The Palo Alto Airport (PAO) is a general aviation field, owned and operated by the City of Palo Alto. The Airport is a reliever to three Bay Area airports. PAO is the busiest single runway airport in California. The airport has one paved runway 13/31, measuring 2,443 × 70 feet. 

The terminal building is available to transient pilots and visitors. Wi-Fi, seating, and restrooms are available in the terminal. Parking for vehicles are available next to the terminal and is free for the first 8 hours.

The Air Traffic Control Tower is operated by the Federal Aviation Administration.
