive workplaces where everyone has the opportunity to thrive.

Although it may not be apparent, I am struggling with self-advocacy. So it seems I might need to address why am I reluctant to be specific, open and factual about my achievements. I have no issues with sharing the kind of work I could do for my team, for partners, and for everyone else. How do you stop being your worst enemy? How can one learn the proper way of self-advocacy? Is there a proper way? How do you distinguish between self-advocacy and shameless self-complacency? The only statement I can make in that respect is that I know that I am good but I am unable to say anything further because it goes against my sense of style and standards. Simply put, according to my cultural codes self-advocacy is unacceptable. If you had a similar experience, how did you resolve this conflict successfully? Any helpful remarks would be much appreciated. Many thanks.

Everyday is "Womens History Month". If we continue to celebrate this every year, it's a clear example that our leadership is failing to enshrine Constitutional measures. Overlooking the fact that everyday is Womens History Month, this post (In The Loop) seems to be a measure of an prideful continuation of failed social engineering. With 'specific' women missing in the photo, it clearly doesn't reach international diversity.

LinkedIn! Una victoria laboral reciente que compartiría es: –Tuve la oportunidad de formar un equipo de liderazgo y dejar mi relevo. Es gratificante saber que "ya están listos" para ascender en la empresa y seguir el proyecto bajo su liderazgo.

Starting a Banned by LinkedIn Group when I was unjustly banned from this platform for 13 and 1/2 months, watching the banned membership grow to over 400 humans attempting to figure out the quagmire that creates Account Recovery Specialists who simply ignore any comment a banned member submits in response to the alleged reason they were banned. My win is every now and then someone in the group who had no hope left, sharing they were re admitted to LinkedIn!
